Please note when arriving that our driveway is clearly marked with our fire number on the gate and our gate is wooden and the property is completely fenced. Just be mindful and leave some for others. There is no potable water on site however, we do have an out building with toilet. Free Showers and potable water are available at Murray provincial park during open season. You can reach us 24/7 via text or cell. We are Located just off the Acadian Coastal Drive, west of Murray Corner and minutes from the beautiful Fundy shore. We recommend taking shore drive for your travels here as Murray Rd is VERY uneven. You can bring your tent, RV, van or camper and choose from 8 amazing sites. Looking to see multiple provinces?? We are in the perfect spot to see all of what the East coast has to offer. View PEI’s spectacular Confederation Bridge from the shoreline and take a drive to PEI which is only minutes from us. Mainland Nova Scotia is less than a 30 minute drive and if you’re adventurous and want to drive the Cabot Trail then you can reach Cape Breton Island in under 2 hours! Catch a Ferry to Newfoundland if your heart desires.

Welcome to "Happy Camping" We are located on the beautiful Northumberland Strait, which boasts the warmest waters north of the Carolinas. When the tide is out you can walk on the sand bars for hours. Here you will enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We are only 15 minutes from the Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia is only half an hour away if you want to go exploring. Also, you might like to try your luck fishing sea bass. Legal catch size is 50 to 65 centimeters. Our large beach front sites easily accomodate RVs and motor homes. Sites 1,2,3,and 10 are not available as they have been booked for seasonal campers. We have 10 open sites. We allow one camping unit per site. Campfires are permitted according to provincial regulations. Firewood is available. Dogs are permitted; however, they must be on a leash at all times. This working farm has been enjoyed for generations of local families. Stay off-the-grid in a cozy, rustic cabin retreat. The historic barns, deep swimming pond, sugar house, and stunning woods with trails that have 2 disc golf baskets all provide ample space, entertainment and privacy for a quiet and relaxing retreat. Learn more about this land: Come join us at the Gaylin Farms – home to four friendly goats, Newfoundland ponies, Chanticler chickens, two dogs and a cat. Stay at our completely private cabin (sleeps 3 comfortably, sleeping mats/air mattresses NOT provided) isolated within the centre of a gorgeous 25-acre forest with a private groomed c. 1.5 km walking/biking trail. The cabin is a 5-minute walk from the Trans Canada RailTrail which grants easy access for longer bike rides, runs, hikes, and four-wheeler adventures. You’ll walk through a horse pasture and a cow pasture on your way to the cabin. There is a large farm pond (10ft deep) on the property for swimming. Enjoy access to locally-sourced food, firewood (at a small fee), drinking water, a private firepit, small wood stove and our old-fashioned wood-fired cook stove. There is no electricity or running water (but we provide ample drinking water) and there can be access to a charger box so you may charge your devices or have a light at night. Bring your pets and enjoy a private retreat. The max capacity of the cabin is three people. An outhouse with double-duty bag and second luggable loo are available for all guests. Minimum stay: 2 nights. NEW ADDITION: A new room, a small annex, has been constructed to allow for downstairs sleeping and writing area. It is fully insulated with a wood stove so this area may be used year round. The annex gives one a deeper feeling of being a part of the woods.

We loved our quick one night stay at Manuel’s camping and site #2! The description of was accurate and booking simple. Tent platform was a bonus as we visited on a wetter day. There is no signage or clear way into the woods from the road so you do have to call Manuel to get him to take you back once you find the house. Once back into the woods it’s a beautiful grassy and wooded area with walking trails. Our site was out of view from others so very private and cozy! There is firewood on site and a table and chairs. Will be back again!

It is a little paradise for nature lovers. We did not have problems finding the place with Bryan’s indication. The surroundings are marvelous and the parking site is flat. The owner Bryan is very welcoming. I recommend the site without hesitation. C’est un petit paradis pour les personnes à la recherche de nature. Pas de problème à trouver l’endroit grâce aux indications de Bryan. Les environs sont magnifiques et l’endroit où stationner est plat et dur. Le propriétaire Bryan est fort sympathiques et avenant. Je recommande sans hésitation cet endroit.

Murray Beach Provincial Park is set on a long sandy beach that faces Prince Edward Island, and the water in the strait between the provinces is calm and warm. There are a few gentle hikes in the park, but mostly this place is set up to just chill. A popular campground with seasonal campers, Murray Beach Provincial Park campsites are often snagged as soon as the park booking system opens. Because of this, if you’re looking for a serviced RV spot, book as early as possible using either the Parks New Brunswick online booking system or by calling the park directly.
Turning up with your tent on the day you want to stay may secure you a spot, especially mid-week or outside of the busiest times (July and August), but get there as close to 2pm as possible when check-in starts.

When to go

Camping is only offered at Murray Beach between May 22 and September 20, and you’ll find it busiest in high summer and around Canadian holidays. Although the weather can be fine in May, your best bet for warm beach days is from mid-June onwards, as it may still be a bit chilly and damp before that. Early fall can still be hot and sunny though, and a September booking will be less busy.

Know before you go

Set right on the beach with little tree coverage, the campground can get windy. You’ll need to tether those guy ropes!
Pack plenty of bug spray. Because wetlands sit close to Murray Beach Provincial Park, mosquitoes can be a problem, especially at dusk.
You’ll need a vehicle to access this secluded park, as there are no transit options.
The park is close to the Confederation Bridge that links PEI and New Brunswick, so day trips to that province are a popular option so long as you’re prepared to pay bridge tolls.
