Welcome to your rural escape! We have 2 RV pads available for guests with septic connections and potable water. Our property is located in the southern Okanagan highlands, with sunlight hours comparable to California! As it sits approximately 1200m elevation, guests can expect temperatures to be 7 to 10 degrees cooler than Osoyoos, which provides a nice escape from the desert heat. The property is 2km off Highway 3, so you can count on no road noise and great views!

Crown land is a 5 minute drive away. Conkle Lake is approximately 50 min drive for some excellent lake fishing. The Kettle River Recreation Area is where locals go to cool down while floating the river. Mt Baldy ski area is 40 minute drive with summer activities like scenic hiking, disc golf, horseshoes, volleyball and scenic chairlift rides.
There are plenty of wildlife that come through, whitetail deer, coyotes, black bear, elk and the odd mule deer. Our local snowshoe hair and ground squirrels may give guests a surprise while having coffee in the morning. Across the road is a local park containing a small lake and marsh land, frequently the Red-winged Black birds can be heard singing.
With only 2 pads occupied at a time, guests can expect to have the property mostly to them selves. We do have a tiny home near by that our family uses recreationally. There is a communal fire pit where guests can gather and share their adventure stories from the day. Bring your camp chair, we have the firewood provided! If there is a fire ban, guests are welcome to use their own CSA approved propane fire pits.
Some local summer events include, Rock Creek Farmers Market May-October every Tuesday and Friday at Gyro Park and Rock Creek Fall Fair is the second weekend in September.
Guests will be required to provide their own toilet with septic connection and pack out their garbage, there is no garbage collection on our property.
Our sites are self check-in. We are available throughout your stay via HipCamp messages for any questions or assistance. We do have on-site assistance available in the case of an emergency or utility failure.

A natural, convenient location with on the West Kettle River! We have 300 acres w/ 1500 meters of river frontage & access to the surrounding crown land and KVR trail which runs through the property. NO REFUNDS within 48 hrs of reservations -thanks you.
Recommend arriving before dark so you don't complain in a review how hard sites are to find at night ;-) If you are looking for fully serviced campsites where the outhouse is closer than 250m, then please carry on!
The KVR trail is the access to the property from the northend. From HWY 33 South, take the turn (West) onto Tuzo Main Road (about 7km's south of Beaverdell), then cross the wooden bridge over the Kettle River and take the first left onto the KVR trail (a long, straight flat gravel road) and follow for 1900meters. Mostly wide enough for one way traffic only, so please be patient and mindful of trail users on bikes, quads and vehicles. Access on the KVR trail from the south can be variable, check ahead.
After driving down the KVR right of way about 1.2km, you will arrive at the farmhouse gates - there you will see a little sign for the campground on the tree, so keep going down the right away. Once you go another 600m or so, you will come to a homemade sign with an arrow pointing you left. Turn there and then make a quick right turn then follow the road. You will come to the large tree with a picnic table and two blue barrels marking site #10. Sites 1, 2, 3 ,4 are over at the river, the other RV sites 5, 6, 7, 8, can be any where around site 10 or in the loop.
I can always bring the lawn mower over to cut the grass and weeds, just get a hold of me.
We currently have 5 RV/Tent sites currently about 100m from the river. There are currently picnic tables with blue umbrellas for sites 1, 3, 4, 10. There is a small white table and chairs for site 2.
RV's sites include sites #4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 - I can add many more RV sites. Just need to cut the grass/weeds.
Fishing, hiking, exploring, bring your quads, dirt bikes. There's plenty of roads and trails ... Even a secret honey hole fishing spot not far away but that's hush hush only locals know about this gem. A camper told me recently he saw a massive fish (16+ inches), likely a rainbow in the Kettle.

We had such a nice time at Nicole’s. I’d most definitely recommend this cute little haven to anyone. Was super seamless, had the most adorable kitchen to do some cooking. She had some dishes, pots and pans, plumbed in washrooms. The whole friggin deal. Also there were two cats and two dogs running around periodically and that really made the experience a home run for us. I’d stay here again, hands down. Also Nicole just had really sweet and welcoming energy, absolutely adored 🎺🐛✨💖

We had such a peaceful and wonderful stay at Lazy River Camping. Our host was incredibly kind and generous and allowed us to stay until the evening the following day, which we truly appreciated. We had such a good time here, fortunate enough to have the place to ourselves and it was definitely one of the top places we stayed at during our annual family road trip. Expansive beautiful views with birds and cows to watch and frogs to catch by the river's edge. The outhouse could use emptying but other than that it was just great. Highly recommended. Thank you for sharing your lovely property with us for the night!

We had a great time camping at Arosa Ranch. A short drive from Osoyoos offered such a private and comfortable place to camp. Our five year old daughter had a great time exploring and playing in the playground. The facilities were great as well.

Wow, what an amazing place. Literally the middle of nowhere, surrounded by fields, a river and lots of wildlife including a black bear wandering through a nearby field! This is a basic (portaloo only) site with fantastic views. Be mindful that it’s down a long untarmaced farm track so suits vehicles no more than 7m.

Enjoyed the wine tasting with Ramona. We spent two nights camped in the vineyard, and although we were at the upper limit for RV size, they worked with us to find a great spot to tuck into. The area offered easy bike riding and beautiful sunsets. The valley smoke was a little rough, but that's certainly not something our host could control. The patio area is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the evening.

This place is so cute! I was very happy with it, we ended up having the place to ourselves- there’s an outhouse with TP provided and as a huge plus a little outdoor shower with hot water on demand, as well as a little hut with a sink and running water, fridge microwave and chairs/games. The host came out and welcomed us and overall it was a very nice tranquil stay

This location was lovely!
All the staff and owners were warm and welcoming. The pool, bathrooms and outdoor spaces were VERY clean and well taken care of. Although the location is at an older motel the all the employees and owners took great pride in constantly updating and cleaning spaces.
We were traveling with our toddler and it was the perfect place. It was quiet for bed time and had a large green space with shared lawn toys, a tree swing and we were perfectly located right beside the pool.
Thank you to all the staff and owners for being so kind to our family and making it an extra special cozy stay! We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Jan's for two nights and loved it!
Jan was responsive, helpful with all our questions, and all the instructions/directions were clear. My partner, dog, and I loved all the trails and swim spots around the property. The site was beautiful and the outhouse was great. We will be back!
