You can also bring your own horses for horse camping we have a beautiful new facility to accommodate almost any equestrian need. Upon arrival you can safely park your car and we can if desired carry your gear and you pack to the camping acreage via our tractor or golf cart or simply walk yourself - it’s not far. Our outhouse is near the main house - we have access to a SOLIS X for an extra fee if you need WIFI. Farm fresh eggs also available to cook over your fire from our 12 new and amazing chickens ! Free of charge ... we will do anything possible to make your stay comfy and relaxed. Please note - firewood is available for an extra fee (we prefer if you don’t bring your own since some can be infected with invasive species and we try to protect the area as much as possibles). Firewood is $6.00 a bag and typically includes starters and kindling) depending on the local supplier we use. Coming in the summer - fire pits - bunkies - GLAMPING - and more but for now - come walk / hike our endless trails lined with black berry bushes and wild strawberries along our “secret garden” and enjoy absolute privacy and solitude knowing we are sort of nearby if you need anything at all. We are new at this - just bought this amazing property but we are here to share the experience- WELCOME to our journey - we are at the first step. If you have any questions please ask ! We want to accommodate everyone as best we can :) Need a baby seat or carrier - we can help ... if you forgot your rain coat just text us, we’ll run one out to you and if you want to ride the horses as well .. just let us know your experience level and we will try to accommodate (it may not always be possible so please ask in advance it cannot be done on arrival) . We have very skilled trail guides and coaches on staff and we offer husband horses for those in the know :) We don’t have any set prices for trail rides yet so give us a shout and we’ll work it out but typically we offer lessons at - it’s difficult to price not knowing skill levels and staff required to support your experience so we hope you understand. Mostly we want you to come - unload your baggage and walk into our little slice of heaven ... we call it respite for your soul and we think you’ll think so too. Weekend Trip to 29-Acre Artistic Forest Retreat

Natalie and Seth's barn was overall a great experience! We enjoyed all the extras that were provided to us: entertainment system, well stocked kitchen, etc. The art pieces were also a nice addition too. We all slept great and warm. Our only complaint would be that the toilet smell was a little difficult to tame for us. The sawdust helped a bit but still had a faint smell in the downstairs living space so we had to vent out the barn every few hours to get some fresh air. Hope to come back soon! 2 nights at Geodesic Glass Dome

My partner and I loved staying in the dome, our dogs had a blast playing with Max and Ruby too, sweetest pups I ever met. It was amazing sleeping under the stars and the moon. It was like camping but a lot better. Mitch was very attentive and made our stay an 11/10. If you forget something civilization is close by so don’t fret. The pond and the land surrounding the dome is breathtaking. If you want to sleep under the stars surrounded by nature add this trip to your bucket list you will not be disappointed !

1 night at Foresthill Retreat

Dale's yurt-style tent was an excellent spot for us to meet up and rest for one night before our canoe trip in the Kawartha Highlands. Dale was quick to respond to my questions and went out of his way to provide wine glasses. The electric fireplace was a welcome feature on a cool night. We made breakfast at the well-supplied outdoor kitchen. The light at the outhouse was a nice touch, though it could have used some cleaning. Thanks a bunch, Dale.

We had a wonderful time here. The place was private, beautiful, clean and cozy. Dale was an amazing host - super responsive, flexible and a pleasure to deal with. If the outdoor shower setup and the outhouse can be fixed up a bit that would make it even more comfortable, but overall it was a great value for the price and I would 100% recommend this.

Highly recommended trip with Henry and his funky bunkie! I love every single minute in it. Very clean place, they provide everything you need. Just bring food. Henry is very friendly and intelligent, this bunkie he built is filled with of characters. It’ll be better if the fire pit was closer to the bunkie. It’s definitely a great place for couples and small families to spend some wonderful time at the farm.

Weekend Trip to Fifthwind

We arrived the on the holiday weekend for Thanksgiving and we were fortunate enough to get the Bunkie for an evening unrelatively short notice through HipCamp. The girlfriend and I wanted a small getaway even though we lived within 2 hours of the funky Bunkie. It was unfortunately raining and not very nice weather that evening. My girlfriend and I settled in made ourselves comfortable and we quite enjoyed our secluded getaway. A couple of times the stars broke out in the evening and it was a beautiful sight. That being said, Henry, the host give us a tour throughout his amazing property. If anybody who reads this post to the fullest, you will meet the "Doc Brown" of environmental building. What he's done with what he outsourced and is pretty mind-blowing at a construction standpoint. If you're into the stuff, Henry ia enthusiastic to share his creations. :) Henry and his wife have been amazing hosts and looking for ward to visiting again.

Wow! We came in mid October to see the autumn colors. What a great experience! First off the hosts are amazing and very helpful. The lodge itself is very comfy, the bed is super clean and comfy as well. There's enough firewood for the whole stay (2 Nights). Oh and our dog loved it as well! The place is around 20 min drive away from any nature hike, and there are plenty in the area. Highly reccomend
