Received a very warm welcome to our numbered & reserved pitch. A lovely quiet site, fantastic facilities lovely clean and hot showers and toilets. So quiet at night, we stayed in our campervan on an electric gravel pitch, really enjoyed our (1 night) stay. Castle Howard is generally beautiful also!

We absolutely loved our first stay campervanning at The Duchess’s Meadow. The location and views were beautiful, and the directions nice and clear.
In fact, all the detail provided on the "about" page is 100% spot on, especially "you’ll experience the best of both worlds — the calm of the countryside and the charm of a historic spa town, all from the comfort of your motorhome."
It really is the most perfect location, set in the woodlands for countryside walks, and just a short (10 mins) walk into Buxton. With electric and water hookup too as an added bonus, not to mention the tawny owls!
We had the place to ourselves but there is plenty of space available for 2 campervans / MHs at the same time.
Can't wait to return and hopefully stay longer next time! Thank you to Nick & Rachel.

Me and my partner came here for a much needed city break by tent and it was honestly amazing! The shower and toilet are seperate facilities and both clean, there is a kitchen too with a gas stove for cooking! The site is near anywhere you'd like to drive or even walk to around the peak district, and in the actual site itself you can see all the altitude and beauty around you. The air is incredibly fresh, and the owners of the campsite are really sweet and helpful. Will definitely come back for our next trip to the peak district this summer, thank you for having us :)

Just spent three nights in our campervan at Wold Farm. We received a warm and friendly welcome and were invited to choose a pitch anywhere we fancied. It’s a nice, open site and the pitches are spacious. Toilets were clean with plenty of hot water. We knew there were no showers on site but would really have liked some!

We loved the look of the space with picnic table dotted about. Lots of water available along side the other facilities. Close to the heathland with lots of walks available. We will be back.

Ease and convenience are the name of the game when camping. Pub is super close, definitely stop by after a hike for a pint and fries. We got to view our hiking spot from our tent. The hot water showers are a dream and the toilets are clean and well stocked. Site was not crowded and campers were quiet. For context, we stayed 29 and 30 August 2025. 10/10 would go back. Take coins for showers!

Alex was super lovely and helpful, awesome guy and amazing farm. Was super nice to wake up to the animals around the chickens the sheep and the cows. Would definitely recommend and go again!!

We loved our private location , fox corner ,only campers in our field , with access to the shallow river , crystal clear water , found some crayfish , the kids throughly enjoyed.
We paid for fire wood , toasted our marshmallows and made smores .
Great location for start gazing on a clear night .
Very calming , relaxing , back to basics site but that's all you need for a great reset .

Such a lovely spot. Very idyllic and private. Pitches were a decent distance from each other which was really nice - it was nice knowing other people were around but having your own private space. Dog friendly, which was brilliant - camped for the first time with our boy. He didn't like the owls! We will be back!

We had a wonderful time at Woodsworth Exploring - our kids loved camping in a woodland, and it is well-looked after and beautiful. You do have to walk in with your gear, but they provide wheelbarrows for you to use. Emma was very responsive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to come back sometime soon!

Signage into and around the camp could be bigger and clearer for people driving and people never been there before.
