We set up camp in the back location and it was a nice stay. Great spot for pets as they have plenty of room to run around. Nice trails throughout the woods to check out. The night sky was the best! We could see every star imaginable! Would recommend!

Great place to camp. Fit my pop-up toy hauler perfectly (2007 StarCraft RT13) Well maintained with a few trails around the farm. Host was amazing! We will definitely be staying again.

This is our second year camping here to fish for salmon. It’s well run and so convenient for being able to walk to the river. Bathroom is clean and hot showers are nice to have.

I had such a wonderful two night stay at Gypsy Hill. Firewood was provided and we had the coziest little set up right under the trees. Skies were so clear and perfect for stargazing. Purple lantern was just what we needed. Thank you for the hospitality on your land!

Had a long weekend and some new gear to try out, so we decided to look to the north for a campsite. Everything was booked, not to mention packed full of people. Then my brother told me about Hipcamp, and everything changed.. We found Clinton's Ranch site and it checked all the boxes: close to where my parents were staying, dog friendly, and isolated (one campsite only). Clinton was super cool and easy to deal with. He pretty much told us we could do whatever we wanted there and walked me back to check out the site, a nice mowed area tucked back in the woods. We spent 2 nights in perfect weather, not far from modern conveniences, which is good because there are no toilets on site (not even an issue at the price per night). Just bring a bucket toilet or something similar and pack in all of your water and you are set. It was paradise for 2 days. I would DEFinitely recommend this site and I will definitely be back someday.

Weekend Trip to Gypsy Hill
My boyfriend and I stopped for one night to car-camp while passing through. It was perfect! Directions were easy to follow, even in the dark. While we didn’t stay long, the site was well kept and quiet, just what we needed. We arrived late but the host greeted us in the morning and was very friendly! We definitely recommend Margaret’s place.

Margaret’s land is beautiful! We had a very nice stay. The trails were well marked, the outhouse was clean, and the campsite well maintained. It’s secluded but was also easy to get to things if something was forgotten. There are other camp sites nearby, but it still felt private for us. The fire pit was such a nice touch. We were grateful for the firewood provided. Even with some rain, we had a great stay and would recommend or rebook this Hipcamp!

This place was awesome! Host was really nice, the site was beautiful (and dark enough to have nice stars), and the outhouse was super nice. I wish there was potable water but it was totally understandable that there wasn’t. Beautiful property, excited to come back.

This campground is great if you'd like a more peaceful environment. There are only 4 sites and each is well secluded from the others. It is easy to find of of a main road and there is a corner "bakery" super close by. The outhouse is clean and comfortable. There's also free firewood! And there is a well in the center of Honor to get free drinking water.

We loved camping at this campground! It was very peaceful and quite beautiful. The only con is that personally, our site was right next to the building in which the fish guts were kept, so it smelled pretty bad most of the time depending on how the wind blew. We weren’t at our campsite much so it was fine, but something to be aware of when selecting tent site #30.

18 ft pop-up camper
Purple Lantern was a great campsite. Well enclosed 270 degrees by Tall trees, allowing shade from sun in late afternoon. I did back a camper downhill into the site, but later discovered it is accessible as a "pull though" site from the main road.
Margaret is delightful and was a pleasure to meet. There is plenty of available hiking on her land , and she has hand built an outhouse which is SUPER CLEAN. I would gladly stay again.

I appreciated the helpful and friendly staff. They have a great store onsite, nice shower houses, a nice game room and a pool. It’s wonderful to have the river on property and just float, swim or fish! It’s also close to a grocery store (which happens to have a Starbucks inside if that’s your jam).
One thing I didn’t like is one half of the park seemed to be long term residents. It just made it feel different for a vacation spot. Additionally the tent campsites are VERY small.

Very accommodating but still rustic. Outhouse kept clean. Ample firewood provided. Nice picnic table. Very close to a small town with a grocery store and a few eateries. Some disturbance from the neighboring campsite in the middle of the night, but it could happen anywhere.

After driving for 4 hours we needed a backup camping spot quickly, we were able to I want book around 10pm and she came and greeted us in the morning.
Easy to find and setup, beautiful little spot and she provided us with firewood and information on wheee to find more if needed.
We will be coming back

We had a wonderful stay at Grpsy Hil. Our site (Green Lantern) was perfect for us. The star gazing was awesome.
Margaret is a lovely host. Very responsive and maintains the property very well
