We have a 7 acre developing hobby farm currently with fruit trees, a garden, a king shepherd named Jack and a cat named Lulu. You may see some of our neighbour's ducks walking around and hear their rooster in the morning.
Please note; our driveway is an uphill, switchback driveway so long trailers are not a fit for our location. Front wheel or 4 wheel is a plus but typically all vehicles can make it up our driveway.
We have 2 swimming holes near and backing our property. At the back of the property is Hayward Lake/Hairsine Creek which is great for swimming. Inflatable paddle boards are the way to go if you wish to paddle board in the lake since it would be difficult portaging a rigid paddle board down the Crown Land trail. On the front is the Stave River Runoff. This has trails and is ideal if you have smaller children as the water is a bit warmer and has shallow areas.
There are hiking trails in the area and a beach area a short drive from the sites.

Enjoy the beautiful acres right on the Chilliwack River! A wonderful family-friendly (including pets!) getaway with endless activities nearby. (no pets allowed for glamping)
Our campsite is available in the spring and summer and is just 20 minutes from the city of Chilliwack, BC. We provide a fire pit and campfires are allowed as long as there is no fire ban. (then you can have a propane campfire)
The sites are quite private but there will be other campers nearby. We try to keep a large amount of space between sites and some are separated by trees. We are a walk in tent only site- parking is very close, 30 second walk.
We can also provide access to electricity so you can charge your phones or other devices if needed. There is no cell reception, but we do have wifi.
Potable water is available. We supply natural spring water but you must bring your own jug.
We live in an adventure playground! Activities nearby include hiking, white rapid river rafting, fishing, watching bald eagles, Cultus Lake water slides and adventure park, mountain biking, cold plunge and sauna retreats, and more!
The stargazing at night is beautiful as there is no light pollution here.

Nestled in the pristine Nahatlatch Valley between the Nahatlatch River and Fraser River. Washtock Family Campground offers rustic camping from tents to RVs. We are an ATV friendly campground with ride in ride out accessibility.
The campground offers pull through RV Sites with non-potable water and septic connections. We are off grid so we have no power/electricity connections but allow generators.
We have space for big groups or just a quick get away for two, we can accommodate you.
We have flush toilets and outhouses as well as a hot shower for guest use.
We have a small store on site with your regular camping goodies, Ice, seasonal vegetable, as well as farm fresh eggs and all natural free range beef from our farm.
We are located 13km north of Northbend which is across the river from Boston Bar BC. Once you reach Boston Bar you will Turn left at the Esso and cross 2 sets of railroad tracks bringing you into Northbend, from Northbend there is about 6km of paved road after that there is 6km of gravel road until you reach our campground.
Past our campground is the beautiful Nahatlatch provincial Park which contains Francis lake, Hanna Lake and Nahatlatch Lake. The lakes offer an abundance of activities such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and paddle boarding. The first lake is about a 15-20 min drive again on gravel road. 2 wheel drive accessible until 21km on the forest service Road after 21km you will need a 4x4, if you plan to travel to Grizzly falls or the 3rd Lake.
There are many hiking, biking, horseback riding and ATVing trails in the area.

We strive to provide a place to enjoy the peace & quiet of nature, so it's not a place to party or have music loud enough for any neighbours to hear.
Nestled in the heart of the Tamihi Recreational Area, just 20 minutes from town, our property offers a rare blend of seclusion and adventure. Surrounded on three sides by lush, moss-draped forest and bordered on the fourth by the stunning Chilliwack River, it’s a true nature lover’s paradise.
Enjoy a spacious riverside beach, great for swimming during the summer and fall & has world-class fishing. The area features Class I–IV rapids, ideal for whitewater kayaking, with Chilliwack River Rafting just minutes away.
There isn't river access at the sites. The stairs to the beach are through the covered picnic shelter. There is now a light wire fence along the river in riverfront sites for some protection because of the drop-off & undercut banks (not shown in the pictures).
We have an endless network of trails and logging roads, perfect for ATVs (ride directly out of our gate), hiking, and biking. Whether you’re seeking adrenaline or tranquility, this property offers both.
ATV's are idle in - idle out only.
QUIET, well-mannered, leashed pets are welcome if you pick up after them.
LONG WEEKENDS are a minimum of 3 nights.
CHILDREN MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times!
FIREWOOD is $9. for a large feed bag full & is available between 8 AM and 8 PM.
BEEF and EGGS: We have grass-fed Black Angus beef for sale and we occasionally have eggs from our pastured chickens.
Our free-range kind, gentle horses also wander the property. Any interactions with them are at your own risk! The gate must be kept closed because of them.

Zender camp is located in Deming and is surrounded by beautiful views of the Nooksack River, Kendall Creek and mountains. The Campsite has Kendall Creek on one side and the north fork of the of the Nooksack River on the other side. In the distance you can see White Mountain, Bald Mountain and Church Mountain. Fisherman will appreciate that the Kendall Fish Hatchery is a neighbor to our campsite and 3 C’s wedding and event venue is less than 1/4 mile away!
Some of the many activities you might enjoy while staying here are fishing, eagle watching, hiking, camp fires, stargazing, and just being in nature to rejuvenate and relax. There are also many things to do nearby! We are less than a quarter mile from the North Fork brewery and 3 C’s wedding and event venue. We are 45 minutes from the Mount Baker ski Lodge and 9 miles away from the town of glacier.

