We welcome any self contained travel trailer or RV's.

Our boondocking site is located in the middle of one of our private open fields. THIS SITE DOES NOT HAVE A WASHROOM. It is perfect for guests travelling in a self contained travel vehicle. THIS SITE DOES NOT HAVE A WASHROOM.
Tent camping is also welcome in this field, but guests need to bring their own portable camping toilets as we do not allow the digging of "cat holes".

This is a very private little slice of heaven that I've been pleased to steward for over 25 years.
If you love the sound of frogs singing, and bullfrogs plucking their banjo strings, red-winged blackbirds trilling, you will love it here.
The property is literally right across the road from the Mono Cliffs Provincial Park which boasts amazing trails, views and features the Niagara Escarpment.
The 4-acre pond/wetland is designated 'Provincially Significant' by the Ministry of Natural Resources and is an important part of the Nottawasaga Watershed.
This area is renowned for its terrain - the fields are rolling and the views are quite special.
You will enjoy a private firepit and private overlook at the pond with hammock. The site isn't visible from the road.
Our house is visible from the site but far enough away as to not disturb one another.
We have an outhouse with lighting that will make your stay comfortable.

You will have access to clean water to swim in (no soaps or detergents in the pond please, we also swim in the pond regularly so we might see you in there, the pond is about 40 meters from our house, no fishing in the pond, no camping within 30 meters of the pond), clean water to drink + wash dishes in, lots of safe flat parking for cars and camper vans, lots of safe flat grass for tents, a giant forest, views of a few beautiful horses doing their own thing on our pastures (do not feed them or go within the fenced off horse areas), loads of birds, dragonflies, butterflies and more!

Be sure to visit the local area, we are within a 15 minute drive of several restaurants, grocery store and the LCBO. The Kirkfield Lift Lock, Fenelon Falls, Balsam Lake Provincial Park and Lindsay are all within a 30 minute drive. There are miles of paved country roads and bike paths to explore the area. We spent 3 nights at Willowjays and it was the perfect base camp for our trip! The site is incredibly secluded, giving us all the privacy and peace we were looking for. Despite feeling so private, it was very easy to access and get our gear in and out. The farm views are gorgeous, and Renee was a wonderful, accommodating host. Highly recommend this spot if you need a quiet, convenient home base to explore the area!

Beautiful property with a few different spots to setup. We were just there for Springtide Music Fest so we were basically there to sleep at the end of the long music days. Great proximity to downtown. A more extended stay with No outhouse/water access wouldn’t be ideal but for our quick trip it worked perfect. Bob was very responsive and his son was helpful during our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 would recommend

I've stayed at Tranquil Ten a few times now as it's close to work and I commute a long distance. The land is expansive, secluded and very pastoral. Surrounded by trees and nature, it rivals a provincial park experience. Bob and Trish are lovely and very thoughtful hosts. On my most recent stay, they left a fire box with wood for me to enjoy a warm fire on a cool evening. It was an awesome experience. I look forward to more stays at Tranquil Ten.
