Heavens Acres has been a stop over since the 1850's for people travelling by horse from Toronto to Owen Sound. We have 100 acres surrounded by another 200 acres of conservation land. There is camping in the pine forest as well at the very back of the property where you will find a hardwood bush with trails. Please note that the hipcamp map shows a large body of water on the property, as does google driving maps. It is a marsh, not a lake. Google Earth shows it better. There is however, a creek and pond, but don't bring your boat. :)

There's open fields, forest, wetlands and paddocks full of all sorts of animals. Towards the back, there's several small ponds and a river that runs through the property. Located in the north east corner of Sudbury, in the town of Hanmer, Ontario. Sudbury is known as the Blueberry Capitol. The small mining town has grown into a good sized city which is situated in a crater. It's prime location is a haven for geologists, blueberry pickers, snowmobilers, and fishermen. Site 2 is fairly level and grass area. Back in only. Site 3 is fairly level and grass area. Back in only. Site 4 is also fairly level and grass. It is pull through and offers a view of the lake. There is plenty of room to park tow or pull vehicle. Should one need there are leveling blocks available to use located to the right of site 2. The sites now have numbers either on the power posts or the panel box for ease of locating your spot. At present three of the sites have water feed from our home with potable water via garden hose. You may need to connect your hose to the supply line to reach your unit. When weather permits, early spring and late fall may not be available.

We have several things located nearby, and a creek as well on our property on a property.. a short distance from us is our tourist town in Eganville, which has several restaurants walking areas shopping in Bonnechere caves and boat launching as well near us at Lake clear.. we also would offer different services. We have four sites with 30 amp RV power. Site 1 is in our opinion the best site but not the easiest to get in with a larger rig but have had a 43 ft unit in there. Site 2 is fairly level and grass area. Back in only. Site 3 is fairly level and grass area. Back in only. Site 4 is also fairly level and grass. It is pull through and offers a view of the lake. There is plenty of room to park tow or pull vehicle. Should one need there are leveling blocks available to use located to the right of site 2. The sites now have numbers either on the power posts or the panel box for ease of locating your spot. At present three of the sites have water feed from our home with potable water via garden hose. You may need to connect your hose to the supply line to reach your unit. When weather permits, early spring and late fall may not be available.

Pets are not allowed – there are animals on the property. The property does not have potable water. Campfires are allowed. RVs up to 45 feet in length can be accommodated on a pull-through site. The grassy surface will require levelling. There are no hookups, and generators are not allowed. The town of Bobcaygeon is less than 10 minutes away, located where the river connects Sturgeon Lake to Pigeon Lake, the next lake over to the east. You can find restaurants, shops, and services here. Nearby attractions include Emily Provincial Park at the bottom of Pigeon Lake, and Balsam Lake Provincial Park and Indian Point Provincial Park, which both sit on Balsam Lake about 30 km to the northwest.

There's open fields, forest, wetlands and paddocks full of all sorts of animals. Towards the back, there's several small ponds and a river that runs through the property. Located in the north east corner of Sudbury, in the town of Hanmer, Ontario. Sudbury is known as the Blueberry Capitol. The small mining town has grown into a good sized city which is situated in a crater. It's prime location is a haven for geologists, blueberry pickers, snowmobilers, and fishermen. Southwestern Ontario

Ontario’s southwest corner borders both Lake Erie and Lake Huron, between Toronto and Detroit. You can visit Canada’s southernmost point in Point Pelee National Park and tour the small wineries that cluster around the towns of Kingsville and Leamington. The popular beaches and campsites of Pinery Provincial Park are along Lake Huron’s southern shore.

Central Ontario

Encompassing the city of Toronto, Rouge National Urban Park, the Niagara region, and the Muskoka Lakes—known as Ontario’s “cottage country”—Central Ontario also includes Algonquin Provincial Park, one of Ontario’s most popular canoe camping areas, and Bon Echo Provincial Park, where more than 250 indigenous pictographs are preserved on rocky cliffs.
