in BaseCamp 37°, UtahI highly recommend a stay at Basecamp37 if you are ever in South Utah! It is located on a beautiful piece of property right on the border between Utah and Arizona. The tent that we stayed in was awesome. The bed was comfortable and perfectly warm even for the cool desert nights. The main house had a kitchen and two bathrooms that were available to us for use and was a fantastic alternative to eating out each evening. The host Amy and Curtis were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. They gave us lots of tips on activities to do and places to see. We felt like we were getting insider information into some of the less crowded but equally as beautiful areas around Kanab. Basecamp37 was within good driving distance and very centrally located to Zion NP, Bryce, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Horse Shoe Bend, etc. If we return to Utah, and we hope to soon, we will definitely be staying here during our trip! We also greatly appreciated that they were fine with allowing our 7 month old stay with us as well. It made for a great first family trip.

in Big Bend National Park, TexasWe absolutely loved the Outer Mountain Loop. The scenery was new and exciting each day! Can't wait to go back.
