This Hipcamp is accessible by boat.

Enjoy your A frame cabin on your own private island in the international rift part of the St Lawrence seaway located between Hill island Canada and Wellesley island U.S. located in a calm quiet cove where geese and swan constantly fly in by the thousand Island international bridge. Access by your own personal boat only. Minimum 2 night stay. Glamping at its best. This location can only be accessed by your own personal boat! There is no car access and no car parking. Bring your motorized boat to get to the islands or if you are an experienced kayaker or canoeing you can leave from Ivy lea 3.5 or Rockport 7.5 km. Boats can be rented from Ivy Lea Marina and Rockport Ontario Marina. Boats should be less than 24 feet.Relax on your private island. Accessible only by your own private boat. Bring your gear for great fishing or just relax by the campfire. Great sunsets and relaxing channel views with friendly boaters passing your doorstep all day long. Situated just off the Hill island conservation to the backside and in front the Bridge authority wildlife refuge.

Camping on St.Lawrence on Spirit

A frame lodging on private island

Dan’s place in was great. The camp provided all the amenities you needed. The little sleeping hut even had hooks everywhere for your bags, etc and he provided phone chargers. All you need to do is bring food. He communication was fantastic! Would recommend!
