Our beautiful home is a glamping and camping site with its own gorgeous fishing lake on the outskirts of the village of Llandyfan. You can find us to the west of the Brecon Beacons or Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Llandyfan Campsite has been lovingly re-established in early 2024 by Andy and Jo. Since taking ownership, we have rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into restoring it to its former glory and will soon be back to being a fully operational slice of Welsh heaven. Our first focus has been the fishing lake which we opened in March. The campsite followed in May. We are currently working on electric hook ups and other improvements. We have chickens on site that roam free during the day. They are friendly and like to wander around the tents to say hello to our guests! We would like everyone who visits to have a great time and a relaxing break. Whilst here please be considerate towards others, to their property, and while using the facilities. If you have any concerns, please let us know. We have brought out a few rules from our T&Cs and we kindly ask that you have a read through before your stay. Litter: You must pick up your litter. Please either take it with you or recycle it appropriately in the bins onsite. There are recycling bins on the campsite, it is your responsibility to recycle. Pitches to be left as you found them. Noise: Be respectful and consider your neighbours. Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am in the morning. No loud music is to be played at any time. Children: Children must be supervised at all times around the campsite and can play within the pitch space allocated to you. At quiet times, it may be possible for children to use vacant pitches for play but this cannot be guaranteed. The amenity block and associated facilities are not to be used as a play area. Dogs: Must not to be left unattended. Are to be kept on leads at all times whilst on the campsite. (We are working on an enclosed dog walking area, however this is not yet available). no refunds on bookings if cancelled withing 10days of booking

Coed Obry is a 5.5 acre private woodland on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. It has its own private gated access from the road and a 50m track leads from the A 4085 to a small car park for 5 vehicles. Paths lead from there to the caravan, bunkhouse, camping areas. There is a compost toilet block and sink (cold water tap) in the centre of the wood shared by all visitors. The notice board in the car park provides visitors with maps, photos and information about the wood, and there are laminated maps showing the routes of around 30 local walks which visitors are welcome to borrow during their stay. Canoe, kayaks and paddle boards are available to hire in Coed Obry and there are several fire pits with seasoned firewood for sale. There is no mains water so visitors are requested to bring their own drinking water, but rain water harvesting systems provide water for washing. Nearby there are several outstanding beaches within 1-3 miles and there is good access to the mountains of Snowdonia; the Afon Dwyryd provides an excellent sheltered river/estuary for canoeing and paddle boarding; the slate quarries and tourist attractions of Blaenau Ffestiniog, rock climbing at Tremadog (2 miles); spectacular waterfalls at Croesor (1 mile); the Ffestiniog Narrow Gauge Railway (0.5 miles); the Glaslyn Osprey Centre (1 mile); several shops, restaurants, hostelries and Spar shop in Penrhyndeudraeth (1 mile); three large supermarkets and a regional shopping centre in Porthmadog (2.5 miles).

Relax, breathe and soak up the vibrant green of West Wales. Our property is 0.3 miles down a secluded track surrounded by a mixture of farmland and woods. We've a quiet private woodland behind us which connects to the public footpath and follows the stream in the valley. To the south there is an open meadow with far reaching views to the Preseli Hills. Follow the footpaths down to the Teifi river where you can walk or canoe along the river and gorge walk to Cilgerran and Cardigan, taking in wildlife and history. The cabins are 6 miles from the stunning beaches and rugged coastal path of Ceredigion, a wealth of Neolithic sites, ancient woodland and contemporary Welsh culture in bustling Cardigan. There's every comfort to make your stay a home from home; comfortable bedding, handmade and reclaimed furniture and a simple, well equipped kitchen. Highly insulated it's easy to heat with the wood burner. Outside there's your own private compost toilet and a gas powered shower. We work from home on various creative projects and therapies and after an initial meet and greet we leave our guests in peace unless you need something. We use regenerative principles to guide us in enhancing Nature here, encouraging wildlife with the trees, flowers, herbs and fruits. If we're able to we often give little tours of the garden and workshop so do ask if your'e interested.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin and honestly couldn’t recommend it enough! 🌿✨ It’s the perfect little escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and such a lovely place to switch off, slow down and feel completely connected to nature. The cabin itself was beautiful and cosy, and the outdoor bath overlooking the grounds was such a special touch. Sitting there listening to the owls and all the wildlife around us was so peaceful. The star gazing was probably one of our favourite parts of the whole stay — I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever seen a sky so full of stars! The couple who run the cabin were absolutely lovely and couldn’t have been more attentive or helpful. Even when we hadn’t received the manual (which, as it turns out, was sitting happily in my junk folder 🤣), they were so patient and helpful with everything we needed. They even kindly let us pick some apples from their apple tree, which was such a lovely little extra! The wood fire was another gorgeous addition and made the cabin feel so cosy in the evenings. And the bed… honestly, I think that was the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time! The neighbouring town was also a delight and had a lot of cute shops to browse! It really is such a special place and the perfect retreat if you’re looking to escape, reconnect with nature and properly relax. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend it. We’re already hoping to come back again in the future! 🤍🌿✨

Ruth and John are extremely welcoming and very available to offer us advice. Their cabin is peaceful, nestled among the trees, and features a large private plot of land as well as an outdoor bathtub. What an incredible place to stay. The photos don’t do the Billy Goat cabin and its little neigbour huts justice. Our kids had a blast in their own private wood, running through the pathways to the lookout and hanging out in the Wendy house and they couldn’t believe that we got to see the microlights take off right next to our base. Sally was just the most incredible and accommodating host and made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to come back again! X

Such a lovely place Megan and Benjamin have created! We loved the roundhouse, eating at the little table whilst seating on the floor. We liked it so much that we hardly went away. We used the oven to grill some burrito's and we made a bonfire outside to roast marshmellows and bake bread on a stick. We quickly got used to the compostable toilet.

Highly recommended. Very good value for money as it can sleep 8 although there were only 5 of us. The airfield was a real bonus, watching small planes and a paramotor take off on the Monday was really memorable (too windy on the other days). The pool was a hit with the kids, we went in early April so this gave us something extra to do when it was cooler. Plenty to do nearby, felt in the middle of nowhere but handy that supermarket within 5 mins. Sally and Adrian were so helpful and accommodating, they were great hosts. Can’t fault it, we’d definitely go back.
