FINNISH SAUNA
We light our authentic Finnish sauna on Friday and Saturday. you can buy a £5 Sauna Pass onsite that gives you access during your stay, If its not currently hot don't worry its less than an hour to get it hot!
CAMPFIRES
We love campfires and see them as an integral part of the camping experience. Campfires bring people together at the end of the day, to cook, socialise and relax. The smell of the wood smoke at twilight and the excitement on the kids faces when the marshmallows come out are bound to set you up for a perfect night away from the city lights! We sell crates of firewood, and hire fire pits for you to use during your stay.
MUSIC
The Lower Fields are for quiet camping. We would like it to be the perfect place for children to sleep and adults to chitchat around the campfires.
On the Upper Field and near the Centre Camp we do allow you to listen and enjoy any music. But please respect your fellow campers! We want everybody to be able to enjoy their weekend without being disturbed. We ask for quiet across the whole site from 11.30pm.
Overall we are quite a sociable site, with things happening at center camp every weekend. and a public campfire to sit around for a few mins after your sauna. We have a great area for large family groups. We pride ourselves on helping new campers get the most out of the experience come and hay hello at center camp.

Lovely spot to pitch a tent - just on the edge of an arable field with a margin of borage - very beautiful! Great view, very quiet, and lovely to stay on such a thoughtfully managed farm.

Fantastic relaxing pod in the south downs. Very clean, with all the amenities we could wish for. Walking up to the Devil's Dyke pub was a bit of a trek, but worth it for the sunset views. Highly recommended!

I cannot express in words how beautiful the woods at Dernwood farm are, and how magical they make the whole experience. This is on top of the great setup and wonderful hosting.
We had a friendly welcome and a solid walk through of what to expect and where to camp, including a map with a lovely write up to explain the history of the site.
The breakfast at the cafe was lovely and we had so much fun exploring the woods around the site and all the hidden swings, pathways and old mine and charcoal pits.
The other campers were all very well behaved and we just relaxed for three days. The facilities are decent although a little walk from camping depending on where you end up.
We saw deer, heard owls, watched the stars and satellites with a cosy fire and even found a glowworm doing its thing on a late night walk.
We’ll be back to experience the forest camping and glamping options.
This place is magical! Thank you to Amanda and the team.

We had a lovely stay at Beech Estate Campsite. Our secluded woodland glade was quiet, peaceful, and came with its own fire pit and bench, which was a great touch. One bag of firewood was more than enough for our two-night stay. The facilities were excellent, and the whole site was well maintained. A perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, would definitely come back!

Lovely ‘wild Glamping’ set up. Off grid.
Each bell tent was equipped so that all you need to bring is bedding, food and a tea towel.
We stayed on a very hot evening so the tree cover was welcome. Plenty of shade and protected from elements. There is a little field if you want to get out from the woods (and play a little badminton). Bucket shower was great.
I also over stayed by an hour or so (thanks!) and saw just how much effort was put into the cleaning of the cooking equipment etc by the staff who were wonderful.
I did take a camping stove as I wasn’t sure I wanted to cook over a fire during the heatwave but actually I made a fire anyway as it is always fun and could have coped without.
If going in wet weather I would make sure you take decent footwear - that’s all! Thanks for a lovely stay

Lovely big pitch, great, clean facilities (both compost and flushing loos available), and beautiful tree edged site with a distant soundscape of peacocks! Being able to visit the animals each morning was a real highlight, especially meeting a day old baby goat! Log delivery available each teatime but we missed it one night and the owners were still able to arrange for us to have logs when we texted them. Thank you.

What a superb camping site! We have stayed on lots of sites and this was one of our favourites- huge pitches, clean and plenty of toilets/showers.
The local walks and ideas were fab and I can definitely say that I have never stayed on a site with a camel before!
The owners and staff were all amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you for creating a space and experience for all to enjoy!
