Best place on earth! The ground are so lovely, the host is awesome and there are so many whalesss! Highly recommended :)
Nahum is the man ~ hands down. Genuine individual who cares that you have a pleasant time while staying at his property. Don’t miss out on this spot! It’s one of a kind. Strongly recommended.
My dog and I stayed in Campsite one. The host was incredibly nice and showed us around his amazing property. I got to feed the ducks, play with the kittens, get grounded in a beautiful garden, eat fresh figs and pick apples in the orchard! Exactly what I needed to recharge for a few days. Undoubtedly worth the $40 round trip ferry ride. There is however a rooster who was surprisingly nice but definitely had something to say before the sunrise ;) would definitely go back!

Nahum’s camp was enchanting. We walked to the beach and saw humpbacks breaching close to shore, walked with newborn ducklings and their mother back to the farm yard from her hidden nest in the tree roots by our camp, walked the gardens and orchard with Nahum. He helped us put up our tent and brought us a vase of garden flowers.

We had an amazing stay at Nahum's place! He went above and beyond as a host and I would highly recommend staying at Nahum's place to anyone coming to Malcom Island. The property was stunning and it was the perfect spot to stay while exploring the island.
It was quiet and gorgeous, exactly what we needed!
Near the ocean, with ducks and kitties -everything a person needs. Oh, and lots and lots of humpbacks!
It’s a little bit of a walk to the water, down/up a hill, so maybe consider bringing a wagon if you plan on carrying lots down to the beach.

Nahum has such a cool spot! Stayed in the cabin overnight and enjoyed having the stove to warm up and dry out between long walks on the beach. Spotted jumping salmon, humpbacks feeding super close to shore, and borrowed the canoe for a quick paddle over the kelp forests. Would highly recommend this guy was such a wonderful host.

The site was large, sheltered from the sun and equipped with both seating and a worktop. The next nearest campsite is just across the driveway, screened by trees. A short walk to the waterfront. Nahum was a wonderfully welcoming host, carrying water to us and even installing a zip line for our puppy so she wouldn't get into trouble with the farm animals.

Extraordinary property; terrific host. Wander in the forest, walk through the orchard, visit Nahum in his shop. Quiet and secluded, but there’s a working barrel sauna nearby. If you’re lucky you might get to taste the cider made on site.

We had an amazing stay at Nahum's property on Malcolm Island! The property was peaceful and the campsite was great. The orchard was a highlight—we loved picking and eating Nehum's fresh fruit especially the blueberries! The cozy barrel sauna gets HOT and there is the cabin to change in, for added comfort. Nehum was a great host and very welcoming. Overall, a wonderful stay, and we’re already looking forward to coming back! 10/10

This is a well named quaint property: the end of Malcolm Island. This is no glamping kind of cabin, but the host/owner Nahum was very friendly. The sauna and cold tub and outdoor heated on-demand shower and composting toilet were treats for an otherwise rustic experience. He may even offer you a taste of his craft brewed apple cider from his new orchard ~ this was top notch! Great to meet you Nahum!

Nahum’s place was amazing! He’s very generous with his space and there are plenty of campgrounds with varying amounts of privacy. It was hard to believe he’s only been there for a few years. The whole yard was beautiful. Walk to the beach was quick and easy. Highly recommend.
The host was kind and informative. He gave a detailed tour of the property and the amenities, and told us of some of the events going on all over Malcolm Island for Salmon Days!
Very quiet property, we set up a tent in the orchard and had lots of privacy and places to relax. Sadly, we didn't use the sauna or hot tub this time around, but we will on our next visit. I did grab a couple raspberries and nasturtium flowers to add to our salad from Nayams garden. The outside shower was awesome and the composting toilet didn't actually stink which is always nice when using an outhouse haha
All around 4/5 stars would recommend.

We really enjoyed staying at Nahum’s place. Nahum was warm, communicative and generous in sharing his space with us. The sauna, star gazing and nearby wildlife sightings were really special. The cabin was rustic and a cosy alternative to the campsites over the winter season. We enjoyed exploring the island’s trails and scoping for whales and birds. Thanks Nahum for your excellent hospitality. We hope to see you again soon.

It was an absolute highlight of my trip to Malcolm Island to stay at Nahum's place. It's a beautiful, peaceful property and the sauna under a clear sky and full moon was a nearly spiritual experience. Hahah! Excellent communication from the host. Fabulous 10/10.
This was possibly one of our favourite vacations ever! It was perfect from start to finish. Nahum is an incredible host! I will try and sum-up!
1. Nahum was incredibly welcoming from the second we arrived, super friendly, made us feel right at home, even invited us for dinner as we arrived pretty late. He is wonderful company!! Nahum is also relaxed and wants you to enjoy his land and the island as much as he clearly does. He was also happy for our little dog to roam around as he liked. (Pretty sure Newt our dog had the best vacation ever too!)
2. The area the property is on is amazing!! Get off the ferry on Malcolm island and be the only ones driving to the south west part of the island as everyone else drives north and you will not be disappointed!! We walked the beach 2 mins from the property around the entire south west corner of the island and didn’t see a single person. Very accessible beaches. Lots of driftwood beach combing!
3. Very well stocked property- fresh drinking water, sauna, outdoor shower, compost toilet, plenty places to set up your tent, plenty fire wood, and the best home-grown blueberries I’ve ever had!
4. Island itself is gorgeous. Incredibly welcoming. Everyone was so friendly everywhere we went! Awesome whale watching just from the beaches. Saw orcas, humpbacks and sea otters a plenty!
Thanks Nahum for an incredible stay! We are now telling our friends how amazing it was and are hoping to come back again next year!!

Awesome campsite, considerate hosts, we loved the sauna.
I was fascinated by this awesome forest permaculture farm. The blueberries and raspberries were ripe and delicious.
Had the best sleep every so quiet and the host was great to deal with I camped but next time I would get the cabin very cool can’t wait till my next visit

We had a wonderful stay at Nahum’s place! He is so friendly and warm and he made us feel comfortable and welcome. The property is an awesome example of life on Malcolm island. The slow life, growing and harvesting from the land and building beautiful functional spaces from scratch. The sauna was a highlight for us as the evenings have started to cool down. We would love to visit again.

It was great to be able to use the sauna and outdoor shower. I think that camping in a tent in the orchard would be delightful however we were in a camper and this did not work as well. The forest sites did not feel inviting so we camped near the orchard by the side of the driveway. It was a short walk down to a wonderful beach which was nice.
