Beautifully clean and spacious Shepard's hut, so very well themed with great attention to detail , lovely friendly hosts, loved all the animals and the view and seclusion was amazing. A good distance from the next hut, at least two full fields away, so we felt like we were the only ones there, visited the nearby town of Ruthin, which was historical, pretty and well worth a visit. Came home after two nights relaxed and very happy - very good value for money

Absolutely delightful place!! We arrived in the pitch black but found it very easily. The hut was beautifully furnished, when we woke this complemented the absolutely breathtaking views on what was a very cold winter morning but the hut was very warm and cosy. I will 100% recommend this stay and will most likely be returning for a longer stay to take in some more of the Welsh countryside.

The hut was lovely and had everything that we need for weekend getaway. The land was so peaceful and there were alpacas nearby. We arrived late a night and took the wrong turn at first but once we got on the right path it was easy to find. Would recommend if you're looking for quiet time off.

The Peacock Shepherds Hut was amazing. The views are incredible and the hut was really comfortable and well thought out from the lovely Peacock details to underfloor heating. The facilities provided everything I needed to enjoy a peaceful break. Fantastic place to relax and reset listening to birds and enjoying the roaming peacocks and wandering down to see the Alpacas. Carol makes you feel so welcome. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the Shepard’s hut is great and in the perfect & private location. Hosts are very friendly and the animals on sight are a fab addition too! We would definitely stay again for a little getaway.
The only things I would point out for anyone who doesn’t know the area- it is around 15 minutes each way to the local towns/shops, but this place is in the perfect location if you want to “switch off” and be surrounded by nature.
The hut has all of the essential items, such as shower gel, hand soap, fire wood, tea & coffee and salt & pepper. However, my only suggestion is that I personally think that some local produce such as some fresh milk & eggs would go a long way and would elevate the experience massively. In saying this, everything was perfect with our stay😊

What a stunning setting—waking up to glorious fields, with alpacas and peacocks roaming freely!
The shepherd’s hut was beautiful: warm, tastefully decorated, and full of home-from-home comforts. It had all the essentials we needed to make our stay comfortable and complete.
We had an amazing few days—some precious time out for my little boy, and me. A peaceful, breathtaking location… just what we needed to rest the soul.

The land and views were absolutely beautiful. It was food for our souls to wake up in the mornings to a Welsh sunrise and be met with some alpacas with our morning coffee. The peacock Shepard's hut was perfect for a glamp getaway and the facilities were more than enough for a warm comfortable stay. The goats were great fun as they just wanted to play and get some fuss. We loved it so much we want to move to the area now.

We had 2 amazing nights in the peacock shepherd hut and had lot of fun with all the animals in the farm. The weather was also pretty good so we could walk around and explore the whole farm, we also got a beautiful sunset. Carol and her husband were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this spot for anyone looking to get off grid for a while.

We had a fabulous stay at The Peacock Shepherd’s Hut! The hut is so cosy and perfectly clean. The views are incredible and it was really fun to be surrounded by so many animals. Would love to come back one day and would absolutely recommend!

The hut was perfect, really cosy and private with a great view! It's lovely to have the peacocks roaming around and the lamas just over the hill. Would definitley visit again.

Absolutely amazing! We loved everything about it, with beautiful views and a quiet location but close enough to a town. Everything was so well thought out! We had everything we needed and Absolutely loved staying there. Will definitely be back!

Our stay was amazing, very relaxing and peaceful just what we needed we didn’t want to leave. The hut had everything we needed, absolutely loved the way everything was coordinated inside and outside to the compliment peacocks colours. The only downfall was the weather but we went walking, exploring and into the nearby towns and made our own fun ☺️. By having bbqs 😂. The hosts were most welcoming and accommodating we will definitely be back at some point. We totally recommend this place to anybody that wants a bit of piece and quiet and space from everybody’s busy and hectic everyday lives thanks for having us both see you again soon x
