We can't say enough about this place, from the moment you drive through the gate the hosts will go out of there way to make sure your stay is fantastic. You get to meet all the animals, the kids all get to mingle, play on the swings, kick a football together or maybe a game of cricket, at night kids go play spotlight and the adults get to mingle around the campfire exchanging stories and making new life long friends. I could go on and on but the best way to find your best stay is to book. We have made this our new go to place. Thanks guys

The campervan was fully stocked and equipped, and very clean. The camp ground is large and there's so much room!! My daughter loved the pigs and the mini pony. We'll be back 😺

What a absolute gem! Only 30 minutes south of Townsville. Big open spaces, bore water id you need it. Amazing setup for kids - animals, swings, Playground,. We loved it here so much. The hosts go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Friday night drinks around the fire for the adults, movie and popcorn for kids. This place is a must stay during your travels.

I love event single time I come back to this place. Katie and Jason are the kindest hosts and it is such a beautiful location at the foothills. It’s the perfect distance from town and I feel so safe leaving my van and my dog for the day knowing it’s a great place with great owners. Cannot recommend this place more ❤️

We have been meaning to come and check this place out for a while now and it did not disappoint! The hosts Katie and Jason were so welcoming and very kid friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The kids loved playing on the farm, feeding the animals and roaming free all weekend. The movie night and popcorn on Friday was an added bonus too. Before we had even left they were asking when we could return! Thanks for a great weekend guys , we will definitely be back soon 😊

The host are fantastic and go out of there way to hat with all the campers and kids and made our time amazing and so welcoming. We hired the glamping caravan and had everything we needed and more. Kids had so much fun and hated when it was time to go home and already asking us when are we going back. Also the animal tour and feeding farm animals for only $10 p/p was definitely worth it. Not sure who had more fun.. me or the kids.
We will definitely be back.

We loved it here! Jason was the perfect host.
It was the perfect spot for kids with plenty of farm life. Pigs, pony’s, goats, cows and puppies 🐶

Our family had an amazing weekend away at Mountview. Katie and Jason were great hosts and our 2 boys loved it all - the farm tour, playground, movie nights were all highlights. We will definitely return next season.

Loved the toy poddles especially the 2 week old puppies. Our girls loved the trampoline, swings and play equipment. As well as all the animals. Great overnighter. We can't wait to get a puppy when we get home after our big lap.

A quick over nighter but a great place to stay close by to Townsville. Everyone was super friendly and lots of space for the kids to run around. We did find a stowaway (spider) hanging on to the van as we drove down the highway after leaving 😂

We had such an awesome time, perfect spot parked up under the tree with a perfect view of the mountains. Kids have so much to do, from exploring and seeing all the farm animals to running around kicking the ball or riding the bike. The hosts were really lovely, very welcoming and made sure we were having a good time. The kids loved movie night and enjoyed a couple bowls of yummy 🍿. We highly recommend this farm stay.

We loved our stay at Mountainview! Great family atmosphere, animals to pat, the hosts were lovely and great facilities including a dump point. There was a communal fire and a movie on the big screen for the kids to enjoy. Highly recommend for a family stay.

We had a blast here on the kids Birthday long weekend kids loved the slip n slide although none of the adults used it , we absolutely loved the little tour around their property & education on all the farm animals ,we would definitely stay here again 😀 ❤️

We had a great stay here! Katie and Jason are amazing hosts - so friendly, welcoming and easy to chat to and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The animals are well loved and well cared for and the farm/park is neat and well planned out - one of the best organised and best looking farm stays we have stayed at!
The view of the mountains and sunsets are spectacular. The whole farmstay is relaxing and was far enough out of town to feel like you were in the middle of nowhere but close enough to go get maccas if you couldn't be bothered cooking.
Pleasant stay and excited to see what next year brings them!

Thank you Jason and Katie for creating such a safe place for kids to camp and be outdoors. Jason welcomed us and told us about the farm. The kids loved the farm animals including the pig, cows, chickens, goats and of course an he famous poodles! They also put on a fantastic Friday night movie with popcorn machine! Our only regret is missing the Sunday farm tour as we stayed mid week! Thank you! We hope to return one day on our travels.

We left after an hour as we couldn’t stand the flies! There were more flies in our van than outside, we even found them inside our fridge. Not the owners problem, but it ruined it for us.

What a fantastic farm stay. We were warmly welcomed and the kids embraced and encouraged to help out on farm jobs and they took time teaching them things about the animals. The kids loved it. They also loved the playground, having a movie play on the outdoor screen and a slip n slide was set up whilst we were there too. Our doggie was also warmly welcomed and she was able to enjoy some off leash time too. We hooked up to water and enjoyed the bush setting with mountain views and outback feel to the sunsets. They set things up to encourage a community feel and commingling. It was also 25mins to Townsville where we refreshed in the “Rockpool” and took in views from castle hill and I was told, but didn’t visit, there was a little creek down the road good for cooling off. Would love to come back.

Family Carvan Staycation
What a great farmstay we had! We usually setup a tent to camp but being heavily pregnant, we decided to stay in the caravan on site. This had everything we needed, we only had to take food, clothes and sporting equipment for the kids and the kids thought it was absolutely awesome staying in a caravan. There was a slip n slide set up for the kids which was thoroughly enjoyed. We also did the farm tour, Jason & Katie are knowledgable and talked to the kids so they would understand. The kids got to feed plenty of animals, pat them and we got to see the whole farm. The kids enjoyed a movie night with some delicious popcorn and then the footy grand final the following night. All of the children staying played spotlight and played well together and were welcoming and inclusive. The kids could ride their bikes around the farm down to the animals and to the playground which they really enjoyed. My two boys are full of energy and we are absolutely chaotic, but the best thing about the farm stay is that the kids could just be kids without judgement or feeling the need for them to be quiet in consideration for other guests (within reason of course). Everyone who was staying love kids, don't mind the chaos and some have kids themselves in the same situation. Jason & Katie have an amazing farmstay and are really wonderful hosts. We will be back for sure!

An excellent option for families. Not too far out of Townsville with a family friendly vibe. We were there during school holidays and there were movies on each night with a cheap dinner option one night as well. The addition of a dump point is very welcome with the distance from Townsville. Water was excellent too. Would definitely recommend.
