The incredible views of the Dwyryd estuary and Portmeirion, make this small wild camping site, with horse box glamping in Snowdonia, a really unique space. It can also be booked by individual sites or entirely by your group. An ideal location for exploring all that Snowdonia has to offer. Close to beautiful beaches and mountains. Or just stay put and enjoy the view! Ideal for individuals or small to medium size groups. There is a horse box that sleeps 2 on a high bed above the cab and has a kitchenette/dining space. There are 4 camp areas, one is quite large. All are less than 25 metres from the parking area and there are very basic facilities, a compost toilet and a tap. This is usually a self check in site and all sites need to be left clean and tidy for the next guests. This is a simple and unspoilt site that offers a tranquil setting, with sounds of nature and amazing views. There are many beautiful beaches and lakes close by, castles, steam trains, mountains, historic buildings and pilgrim churches, water sports, national cycle route and the coastal path. Within 20 minutes by car, bus or train are Harlech, Porthmadog, Tremadog and Blaenau Ffestiniog (zip world). Snowdon walk is half an hour’s drive away. Plenty to do! For local services, 2 miles away in different directions are two villages. Talsarnau has a pub and Penrhyndeudraeth has 2 small supermarkets, post office, several cafes, restaurants and takeaways, 2 pubs and a petrol station. Porthmadog is a few minutes further by car, bus or train and has extensive services and facilities. The property is accessed via a steep narrow lane, with passing places, about 1/2 mile from the A496 road. By public transport, there is a train station and a bus stop in Llandecwyn on the main road. National cycle route 8 passes our property gate. Llyn Tecwyn lake is a few minutes walk up the lane, with Llandecwyn church above that. A little further away are more lakes and reservoirs, the Rhinog mountains with Bryn Cader Faner and a temperate rain forest Coed Felinrhyd. All are lovely hikes from our property.

Waunbayvil wild camping. A teeny pop up campsite for private groups. Come alone or bring friends and family. Just 10 mins drive from the sea at Ceibwr on the Pembrokeshire coast. The space Waunbayvil camping is set in its own secluded spot on 40 acres of private wildland and woodlands in the Pembrokeshire national Park, with a pond and views of the stunning landscape. It is the perfect getaway, a place to re-connect with nature and your loved ones in the most peaceful place away from it all. This is not a big campsite with lots of other people, you can book one of 3 seperate fields for a private group, or otherwise, only 2 or 3 families very spread out at a time. The pitches are set out with plenty of space in between. There is parking for cars or campervans with nothing but nature all around you. We also have a small hard standing area for campervan. There is a shared compost loo, a washing up area, and an off grid shower shack. It is set in the most beautiful surroundings, teaming with wild life and filled with wild orchids and many different species of grasses and wildflowers. It is unique and a treat for people who love natural habitat. The sea is about two miles away where there are spectacular cliff walks for many miles on the Pembrokeshire coast path, and beautiful beaches for swimming. Bring logs and kindling with you. (Can be bought from any garage) If you bring a cool box we can top you up with frozen ice packs. Just ask. NO LOUD PARTIES Guest access Acres of land and woodland, compost loo, shower hut, pond. Other things to note 40 acres of meadows, wildlife habitat and woods which guests are welcome to roam. You can walk down the track and visit the artists gallery and shop in the big blue barn. Weekend Trip to Nant Bach Retreat

We had a lovely stay at Nant Bach retreat. John met us and showed us around. It was super peaceful with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and made use of the BBQ, courtyard and wood-fired hot tub which was amazing and watched the sunset from it. The woodburnimg stove was easy to use and keep in, it kept the barn lovely and warm.

There are 4 large flat areas with views for large or small tents. Shaded by the cherry tree, this camping spot is ideal in a heat wave.

Andy is a truly lovely guy and cannot do enough for you, ensuring that you are comfortable and have everything you need as well as a great source of local information. Wild meadows is a serene, tranquil slice of heaven, truly majestic in its beauty and simplicity. The Shepherds was perfect, clean, tidy, comfortable and everything we wanted and needed. Waking up in the morning with the birds singing and the sound of the stream was heavenly, only to be enhanced by sitting at the stream and enjoying breakfast. Highly recommend this beautiful haven of heaven for a peaceful getaway to anyone.

We loved our stay at Lizzie’s campsite - it was beautiful and very peaceful! The views were incredible and the pitches well maintained, you can tell they’re cared for. Nothing beats looking out your back window / tent and seeing the sun rise over an entire estuary! Lizzie was very warm and welcoming to us, even when we accidentally pitched up on the wrong site 😆 I felt if we needed anything at all she wouldn’t hesitate to help! My partner and I stayed for the last night of our coastal Welsh road trip and WOW! Saved the best till last! We wanted the closest to ‘wild camping’ with facilities and this is exactly what we got. The host was super helpful and quick to reply to any queries. The welcome PDF was very clear and made check in/out super smooth. The setting is just breath taking, and we had such a peaceful evening. A very welcoming and comfortable stay at Edens Nook. We parked up on a dry pitch, kindly offered as it was available next to the yurts. We had the fire pit, bench and garden to ourselves so we could could and enjoy the peaceful space as the sun set. Warm showers and a cracking breakfast. Well worth it!
