Golden Ears Glamping is a forested riverside getaway that has has two types of stays: The Cabin-like self contained suite with private entrance and your personal hot tub or the riverside self-contained Glamping Tent with seclusion and a personal 2 person tub. 1. The Bear Suite, attached to the house that has complete privacy. Private entrance, hot tub for two, and deck with personal BBQ. and personal lounge area. Walls are double and ceiling is soundproofed. 2. Rivers Edge, a riverfront (Alouette River South) glamping tent that is elevated in the large cedars overlooking the river. Personal kitchenette, full bathroom and outdoor shower. We have one Glamping tent and is completely private and is away hidden from the main house but close enough for anything you request. We affectionately call this place “The Tardis” because its transformation from an RV, gutted into a modern cozy hi tech space with a cozy county feel, an outdoor kitchen / living / dining / hot tub areas in a forest setting. It’s got super high speed Internet, 2 TVs, a faux fireplace. Inside a live edge old growth cedar counter with Italian tile, modern connected features, fireplace, heat pump, flooring and great feel. Private inside a 5 acre estate with grounds and a private forest. Everyone loves this space. Tech wise there is super fast ethernet straight to the unit at around 600 download for zoom calls. There is also a super fast wifi for exclusive mobility, 2 flat screen TVs, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus. The space is really idea for 2 people however there are 2 bunk beds in a smaller space that could accomidate smaller children or other smaller stature adults that don't mind a small bunk bed sleeping area. A lot of remote worker like this place. It's faster and quieter than home surrounded by nature. We've focused on the outdoor area covered and private decks outside giving it the feel of an outdoor living, complete with a new BBQ, outdoor living room / seating area / kitchen. There is a private soft tub for comfy soaks.

Greg and Shelly are extremely kind and have such a beautiful home! Very clean and LOTs of appliances and fun things to do in and on the property. They had dry firewood ready for use and the hottub was hot and well kept. We had hummingbird visitors and were able to go down to the river and see salmon swimming! We used the bbq that was full of propane also. We are returning guests and highly recommend visiting! They were so generous to invite us to stay longer past the check out time as there were no guests after us so we enjoyed being able to sleep in and pack up without rushing. Very happy to be up in such a gorgeous area. Don’t hesitate to book with them!

Very convenient location that is close to lots of mountain biking and good restaurants, breweries and wineries. Steven, the host is a very nice guy and super helpful and easy to work with.

We absolutely loved staying at Greg & Shelly’s! As we entered their very private driveway, It felt like we were going into a movie. There were cute little white figures hiding on the trees all the way to there house. And the tent was beautifully set up. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was tiny but had everything we needed. Outside shower was very romantic. It was great taking a warm shower in the forest. Private access to river was amazing bonus. Shelly and Greg were really really nice. We will definitely be back!

1 night at Secluded Forest Oasis, Maple Bay BC

Calm Chaos Forest Retreat is a very unique property located down a calm and peaceful road in beautiful Maple Bay. With a few acres to explore, the property offers enough space to go for a walk in the forest, visit the neighbouring cows and resident wildlife, have a fire by the pond, or simply relax in the passionately renovated trailer. The trailer itself has all one could need, with a comfortable bed, kitchen, running water, TVs, AC, etc. Within the trailer’s fenced courtyard, there’s a hot tub, lots of covered and uncovered patio space, a bbq, and more. The yard itself is an open air museum of sorts, with lots of statues and memorabilia to take in, made clear by the two large parrots that greet you when you arrive at the property. And speaking of parrots, there’s four real-life, living macaws co-hosting alongside the charming human hosts, Steven and Mimi. The macaws are not only beautiful, but full of personality. Nearby Maple Bay offers a nice beach to swim and relax at, as well as a pub, hiking trails, and disc golf. Overall, Calm Chaos is a really eclectic place worth a visit.

This property is the most magical place with the river flowing through and a pond steps from the bear suite. You could spend all day sitting by the river watching a nearby owl family and tiny fish in the river. Greg and Shelley were amazing hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. An absolute dream little getaway! Such an incredibly beautiful spot, and only an hour out of vancouver. Cosy tent with all the facilities you need, and not even the pouring rain could dampen our experience. Greg and Shelley were super friendly and helpful. Absolutely will be recommending to our friends and hopefully stay here again ourselves in the future :)
