Learn more about this land:The Rustic Cabin is for those looking for something different. The cabin is off the grid. Oil lamps, wood stove, outhouse, hand pump at the kitchen sink are just some of the amenities that make this property unique. Total privacy surrounded by nature and a beautiful river. PLEASE NOTE as of DEC.1/20 - You must be a camping type of person. You must drive a 4x4, all-wheel drive, or front-wheel drive with good winter tires. You will have to walk in. You will need to haul water. We do have a sleigh. The Rustic Cabin is a wonderful place to really get away for rest and relaxation. The front of the cabin is an open area of living room, dining room, and kitchen. Sliding glass doors open up onto the porch with comfy chairs and a swing. The kitchen is well equipped. We ask you to bring bed linens and towels. There is no hydro at the cabin. Lighting is provided by oil lamps. There is a hand pump at the kitchen sink for water except in the winter. We suggest you bring your own drinking water or you can pick it up at the main house. Staying here is a very unique experience!!!!! No smoking inside the cabin. Long weekends are a three-night rental. We do not allow pets.

Enjoy the cafe table set for two underneath your shaded pergola by day and twinkle lights by night. Your campfire also is conveniently equipped with two chairs so you can pack light. The evening skies are amazing. Dusk brings the burst of multi colours reflecting on the water and the dark invites the breathtaking dancing stars. During the day you will want to put your toes in the sand or take a dip, be sure to bring a floatie or water noodle for your swimming enjoyment. Kayak or canoes are welcome too. THE SPACE is an open green field with large mature Pine and Cedar trees through out. Enjoy the Private Friendship Beach with seating already there. There is only ONE pergola camping site for you to book. Limited to two people and no pets. We also welcome the single person who is looking for a safe space. The flush toilets and hot showers are a short walk over frog bridge. THINGS TO DO HIKE the forest trails or rent a kayak at Restoule Provincial Park COOK on an open fire or dine at Bucks Lodge. Maple Rivers Log Cabins

Like a private little resort, we are excited to offer 3 off-grid log cabins, providing a highly private setting. 20 min to Parry Sound. Address is 261 Star Lake rd. Seguin. Its the second driveway when going north on Star lake rd. Look for a sign MAPLE RIVERS LANE. From Hwy 400, get off on hwy 141. Go east towards Rosseau. Turn left at Tally Hoe/Swords, then right at Turtle lake rd and left at Star lake rd. These cabins are located within 75 acres of forest and hay fields. Each cabin features either two single beds or one king-size bed (bed sheets only). While there is no hydroelectric power, the cabins are equipped with lights, fan, 300 watts inverter and and 12 volt car chargers to charge phones or other personal devices. The accommodation is limited to two adults per cabin. Additionally, we have three tent spots available, with one designated for each cabin. There is ample parking space for guests. You can enjoy the convenience of a shower with hot water and a BBQ pit. Explore the various trails for hiking, mountain biking, and even a small white water creek. There are plenty of lakes in the surrounding area. Seguin Trail is just 1 km away. A beautiful sandy beach awaits you only 4 km from the site. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the nearby historic town of Orrville.
