We had a great time staying at Camp Kyle. Natalie was very friendly and inviting. The Cabin and outhouse were very clean. There was an outdoor kitchen available with propane burners/grill. Great for heating up or making a meal. A large fire pit and plenty of outdoor space surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The wood stove inside the cabin was a perfect addition as we were able to stay warm during the night. Thank you for sharing your land with us.

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at this cabin, Close to many beautiful sites to see, We had day trips to Owen Sound, Saugeen Beach, and Tobermory! Everything was clean and well maintained, the covered Kitchen was a huge plus! Definitely remember some lanterns! We highly recommend this spot!

It exceeded my expectations what a wonderful winter get away! Natalie is 10 out of 10 when it comes to communication they had no problem bringing me another load of wood for my night as a solo female traveler sometimes I could get concerned about safety but Natalie assured me that all I had to do is message him if I felt unsafe at all which I did not absolutely amazing will be booking my next trip in a couple weeks!

It was an amazing experience! The fireplace was really cozy and kept the cabin warm and toasty during the night. The firewood bundle that came with the reservation was enough for keeping the stove running for 2 days. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely comeback during summer!

No showers. 2WD accessible. Chesley is 15 mins from Hanover with restarants, Canadian Tire, etc. and 20 mins from Walkerton with restarants and shops.

We had a relaxing time at the cabin and enjoyed the peace and quiet. It’s a beautiful place and the host was quick to ensure we were comfortable. The outdoor kitchen area was spacious and included the cook area and potable water, as well as the rainwater barrel for washing hands. If booking, make sure you bring your own light source for inside the cabin as the battery pack for the indoor lights only lasted an hour.

Heavens Acres has been a stop over since the 1850's for people travelling by horse from Toronto to Owen Sound. We have 100 acres surrounded by another 200 acres of conservation land. There is camping in the pine forest as well at the very back of the property where you will find a hardwood bush with trails. Please note that the hipcamp map shows a large body of water on the property, as does google driving maps. It is a marsh, not a lake. Google Earth shows it better. There is however, a creek and pond, but don't bring your boat. :) This is a "LEAVE NO TRACE" campsite, so please take all garbage when you leave. Please note that in the winter months. There’s a $25 surcharge. This is required for snow removal to access the sites that are at at least 1 km into the bush. We are in a snow belt area and it is very difficult to keep the sites open in the winter. Four-wheel-drive is required for access in the winter!

Very close to all the great stuff available at this part of Bruce peninsula. We share our backyard with our guests, we are very close to everything that Bruce county has to offer, port Elgin, Southampton, golf courses, different accesses to saugeen river where u can go fishing canoeing, tubing etc., supermarkets, native reserve, sauble beach and dozens of other ones…all at max 15 minutes distance… in the property you will find everything u need for a peaceful stay, hard to describe everything you will find but u can read our reviews, some of them have beautiful descriptions of what is here for you, you must love animals, since we have our pets all around, u are also super welcome to bring yours. One of the high points of here is the interaction u will have with the pets, they are all super friendly and will play with u every time they see u, they believe u r here for them, between, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits etc they will be part of your stay, this is theyr home, u r theyr guests, that’s how they think, so u must be a pet lover. Here are a few helpful things to know before your stay: Temperature & Seasons: The bunkie is available year-round and is insulated, has a woodstove and a diesel heater that keeps things warm all year round. We do supply wood, and the diesel will be filled, but you will be responsible for refilling if you run out. Also, bring some firestarters to help get the fire going quicker. If you are coming in winter or intermit weather, we are assuming you "know what you're in for" and will pack and dress appropriately to be in the bush. In winter, the road may not be plowed and could require a short walk in. Bring extra blankets for chilly nights. Washroom & Shower: A shared washroom with warm/cold shower, toilet, and an outdoor well-access tap is nearby and easy to access. Water & Electricity: There’s a tap on-site for general use (well water, not filtered). The sink in the bunkie has cold, unfiltered well water. There is no "filtered" drinking water on-site—please bring your own. The bunkie is equipped with solar-powered lighting and basic power. Wi-Fi & Cell Service: There is no Wi-Fi and very limited or no cell service. Plan to unplug and enjoy the quiet. Garbage: There are no large garbage bins and no roadside pickup. Please be prepared to bring your garbage to the dump during your stay, or you will need to bring it home with you to dispose of it, $75 charge for any left behind.

This beautiful spot was re-forested with pine a number of years ago, and was sectioned off from the surrounding farmland, which is now maintained by the mennonite community. It is 8 1/2 acres of wetland and forest, with a mown perimeter, and cool places to tuck into the forest for the night. The current owner was a special educator, and now is slowly turning the land into her homestead. There is a beautiful, spa quality outdoor shower next to a tidy and 'fancier than most' outhouse, a strawberry patch as well as wild alpine strawberries all over the property, a big dog and a small indoor cat keep her company. Here is what the land offers: -Bunkie in the Forest: A sweet 8x8 ft. space with new bunk and mattresses as of April 2023 -Strawberry Fields bunkie: an 10x12 space with a loft with a queen memory foam mattress and a main floor with a full futon and a small table -Campsites: Meadow, Forest and River spots. Close to each other, but you'd never know it! All three are chill and serene places. The property backs onto a ten-foot swimming hole in an otherwise shallow part of the Saugeen River. -RV Spot: With electric hook up ideal for RVs 30 feet and under -a connection to the organization, 'Black Folks Camp Too'! Learn more about this land:This comfortable and spacious yurt is located on the 30-acre property of the historic Paisley Mill along the Teeswater river. With three large windows, a dome skylight, and wool felt insulation, the yurt provides a wonderful "glamping" experience. There is a double bed and a single bed in the yurt along with a cooler, table, chairs, and storage space. In the future there will be solar power, but right now the lighting available is by a battery powered lantern (provided). Next to the yurt is a picnic table, fire pit, and a sawdust toilet. There are basic utensils, plates, bowls, pots and pans available in the yurt. Bring your own: camp stove, water, bedding, pillows Important to Note: The only heating source is a wood stove. You need to be comfortable using a wood stove safely to stay at this yurt.
