Enjoy a waterfront view of Lake Erie 105 feet above the water!
This quiet private area is surrounded by forest with a beautiful view of Lake Erie. It’s off the main road on a dead end road with no authorized access, situated at the back of a 12 acre property.
The camp site is ____ sqft plus a path that can be walked on through the forest (there is some private property and private areas around the camp site that should not be accessed, they will be marked)
The 5th wheel trailer with 2 single beds can be combined into a double bed. The trailer has many amenities including, a fridge/freezer, bell satellite TV, Stereo system, Kitchen with some supplies, potable water, toilet with a septic system, outdoor furniture, propane bbq, 2 burner hot plate, picnic table, and fire-pit. Many chairs to sit at both the fire-pit and deck, the trailer has a retractable awning that can be used to provide more shade for the deck
There is no direct beach access, however, the beach is 5 mins driving time to Port Bruce, 15 mins to Port Stanley or 25 mins to Port Burwell
The trailer is an older 5th wheel in livable condition, set in the forest, the trailer has signs of aging, there are animals that call the forest their home, we do the best we can to keep them out but animals will be animals it is not luxury, but very comfy, quiet and peaceful
It does have its limitations
No heat, no hot water, no WiFi, no shower, no oven, no stove, no microwave
The water pump switch has to be turned on and off during use
Some phone service providers work better than others on site
As the property is on the edge of the cliff at the back, please use common sense when close to the edge, the edges are not meant to be stood on, it is quite safe if you don’t go right to the edge
if you are looking to turn it off for a few days, get away from busy city life for a weekday/weekend or just simply reconnect with nature- this is the place!”

There is an outhouse for tenters and a Berkey water filtration system for drinking water. Additional tenting areas are available for family/friendship gatherings on the property. Should you wish to have a private gathering we will block off the property for your party members only. Here at Crossroads you will have lots of parking, and close to your teepee tent which is 7' x 7', inside your tent will be a double airmattress. We provide a full bathroom with a stand up shower which is possibly shared with other guests as we also have cabins and vintage trailer to accomodate guests like you, and a port-a-jon is on site. At the restroom you will find a drinking water hose for your water needs. An outdoor cooler is beside your tent (don't forget the ice) and a comfy bench to relax at.
Nearby you will find trails, boat launch, Oil Museum, eagle/deer sightings, grocery, local food, banks, parks. Or if ya'd just like to stay and join us at Crossroad Saloon (on property) to kick back and watch T.V. and tunes in the a/c!
If you have a well-behaved fur friend please contact myself to discuss your pets stay, we understand as Crossroads is home to 2 barncats and a puppy.

Great little spot, small, cabin. Great for two people. There is a 2nd level Bunky but it might be a little tight to sleep in. Recommend for two people Max. Very rustic, yet well built cabin. Wood burning stove was easy to use. Note pit toilet ia open to elements. Quiet, location, sweet little forest. Lots of great birds to see including woodpeckers in the surrounding forest.
Went in November for a micro sabbatical would be nice to go back in the summer. Host very attentive, and considerate. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I absolutely adored Ben’s cabin. It was so beautiful and we had the best time. The host has went above and beyond to give us guests a great experience when staying here. We were just so amazed by the property. And the touch of Christmas was the cherry on top. We plan on coming back at least once a year. We especially loved the seclusion, peace and quiet, and being right in nature in a luxurious cabin. This is the absolute best place for a relaxing trip. It definitely exceeded our expectations. And Ben is a very friendly and attentive host, and responds quick with any questions or concerns.

Second time at this adorable cabin. Very well stocked but also minimalistic. Great place to extend the camping season if you don't have a hot tent. As always really enjoyed the wood stove and the quiet and calm of the open field. Really melancholic sitting by the fire and watching the geese migration at sunset

We loved the cabin. It was beautifully decorated and clean. We didn’t build a fire because of rain but we certainly enjoyed the hot tub surrounded by all the beautiful colours and falling leaves. Ben was a great communicator. We will be back :)

A beautiful, secluded little spot. That perfect combination of feeling like you are camping within nature but with the luxuries of a gorgeous shelter and easy to use amenities. There is one other site but you wouldn't know they are there, there is enough distance. Host is very kind and communicates with fast responses.

View of the lake was beautiful with access to the beach. Host was friendly and helpful (raining during our pack up and brought garbage bags to keep everything dry). The Love Shack was super cozy and the hosts, Marilyn and Jim, were extremely welcoming and friendly. The Love Shack had everything we could possibly need, pretty much all we needed to do was pack our clothes and food.
Upon arrival, we met with Marilyn and her fuzzy little friend, Maggie (she’s such a playful cutie). Marilyn shared with us some vegetables from her beautiful garden and also had a fireplace put it in for our stay (which we were extremely grateful for) as the place was getting a bit chillier now. And Jim lit us a lovely fire to enjoy in the night so we can keep warm while enjoying the quiet under the stars. Overall, the entire stay from beginning to end was amazing and we would absolutely be going again!

We had such a wonderful stay! The property is truly special, it accommodates a big group comfortably with plenty of space, and the outdoor kitchen is so well thought out and fully equipped. The cabin is cozy and has electricity, and the showers were spotless and easy to use. We loved the private hiking trail, picnic tables, and direct access to the beach, it made the experience feel peaceful and secluded. The hosts clearly put a lot of care into creating this space, and it shows in every detail. Jon was also responsive and warm. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway.

Having access to the side by side to get our overnight things to the site was so helpful. Abraham was helpful and punctual at our check-in. The view was incredible. The dome and facilities were clean, orderly and comfortable. Highly recommend and we would love to come back! Beach access was a bit of an adventure from the site, but well worth the effort.
