The Salmon river is a short 12 min walk away and the ocean, boasting amazing fishing, is a 5 min drive down the road. Elk are frequent visitors to this location so please make sure dogs are under control at all times! The vast expanse of forest surrounding the Sayward Valley provides numerous hiking, quadding, caving, swimming in several surrounding lakes and limitless adventures on the backroads.

Great place to stay 1 night.

Site 1 - Natures Hideaway!

This was an easy place to spend 1 night while passing through. I would not spend more than a day here, it definitely feels like you're in someone's back yard, and with neighbors junk nearby, it wasn't the most beautiful campsite. It was definitely nice for kids to have an outhouse and it was spacious enough for our mega Costco tent.

Great camp site on a beautiful property. Private site with a clean pit toilet. Would return for sure!
