What a lovely peaceful place. No one bothers you. There's water and toilets no showers but for wild camping with consent what more could you ask for. Felt so relaxed and it's dog friendly; with lovely walks and close to Woodbridge etc. I didn't want to leave. We found a lovely spot under some trees we had a camp fire and just totally relaxed... Bliss.. We will be back soon. Thanks for having us. Highly recommend if you just want peace and quiet and to go back to basics.

My wife and my dog and I had the most amazing time at Charlotte's camp. The views were amazing and so was our host who greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the land. My family had a great time camping at daisy May's farm, this was our first visit and our first time camping. We loved that we could pitch up where we wanted and the fact there was proper toilets and a shower. the staff were all so lovely, they really engaged with the children particularly the young girl with the horses who kept them occupied for hours and hours. I saw another young man help a family setting up their tent he seemed to have such a great attitude and all staff answered any questions we had about animals or activities. My family all loved spending time with the animals the play area was also a big hit. I can not recommend this place enough and we will be returning in the summer holidays!

7 nights at Old Litten

I don’t know the words to recommend this site more! Charlotte is a superb host, she met us on site when we arrived and gave us a tour of the whole site. She was fantastic with the children and made sure they found the swing which they spent a lot of the week on. We stayed for 7 nights in this slice of heaven and were never disturbed. Charlotte messaged to check we were okay half way through the week. Absolutely beautiful scenery from our front window looking out across the valley. The walks through the Ashford hangers really get your legs working. So many great pubs to choose from as well, but you must check out the Cricketers on a Wednesday night with their stone oven pizzas! All the items you need for a fantastic back to nature stay here and we will be coming back for sure! Thank-you for an amazing holiday!

Pitch up wherever you like, there's no marked pitches. There's a great choice from camping in the woods to a wild field if you prefer to be in the sun. Sam, the owner is very friendly and accommodating. There are no showers, however, the choice of camping locations make up for this. Great for a weekend getaway.

Had an absolutely lovely long weekend at old litten site. Charlotte met us when we arrived and showed us around. Brilliant site, everything we needed for a nice break getting back to nature. There are lovely walks around the site and then longer walks around the downs. Beautiful sunsets in the evenings sat around the fire pit. This Is well worth the visit, we have already rebooked our next visit.

We have a mid wild pitch on the outskirts of the woods, lovely grassed area between trees. Our top field is perfect for motorhomes & caravans. Plenty of space to breath and relax. Located on the stunning heathlands of the Sutton Heath. We are surrounded by beautiful woodland walks, including the Sandlings walk and just 10 minutes from the river Deben. We have a bus stop at the top of the track and Melton train station is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive. There are access points onto public footpaths, leading to Rendlesham Forest. A famous site for UFOs! Sutton Hoo is a stone's throw away. Bring your bikes and explore the area on wheels. There is water access and portaloos. We do not have showers yet. Blue/grey waste must be taken away. LEAVE NO TRACE

During the summer our site is a popular spot for families and campers visiting nearby Camber Sands sandy beach and year round we welcome all different types of campervan, motorhome and caravan. We look forward to welcome you to our little slice of paradise. Please note our strict 'no group' policy - we only accept single families, single couple and single campers. No more than 2 adults in any group, even on separate pitches. Please bring your acoustic guitar or similar but, as this is a quiet site, please no radios, stereos or videos unless you're using headphones. The birdsong here is incredible by the way! Very wet weather and winter – please note in the off-season, and if very wet, the camping field is closed to vehicles, replaced instead by semi-hardstanding areas or our summer car-park area. Facilities are open but please be prepared for the vagaries of the weather, leaves, puddles and mud. To change pitch please let us know asap so that we can try if possible to find you another. Apart from the car-park, pitches can get very muddy in prolonged, heavy rain. If you are not prepared for these eventualities please do not book.

We have a shared under cover space and also an outdoor fire-pit to gather more than 20 people comfortably. There is a simple compost loo for your use with hand-washing and dish washing area outside. And the rest is all Mother nature! There is no running water or drinking water. You will need to bring your own. No electricity points or WIFI are in the campsite and no masts nearby so enjoy the EMF cleanse. Whether you chose to stay in the ancient woodland or the herbal pasture, you will feel the benefits of reconnecting with yourself in nature, breathing the clean air and hearing the birds singing. The parking is 800m away and there is minimal tractor use so you can imagine yourself roaming the fields and forest of England in days gone by. Fitness required.
