The property is great for walking your dog leash free. Close to amenities and town but also feels secluded. We were so happy with the site, it ended up being the perfect spot for our winter adventure, and had the forested experience we were looking for. It was a bit of a walk to the site on the trail from where the car was parked, but definitely worth the short 1-2 minute hike to get that proper secluded in the woods vibe that we wanted. The site features a water's edge and peaceful stream.. it was beautiful. Susan and Brent were incredible hosts and brought some of our supplies in on their ATV which was very cool of them. They were very communicative an accommodating, too. We loved the property and would absolutely camp here again. Thank you!

I’ve been camping a lot over the past year, and Edges Sideroad Springs has become something truly special to me. After more than 30 stays here, I can honestly say this place feels like a second home. From my very first visit, both the land and the hosts just felt right. Brent and Susan are genuinely kind, welcoming people. Brent often stops by just to say hi and make sure everything is good, and it never feels forced—just friendly and thoughtful. Each site has its own character, but Bubbling Spring is something else entirely. Nestled deep in the forest with the river flowing beside it and natural spring water bubbling out of the earth, it’s incredibly peaceful. You hear birds, small animals, and nothing else. No noise, no rush—just calm. This isn’t just a campsite for me. It’s a place I truly miss when I’m away, a safe haven I return to whenever I need to reset.

Just a great bit of land for group camping. The field is healthy mowed grass and tree lined, with some woods that provide privacy and shade and cut out virtually any road noise (and make for great hammock camping). The ground is nice and essy for staking and sleeping on, and Chris and Denise have set up several fire pits that serve the need nicely. The site is set adjacent from the shop far back enough to have great privacy, and the hosts are wonderful. Strong recommend for group campouts when you want to be near enough to civilization while looking for a unique spot to stay that affords a feeling of isolation.

The back glen was absolutely perfect. I went in the end of September and the weather was perfect. Charles was very kind and accommodating as well! You can fish and swim in the water, as well as walk some trails along the fields. I set up a hammock by the convenient porta potty and it was perfect. The ground is very level as well for anyone with tents. I will definitely be coming back again!

Camping at Angela's hipcamp was the perfect start to our weekend of canoeing/fishing! The site was perfect! Right infront of the saugeen river. You can fish right at your site if you like fishing, just a few steps down to the shore line. There was a picnic table provided, which was fantastic! The fire pit is set up right under a clearing where you can see millions of stars on a clear night, it was beautiful and so peaceful. Nice even ground for your tent. Very relaxing atmosphere and as felt very private. Its a beautiful property. We added firewood to our booking, we definitely recommend doing that! We couldn't believe the amount of wood she left right on site for us! It burned so nicely and there was an abundance! She made our trip so easy and so relaxing! We will absolutely return with our kids next time! Thank you so much for a perfect night!

Weekend Trip to Tranquil and Private Camping

The Site was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. It is kept amazingly well and was the perfect spot to relax for the weekend. The goats are a lot of fun and I really recommend taking some time to go feed them if you can. We hope to be back soon!!

Nice little quiet an isolated spot. Good tree coverage which helped keeping us dry when it started raining. There is a convenient firepit. We went in fall so didn’t swim, but the river is great. Possibility to go for little hikes
