Quiet semi rural location close to the ancient township of Caerwys and within walking distance of Offas Dyke Path and local hillforts . Easily accessible off the A541 Mold-Denbigh road , 7 mins from J31 on A55 . A short 20-25 minute drive to the beach resorts of Talacre , Rhyl , Abergele and Prestatyn. The historic towns of Denbigh and Mold are only a 15 minute drive away as is Holywell and Flint . An ideal base to relax and unwind or if you wish to park up for the duration there is plenty of local walks from our gate to lakes and nature reserves in the area. On site you will have ensuite facilities in our luxurious Quarry Wagons with a covered outdoor veranda deck and an outdoor bath tub to relax and unwind under the dark skies. You will also have your own campfire and picnic area right outside and parking is provided adjacent to your unit . We have a secluded private hillside woodland with further areas to explore without even leaving the site . We are brand new for 2024 and will have 2 units onsite this year and plans in place for another 2 soon . In total we will have 4 camping pitches with direct connection for water , electric and lpg gas for all your heating cooking and bathing needs

Nestled amongst trees are two unique hand crafted eco cabins from reclaimed wood and local materials. Each characterful cabin has a wood burner and verandas, a spacious private garden with a fire pit and it's own parking. One cabin has an outdoor bath with another in progress. Relax, breathe and soak up the vibrant green of West Wales.
Our property is 0.3 miles down a secluded track surrounded by a mixture of farmland and woods. We've a quiet private woodland behind us which connects to the public footpath and follows the stream in the valley. To the south there is an open meadow with far reaching views to the Preseli Hills. Follow the footpaths down to the Teifi river where you can walk or canoe along the river and gorge walk to Cilgerran and Cardigan, taking in wildlife and history. The cabins are 6 miles from the stunning beaches and rugged coastal path of Ceredigion, a wealth of Neolithic sites, ancient woodland and contemporary Welsh culture in bustling Cardigan.
There's every comfort to make your stay a home from home; comfortable bedding, handmade and reclaimed furniture and a simple, well equipped kitchen. Highly insulated it's easy to heat with the wood burner. Outside there's your own private compost toilet and a gas powered shower.
We work from home on various creative projects and therapies and after an initial meet and greet we leave our guests in peace unless you need something. We use regenerative principles to guide us in enhancing Nature here, encouraging wildlife with the trees, flowers, herbs and fruits. If we're able to we often give little tours of the garden and workshop so do ask if your'e interested.

We stayed in the Oak cabin. Both cabins are pretty identical. Absolutely fantastic stay with an amazing location and stunning views. Unfortunately we didn't have the best weather but that was ok because we had all the facilities we needed to cook, clean and relax.
Super easy access to nearby towns if wanting to venture off to find stuff to do.
The outdoor bath was a really nice touch as well. Felt so relived and stress free not having to think about the daily grind for a few nights.
Couldn't recommend Wildwood Quarry Retreat enough!!

My first time visiting the exquisite country of Wales and Cwmllwyd Gateways made my stay everything I could have asked for. From the drive to the pod (equal parts stunning and charming) to the location, impeccably well maintained with views to die for) to the pod itself (nothing short of sublime). This getaway was absolutely everything and I cannot wait to come back and stay again and for a longer time. One of the best stays I’ve had a quite a while.

Loved our two night stay! The views are incredible and so peaceful, hot tub was perfectly placed to sit and relax whilst looking looking at the view. Stayed as a family of 4 for the Eisteddfod, we were lucky the weather was kind to us. Nice surprise the pod looks out onto the Mach Loop and saw two amazing planes!
The pod was a very clean with a great layout out, well equipped and maintained. Ceri was very responsive when we needed anything. Would highly recommend and definitely come back and explore the area more as so much to do!

Beautiful cabin situated in such a wonderful location!
The Cabin had everything you could possibly need for self catering. Everything was spotless and mksern.
Hot power shower with all the amenities!
Our standout was the bedroom, such a comfy bed in a little off room of the main cabin!
The hot tub was just what we needed after climbing Snowden. Again, superbly clean.
We’ll be back as soon as humanly possibly. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a few days of peace!

My partner & I had an absolutely wonderful time at Ceri’s.
The views were just spectacular, and the cabin felt like a home from home. We didn’t even feel the need to eat out, so had home cooked meals both nights. We went for a long walk around Hafren Forest, and then back to the blissful hot tub for a glass of bubbles.
I would recommend this stay to anyone, but in particular couples that want a little special get-away.

Absolutely fantastic place! Such high quality. We had everything we needed and more, the hosts were very welcoming with the little touches they provided. Extremely clean and well cared for place. We stayed in the wooden lodge and was so surprised how much space there was.
