We are located on a beautiful farm with lots of animals to see! Our property is in Black Creek, BC.
We have one private site available for tent and RV/trailer campers. The site is level and grassy and it can accommodate vehicles up to 30ft in length.

We ask that you conserve water and keep the Wash House clean.

This cabin is located on a remote island and is only accessible by water taxi, private boat, float plane charter, kayak or canoe. The water taxi runs Monday, Wednesday, Friday in the summer months and costs $140 per adult one way. It is not unusual to see whales and other wildlife on the journey to Read Island on this boat trip! Located a 10 minute walk from the ocean, this private tiny home cabin offers visitors a unique authentic off-grid island experience. Explore the ponds and enjoy special nature trails. Relax in nature and savor wild life observations. Connect to nature during beach visits, hiking trails and swimming at the lake.
The tiny home features a queen bed in the loft, twin bed downstairs, outdoor hot shower, full kitchen with bar fridge and propane range. A sauna (if fires permitted) composting toilets and outdoor showers are available.
Use the tiny home deck to gather and eat under the sun and stars. Relax in the comfy patio furniture or chill out in a shady hammock. Campfires are allowed in the fire pit when permitted.
Add - ons : Organic sourdough bread, firewood. The hosts are willing to help coordinate a unique stay including boat transport (Way West Water Taxi from Campbell River), food shopping, baking, etc at an agreed cost. Please contact us if you would like any add ons well ahead of time.
Activities:
Explore the Discovery Islands through boating, fishing, or wildlife tours. Paddle sports like kayaking and paddleboarding offer opportunities to deeper connections to nature and wildlife.
Located 3 hours paddling from Quadra Island, and 2 hours by water taxi from Campbell River, this property is located on a totally off grid remote island. The land is located in a quiet residential neighborhood of private acreages which are mostly forested.
Other things to note : this property is in a remote location with no stores or medical services.

You come and stay in our 5th Wheel RV . Outside the RV is a small deck with a table and 2 chairs that you can be used. Most of the area is protected and therefore you cannot camp inside the protected area. A minute walk will allow you access a creek. The creek subdivides our property into 2 halves. Beyond the Cree, Some areas are very steep and challenging to climb.

Both Susan and Tony were amazing hosts. They were always quick to answer any questions and were incredibly kind! We did end up booking a tour with them of their place which was truly spectacular and original. Me and my parter have already discussed when we will return next. We will be forever thinking about our conversations with them both sharing our love for the environment and dogs:) Looking forward to our next visit!

We had the best experience at strongwater cabins. The cabins are cozy and picturesque, with all the essentials. An electric kettle and mini fridge made our experience so much better, since we were able to store our food and enjoy hot drinks on the chilly autumn nights. The cabin comes with an electric fireplace that kept us perfectly toasty as well. Hot showers and clean bathrooms and area to wash our dishes was so convenient! Cheyenne has put her heart into the property and it shows. The hosts are super accommodating! We even got to use their canoe and paddle out on Waugh Lake, and check out their infrared sauna. The cherry on top is the delightful animals that live on the property. Geese, chickens, mini ponies, guinea fowl, and more. We explored the Skookumchuck trail and checked out the amazing whirlpools. Every inch of this forest is beautiful, made better by our time at the cabin. We will absolutely return! A 10/10 experience.

1 night at Private & Peaceful Escape
I had a great stay, and it really is a private and peaceful escape! The bed was super comfy, and the big windows look out onto Katie’s beautiful garden. The kitchen is well-equipped with all kinds of gadgets: an Instant Pot, air fryer, toaster oven, hot plate, microwave, coffee maker, and kettle 😄. The electric fireplace adds a cozy vibe when you’re relaxing on the couch at night.
It was lovely meeting Katie and her absolutely adorable toy poodle, Rico. The suite is a perfect base for exploring the area, and I would definitely stay here again!

2 nights at Strongwater Camping and Cabins
We LOVED staying at Cheyenne's Treehouse Cabin. We stayed in cabin 2 for 2 nights and it was pure perfection. It truly felt like you were in a treehouse among the trees. The whole property was gorgeous and miraculously upkept. The heater kept the cabin warm at night, towels and loonies for showers were provided. Close to Skookumchuk Narrows and Skookumchuk Bakery and Cafe (the cinnamon buns are a MUST). Would absolutely recommend for a friend.

We loved the open-air experience of our glamping tent, located near a beautiful stretch of beach near Oyster River. We walked our dog along the community trail every morning, and we spent many evenings on the beach. The tent ambiance is cozy, with a cushy bed, armchairs, and even braided rugs on the floor. The "kitchen" is very basic but supplied all we needed.

Oh my god, what a lovely experience! As a LOTR nerd, I was delighted at the theme. :) The site was peaceful and quiet, the doggies were so friendly and welcoming, and every detail was thoughtfully designed. For me, this was capital G glamping. There was a very clean flushing toilet outhouse with all amenities you’d need, the shower was so amazing - think, steamy cedar, cool island air, fresh fluffy towels. The outdoor kitchen with organic coffee, spearmint tea, and yummy cookies in the morning was truly next level fancy shmancy.
The tent was amazing: clean, cozy, and warm, beautifully designed in art nouveau fashion. We slept like logs!
100% worth it, and a great value!
I sure hope to be back one day for longer!

1 night at Valinore Glamping
Our stay at Valinore Glamping exceeded my expectations. Not that I had low expectations, but upon arrival at the property, both my partner and I were impressed by the craftsmanship of the cabin, the shared amenities, and the well-kept grounds in general. The property is in a nice central location perfect for exploring the mid Island, with lots to do nearby and the highway is right there for exploring further afield. The cabin is comfortable and well-equipped, with cooking supplies, coffee/tea, an A/C unit, heater, a propane fire pit, and even laundry. The common area has a nice clean shower and toilet, as well as additional cooking supplies. During our stay we were thrilled to be warm and dry in the cabin while an incredible electrical storm thundered overhead and dumped buckets of rain. We sat under the overhang and enjoyed the propane fire pit as the sky exploded — it was pretty awesome. Nearby Parksville/Qualicum/Coombs offer lots to do, I’d recommend checking out the new brewery/restaurant Fern & Cedar, swimming at Englishman River Falls Provincial Park, and mountain biking at Hammerfest riding area. I’d certainly stay at Valinore Glamping again.

I loved being up in the forest, waking up surrounded by trees. The double doors that open up to the front deck make the whole room feel a part of the outside world which was amazing! Sitting on the deck reading and enjoying a glass of wine was spectacular! Friendly hosts who run a great pizza truck and serve ice cream! Short walk to the harbor and trail to Skookumchuck Narrows. A truly beautiful piece of this magical part of the Sunshine Coast!

Great little spot away! Stayed in the Fea tent and appreciated how clean, comfortable, and well thought out it was.
Great communication and nice touches such as having french press and coffee / tea available to enjoy in the morning. And having a nice space for a hot shower after a long day out was much appreciated.

I really enjoyed my time at this place. The Yurt is lovely and really well built. It is comfortable and the shower is so cute!
There is a toaster oven, coffee maker with coffee and sugar, plus cutlery and plates. There is water and a sink outside that has hot and cold. The wifi is pretty good, but cell service isn't. The driveway is very steep and rocky, so keep in mind when driving there. The bathroom is a walk from the Yurt on gravel. They are pet-friendly which is the best part! The owners were very friendly and kind.
Overall, I really enjoyed staying here and would again!
