Chris and Nicole were great hosts. They were very friendly and responsive. Their property is gorgeous and so spacious. The highlight was the sauna and cold plunge. We will definitely be back!! 😊

Lovely couple and extraordinarily lovely acreage home. Borders a forest on a couple of sides. Quite private. The host was gracious enough to offer us electricity in our small RV. Well kept yard. The dog was a real treat.

This is such a great spot! Super peaceful, great amenities, and our pups loved the trails! Chris, his wife, and pup Harpor were super hospitable, responded quickly, and made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.
Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back if we find ourselves in the area again!

My husband and I had a great time at this site.
Chris communicated effectively, both before we arrived and while we were on site. The site was comfortable and quiet.
We enjoyed the sauna and loved playing with the dog.

The family and I had a wonderful time tent camping at Chris’. It was my daughter’s (1.5yr old) first time camping and I couldn’t recommend this place enough for a first time little camper. Single site with lots of privacy and a big yard to run around. They have their own little trail system which connects to a much larger trail in the back. I will bring her hiking pack next time for sure. Chris’ dog Harper (“Harpy” as my little one liked to call her) was a wonderful part of our experience as well. Chris let us use the washroom inside the mud room which was great and he set out a hammock for us to enjoy if we so wished. Very accommodating, kind and attentive to all our needs. We would love to come back next year for sure! Great memories made for our first time little camper. <3

We parked our truck camper with the door towards the forest. Right there, outside your door are the trails for Awenda Provincial Park. We also walked in the rural neighborhood and down to the water. This would be a great spot to make home while hiking and cycling in the area for a few days. Chris and his family made us feel welcome and helped us newbies set up camp to give us the most privacy. Having electricity was a bonus for our CPAP machines. Also a bonus were our visits from the dog which we had requested.

Nicole and Chris were exceptional hosts. They have a beautiful property and made our stay fantastic. They were very accommodating and responded to each and every message immediately. We asked if they had a grill to cook on over the fire, they did not , so Chris went and bought one anyway!. Sorry we didn’t use it, who knew of would be in the 40s and too hot to cook on the fire lol. The cold plunge was used instead !
I would highly recommend these hosts , their ad says everything and it’s true. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Chris and Nicole very polite. Offer the home they lived for basic clean up. Lots of info. on the grounds they supplied to us. Let us use a picnic table with a umbrella. Great location.

We loved our stay and appreciated all the extra amenities, the space and kindness of the property owners who allowed us to flex our timing. They kindly shared information on best places to park, great beaches and a parking pass. While we did not use the sauna this time we certainly would next go round. The space was beautiful and we positioned our camper at the back which allowed us to plug in and face the forest which has beautiful trails. The site is also located 2 minutes from blue and green single track MTB trails. There is a beautiful dog on site which the owners advised us of prior to coming and gave options of keeping dog in/out front, on a long lead or free to run about. We chose the latter and loved having our dog visits. She is extremely gentle and sweet.
The property is very well maintained we felt an excellent value. Thankyou for the stay!
