We have a family friendly Quiet campsite in the heart of Lancashire on our family run farm. Our site is situated in a species rich meadow field with large mown Pitches surrounded by wild flowers and meandering pathways linking the site together. We are surrounded by a young trees & woodland with the back drop of the Pennines. We offer both glamping and traditional non EHU camping on our site, with lovely hot showers, clean toilet facilities, fresh water point, pot wash area, phone charger lockers, communal freezers, elsan disposal point, microwave, coffee/hot chocolate machine, and our little honesty shack with all little camping essentials to might need whilst staying with us. We also hire out picnic benches and fire pits to help enhance your camping experience. We have a lovely little woodland walk, with a meandering mown path, that winds through our woodland/conservation area. Perfect to walk your dog, and let your kids explore. Adjoining the campsite, we have a padock with super frindly sheep that love to say hello. We sell little bags of sheep feed, just incase you'd like to give them a little treat. In the middle of the site, we have a little tots play area, perfect for keeping you're small kids entertained. We are a Quiet family site, with a Reduced Noise policy from 9 pm, and Quiet Time from 10 pm to 8.30 am. Our site has close links to the A6 and m6 J33. We are only 13 miles from the Historic city of Lancaster, the Bright lights of Blackpool and the jubilee city of Preston. 4 miles from the first fair trade market town of Garstang and 45 mins into the Lake District. There is also lots of interesting activities to do locally.

What a little Derbyshire gem: back to basics Whitehouse Farm Campsite is a simple site in a most scenic setting five minutes’ drive from the pretty village of Tideswell. The site’s central location in the Peak District National Park means it’s a top spot for those who want to ramble or ride bikes – several circular trails leave from Tideswell and the traffic-free Monsal Trail is a five-minute drive away. And there’s plenty more activity if you require it too, as activity centres nearby can sort you out days of horse riding, abseiling, climbing and caving. All this activity isn’t mandatory, of course – this is an equally fine location for days pottering off to local pubs, pigging out on pudding in Bakewell or taking a leisurely stroll around the Chatsworth Estate, 20 minutes away. And if even that’s too much, you’d be welcome to spend some time loafing about on site: there’s heaps of space here, and as facilities have been kept quite minimal (just showers and toilets) there should be a good serving of peace and quiet to go with it all. Guests are welcome to light up a barbecue or campfire for cookouts and keeping warm; Tideswell’s the place for supermarket supplies, and it’s also handily got a fish and chip shop and a couple of pubs for days when your firelighting skills aren't up to much.

We did not get to meet Janice and Paul as we were out and about a lot, but the campsite was absolutely perfect! The toilets were great- so clean, roomy, and lots of signs / laminated information posters. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here, it’s a lovely area- we went on a few big hikes and really enjoyed coming back after a long day to sit on the on-site picnic benches with a glass of wine and some snacks as the sun went down. I would HIGHLY recommend this campsite to anyone wanting to stay in the area and explore the beautiful countryside. PLUS the cows and sheep on the farm were so so cute.

Henbant is a wonderful place! So much good stuff being done here by these lovely people. We returned again in our campervan and enjoyed a warm welcome, peace and quiet surrounded by nature, and gorgeous sunset. The farm shop is great, and the compost loos are clean and well kept. We loved hearing about the events and community projects they run. We would highly recommend Henbant for couples or families. Thanks Henbant team!

We absolutely loved it, Ted was so friendly, passionate and very accommodating. We wish we could have stayed longer but we weren't able to due to work. But we will be back! Lovely quiet area, peaceful but with cute ducks around. Fires are allowed so we had a BBQ and just what we needed to get away from the world. No signal too or wifi which is why we chose it. 10/10 recommend!

It’s a gorgeous site with stunning views. Lovely and peaceful. No loud noise allowed and dog friendly. Beautiful cows close by. Dogs on lead at all times. Clean toilets and running cold water. Excellent information shared to campers before arrival. Free fire pits and excellent price per night, with no added charge for dogs. Lovely walk from the site to Miller’s Dale. Highly recommend.

Honestly can’t not explain how much I rate this campsite. The views were incredible, no one else there so you can have your music as loud as you want. Can chill and not have any worries about anything. Just an amazing spot, the river was amazing and it was nice to go in. The host was brilliant and gave us our space but reminded us that if we needed anything then to not hesitate to ask. Highly recommend.

Located within walking distance of the historical market town of Machynlleth, we're a great base for exploring all that rural Mid West Wales has to offer. We're on the Glyndŵr National Walking Trail and the Wales Coast Path. There are many cycling trails of all levels nearby - from the Lon Las and Dyfi Bike Park to Ystwyth and Elan Trails. A short bus ride from us are the Snowdonia National Park, Cader Idris and beautiful beaches of Cardigan Bay. Our guests love the outdoors but like a little relaxation at the end of a day's activities, so we offer a some home comforts in the communal camping facilities barn which has a kitchenette with fridge, kettle, microwave and washing up area as well as an indoor seating area on the mezzanine level. Hot showers and toilets are available in the wet rooms also situated in the barn. You can unwind under the stars in the communal campfire area next to the camping field. There's an outdoor sink on the camping field for cleaning muddy gear and a place to clean your bike if needed. The nearby town offers independent shops, an art gallery and historical buildings. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, grocery shops and a petrol station where you can top up on supplies. You'll get the best of both worlds at this secluded campsite which overlooks the Dyfi Valley's stunning scenery whilst being within stone's throw of local amenities.

Up at the isle’s most north-western point near Church Bay, it’s about as far as you can get from the mainland without actually ditching into the sea. With that far-flung setting comes a stunning sea view – one that can be gazed at for many hours from the comfort of your pitch (a recommended activity around sunset, with drink in one hand and a barbecue stoking implement in the other). See the sea from a different angle on the nearby Anglesey Coast Path or while strolling on the sands of one of the local beaches. The waves aren’t the only gazing material around here – turn your back on the coast for scenic views of Mynydd Y Garn, or bring binoculars for a bit of birdwatching. Once darkness falls, direct your gaze upwards; the lack of light pollution means the stars can often put on a glittering show here. This isn’t a place for folks seeking heaps of facilities and entertainment; the emphasis is very much on peace and nature. Low-key amenities include a drinking water supply, a chemical disposal point and a toilet block (with basins and proper flushing loos). If you want to venture out in search of eats, pub meals and seafood suppers are five minutes’ drive away in Church Bay, and a little supermarket 15 minutes away in Cemaes.
