We have a small white sandy beach that access to the old dam to provide our guest access to the river with a never-ending melody of peaceful water. While visiting, you can relax, go fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, or canoeing upstream and downstream, or you can bicycle on beautiful country paved roads, horse back ridding, visit artisans, orchards, chocolate factory, bakery, vineyards, Brewery, fresh fruit and vegetable grower, multiple farms and even eat in a few great eatery. With 2000 secluded feet on the spectacular Tomifobia river in the Eastern Townships, Riverstone Farm is the perfect camping getaway for nature lovers of all ages. Enjoy the quiet shores of the Tomifobia on site or venture out- There is lots to do in this part of the Eastern Townships minutes from the Vermont border. Hike Mount Orford, Mount Pinnacle in Barnston or the Coaticook Gorge, spend the day at the beach- Lakes Lister, Massawippi and Memphremagog are nearby or cross the border into Vermont and swim in the clear waters of lake Willoughby. There is also golf at Dufferin heights, cycling paths, shopping and quaint villages to explore. I would be delighted to help you plan some activities to make the most of your visit. A recently planted, fenced in food forest with picnic tables is the perfect place to watch the sunset as you let your dogs run free, while trails in the forest allow you the opportunity to explore the forested area by the river. A fire pit, two picnic tables with umbrellas, four Adirondak chairs, washrooms offer additional amenities to enjoy your stay. Please note that though I only accept 1 group of campers per visit so you can enjoy your intimacy in the evenings with your friends and family, you will not have exclusive use of the food forest during the day as I may need to attend to my trees for weeding, harvesting or other. Most guests leave at some point for an outing so schedules can easily be coordinated. Extras include: a $5 per pet extra charge, $5 hot coffee morning service, and $10 local maple syrup. Please note that the base rental price includes 2 people so any more (for a maximum of 6) are charged $10 per person.

Matthew was very welcoming and a great host. The site was a nice and private spot tucked away in the wood beside a stream. The tent pad at the site was a great way to get off the ground during fall camping. Also the quality and quantity of firewood Matthew has for sale is much better than what's available at the local gas stations. The walk to the site from the parking area is also very manageable.

Neil has a great place 30 minutes away from Gatineau! U get plenty of privacy on his property. We've enjoyed the sound of the water crrek at night. There is a wood heater inside the tent so the temperature was not too cold in mid october. There is a grocery store 5 min from the camp.... Very convinient. Would recommend!

We absolutely loved the suspended tent experience and secret paradise on Alex's land. It was heaven. Super private, so much space and little corners to enjoy peace, beauty and nature's rhythms. Alex is an amazing host, even the wildlife on his land are happy, playful and fun. We enjoyed watching the otter family swim all day, who made sure to get our attention multiple times. We felt safe, supported and left very inspired. We are grateful and very blessed for this experience. Thank you Alex :)

This was our second time enjoying Monique’s beautiful property. Cool nights and sunny mornings made for some amazing views of mist swirling on the lake while sipping morning coffee. The crystal clear lakes were still warm enough for swimming and small enough to explore by kayak in an afternoon. Lots of little thoughtful touches everywhere we looked.
