If you are coming in winter or intermit weather, we are assuming you "know what you're in for" and will pack and dress appropriately to be in the bush. In winter, the road may not be plowed and could require a short walk in. Bring extra blankets for chilly nights.

Weekend Trip to Maitland Shores Resort

Nice place, host is very friendly and helpful. What a fantastic spot for a camping trip! We absolutely loved our time next to the river. the river view was so relaxing, and it was perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring. The kids had a blast skipping sea shells and spotting little fish. Evenings were magical, with campfires crackling under a sky full of stars and the gentle murmur of the river in the background. The setup was great, offering just the right balance of feeling immersed in nature while still having convenient access to everything we needed. We're already dreaming about our next visit to this riverside paradise. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and refreshing camping experience!
