We are a family living, working, and playing on the unceded territory of the Hul’qumi’num-speaking and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples. Sharing this space allows us to continue to adopt an attitude of stewardship rather than ownership. Respecting each other’s space is essential. There are two cats and two dogs on the property. The geodesic dome that is home to our guests is private and has everything you need to sleep, keep warm, and prepare food. There is no running water inside the dome. An outdoor sink for dishes is located not far from the dome. This is a shared space. Drinking water is provided. Everything else is available by request—don’t hesitate to ask. We are a 10-minute walk to the ocean.This dome is on the upper are of the property on the edge of the forest. It is a 20ft geodesic dome with a clear full window and skylight letting lots of natural light in. The dome has a double bed and a single bed/couch. There is lots of floor space for setting up extra beds if needed. There is a toaster oven, single burner, kettle and mini fridge. There is an outhouse and handwashing station next to the dome but no running water or shower available. We are a short 5 minute walk to the ocean. Also various forest trails.

Upper Dome

We had a great time at Jimena’s glamping spot on Galiano. It’s only a 15-minute drive from the ferry terminal and was definitely worth the money. You can tell the hosts put a lot of thought into the place, especially with the furniture and the artistic design. The bedding, pillows, and linens were all super comfortable, and the toilet was clean, and aesthetic for a campsite. The dome also had a mini-fridge, fireplace, and Wi-Fi. Plus, the hosts were really easy to talk to and seemed very chill. Highly recommend!
