We are fortunate to call this ecologically diverse and extremely private piece of land home, and we are excited to welcome you here to explore the magic for yourself. Our 50 acre parcel would have comprised much of the maple bush for the original 400 acre farm property. The stone fence rows and laneways lined with large boulders are remnants from the days or horse drawn carriages, likely put in place hundreds of years ago. In addition to the maple bush there are several acres of cedar bush, open wild flower meadows, as well as fields dotted with larger shade-giving trees. A small half acre of the property is used to farm fresh cut flowers which you are welcome to visit. We also have a kitchen garden, 10 egg-laying hens, 2 very friendly outdoor cats, and our black lab Abby who will likely greet you with a bark (she is very friendly). In the summer months you can enjoy a handful of lakes for swimming and boating all within 10-15 minutes of our property. We are happy to share details and locations. We are conveniently located just off of Highway 10, ten minutes north of Markdale and 25 minutes south of Owen Sound. If you are headed north to Tobermory, we are a perfect mid way point if coming from Toronto, with Tobermory just an hour and a half north of us.

We have 5 multi-acre sites for Boondock camping that offer beautiful breezes off of Lake Huron and quiet private pastoral settings. Each site is groomed and offers a fire pit. You can bring up to 7 trailers into each site for a multi-trailer experience. We have approx 15 km of groomed trails to hike, trail run, walk all through Bruce County. We are close to numerous quaint Ontario towns and villages offering shops, bakeries, restaurants and more. The Saugeen River is located very close to the properties and you can rent kayaks in Paisley and go down the river towards Lake Huron. Lake Huron is a pristine great lake and we offer great beaches within 20 minute drive... Our settings are perfect for small or large gatherings and are private and secluded. Unfortunately we do not offer water, septic or hydro so your trailer needs to be self sustaining. TRAILERS and MOTORHOMES are the preferred method of camping. It is being used for Boondocking, weddings, mediation and yoga retreats and we look forward to hosting you also soon. We are pet friendly...so bring your four legged family members too!

What a way to end the camping season! We were fortunate enough to experience Spring, Summer and Fall on Carl & Marsha's gorgeous property! We also got to share it with our eldest son and grandkids and just finished another weekend with our youngest! Getting to watch the little animal family grow was an extra treat too! Baby sheep from last year are no longer babies, the babies from the spring have grown so much. Every trip was an amazing, much needed escape from "real life" and every season brought different views. SO many memories were made on this property this year and we are beyond grateful. Carl & Marsha are truly two of the kindest, most genuine, helpful people and we are so happy that we have managed to meet them and spend so much time on their property!! This place is our new favourite place. We had the pond site - 4 adults and a child plus our dog and we have decided this will be an annual family event. The site was stunning ! We kayaked and use the paddle board and swam everyday ! My grandson loved the animals and knew them by name after feeding them our daily scraps. Such a pleasure to deal with fantastic hosts !

We stayed 3 nights at the pond view site. The camp was exactly what we were looking for, quiet, peaceful and private. The RV sites are spread out far enough that you can't see the other camps. The property was clean and tidy and our site had full hook ups for our RV. Carl was easy to communicate with and responded promptly to messages. We had a mechanical issue and had to bump our reservation back and day. Carl accommodated our request without any penalties. We would stay at Carl's property again!

This peaceful property is beautifully maintained, and the pond is absolutely breathtaking — the perfect spot for a relaxing camp weekend. We loved swimming, kayaking, and taking out the pedal boat. A highlight of our stay was spotting a bald eagle, which made the trip even more special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet alternative to the busy, overcrowded parks!

Wow, now we understand why the reviews are flawless… because this site truly is perfect. We stayed at the Dam Spot for two nights and loved every single minute. The site was private, beautifully maintained with neatly mowed grounds, spotless, and just steps from the river. There’s something magical about waking up, opening the door of your camper, and being greeted with that stunning view right outside. It’s the kind of experience that instantly relaxes you and makes you never want to leave. Angela and her husband were so warm and welcoming when they stopped by with their pups, and our dog loved the visit too! We absolutely look forward to returning as soon as we can, it’s a little piece of paradise.

Large well maintained camp sites. Grass groomed . Camp site has fire ring with a pile of wood for fires. Gravel road to site with detailed instructions provided by the host.Dam site so close to the river very very private sites. Will return.

Had a great stay at natures acres. Very nice place, pond is amazing. Had full hook ups. I struggled with the sewer hook up. It’s up hill from where the camper would sit. Very slow to drain. Otherwise a great stay

Weekend Trip to Beaver Ranch

We had a lovely weekend at the Dam site at Angela and Luke’s farm with our travel trailer and pup. Very beautiful spot and lots of sun for our solar panels, crisp clean river to cool off in and lots of entertainment from the tubers going down the river. It was a long weekend so extra busy. Fire pit and great wood for purchase. We hiked in Allan Park conservation area and stopped in at a great micro brewery close by for a drink and bite. A picnic table would make this spot absolute perfection. Thanks to Angela, Luke, kids, and Nora and Lake the doggos for welcoming us, we will be back : )