Our 28 acres are located in between maple falls and glacier, Wa, directly on Mt Baker Hwy on the way to Beautiful Mt Baker.
Ben and I run a chemical free farm, on which we raise 7 and 1/2 acres of veggie and flower. 15 acres of pastureland on which we raise pasture raised chicken, as well as biannual lamb and beef.
The remainder of our land is breathtaking pacific northwest forest that is boarded by the Bay to Baker trail.
Our campsites range between walk in wooded sites, and car camping sites that are open field sites next to the tree line. We provide wagons in our cart corral area to make it more convenient for the very short walk in. ( no more then a 200 foot walk in)
We have a very nice composting outhouse and hand-washing station. We do not have water for drinking or a dishwashing sink. but if you are in a pinch just ask Ben or Tyne and we can help you out.
We want all of our campers happy, comfy, and to have the best time here. :)
We have a beautiful cedar grove to enjoy for lounging and picnics. The Bay to Baker trail borders our property, so it is just steps away and includes a 45 min round walk to a quaint little waterfall (maple falls). As well as a nature loop trail. You can also walk the other direction on the trail over a boardwalk. This direction walks along the back of the farm and allows you to see the veggie fields from a distance. Yofu can continue on the bay to baker trail for a nice walk.
There is a conservation area, just a quarter mile drive down the road. With access to the Nooksack river, that includes several nice swimming spots and a couple nice walking trials.
Silver Lake is just 3.8 miles away. It has a great recreation area, fun for the whole family.
Just a heads up , you will probably lose service on your drive up here. But you will get service back when you are here.
We suggest putting the map in your phone before you leave. Google maps will take you just past the farm, and apple maps will stop you too soon.

We had a great time camping at the property this spring! The hosts were kind enough to let us switch to site 1 so we were closest to our friends in site 2. This ended up also being super helpful as those two sites face the farm so we could see the kids from the campsite as they played.
Having access to the farm after hours was such a great addition to our camping trip - the kids loved visiting the animals, navigating the maze and riding the peddle cars, etc.
The hosts were responsive and welcoming. Helpful also to be able to buy firewood from the host as we were traveling across the border and couldn’t bring it with us. The bundles were at our campsite when we arrived.

There was lots of animals like a goat we saw coming in, a horse, and LOTS of chickens. The cabin was lovely and Micheal was very nice. 10/10 LOVED the big bathtub outside, after a day at the lake to be able to relax and warm up surrounded by the trees and stars was so much fun.

Beautiful campsite, host was very responsive to my questions. They provided picnic tables & fire rings. We were there for the Easter weekend & they placed daffodils on the picnic table as a welcome….very nice touch! They came by once to check in & see if we needed anything, super friendly people. We had the entire space to ourselves & had lots of room to set up our 5 trailers with plenty room to spare. We had access to the beach/dock area so we could use our kayaks in the slough. Only downfall was the trains at night were a bit loud. But overall the site was fantastic!

Weekend Trip to Hayward Trails Camping
I would absolutely recommend Hayward Trail camping. Leah and Caleb were great, always so fast at communicating with me which is a bonus! They showed my son and his friends the trail to hike to get to Hayward Lake where they enjoyed their time fishing. The spring weather was too cold to swim , but it would be great for swimming in the warmer months! The trailer and surrounding areas had everything you needed., just bring your food and bedding, it was perfect! They will for sure be back to enjoy more outdoor camping! Weekend Trip to Mixed Barrel Farm
Awesome little getaway, Leah and Wayne are super friendly and have a beautiful property. Had a blast hanging out with the animals and exploring the area. Close to the river for a nice walk as well! Highly recommend.

10/10 for me!!
We had such an amazing 2 night stay at the Cozy & Unforgettable Lakewood Cabin. We are a group of five and it was such a great experience.
The host is so friendly and accommodating. The horse, the goat, the chicken, and the baby ducks were all wonderful.
Would definitely come back again!

We had a great time camping at Rachel and Andrew's place! It was a great set up and appreciated the use of the outhouse and fire pit. Very close to the Lake and trails etc. We would definitely stay again!

2 nights at Mixed Barrel Farm
Our glamping experience at Mixed Barrel Farm was the perfect spring getaway. The trailer accommodation felt more like a tiny home or small cabin with its many amenities, including a full kitchen, big screen TV, bathroom with shower and comfortable queen size bed. To us backpackers, it felt like a 3-star hotel.
But actually so much better than a hotel because we were on a farm, looking out on peaceful fields lined with pink cherry blossoms and willow trees. We met all the animals--goats, lambs, ducks, chickens and friendly cows, as well as the beautiful labs and two black cats. It seemed like a big, happy family.
Our goal was to get out into nature and this was so easy to do since Mixed Barrel is literally steps away from the Vedder South Dyke Trail along the Chilliwack River. We also visited the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve (13 min. drive) to see the herons nesting across the reserve's South Lagoon. Awesome experience! From there it's an easy wander down the Vedder Rotary Trail which has many river views and access points.
In addition to the homey farm and stunning nature, our hosts, Wayne and Leah were extraordinarily friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We could tell how much their heart and soul went into making this lovely place. We really enjoyed farm fresh eggs for breakfast and took home a roaster chicken to feast on later.
Hopefully, we can return in the fall and see that colourful season at Mixed Barrel Farm!
