Located just over 30 minutes from Toowoomba you will find the Pittsworth Camping Area, enjoy a country experience only a stones throw from the city. Drive into Pittsworth to look at the monument of the Australian World Record Sprinter from the early 1900s, or look at the huge artwork/memorial of Moore’s Trailers. There is a rock fire pit available for campers to relax around in the evenings and enjoy the sunsets. Campers will need to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and take their waste with them on departure. Pets are welcome, there is a friendly dog on the property so please ensure your pet is friendly before letting them off leash.

Welcome to Kurrajong! 100 acres situated 30 minutes west of Dalby. We are also a 30 minute drive from Tara in one direction and Kogan in another direction. Kurrajong can be accessed from the Moonee Highway, the Dalby/ Kogan Road or Ducklo School / Gulera RoadsGuests can find their own campsite or use one of ours which is already set up with fire pit. If you choose to find your own camping area please keep all fires contained. All guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.Enjoy a quiet bush walk or catch some yabbies in the dam.  Guests are welcome to visit the miniature horses and join in with animal feeding routine morning and night.  Relax around the campfire in the evenings and enjoy a star filled sky.Guests are welcome to bring their motorbikes for riding in the adjacent state forest but please note there is strictly NO riding on the property. We also welcome guests to bring their horses to camp with them. We have a paddock and round yard available. Pets are welcome but dogs must be restrained near livestock. Our farm animal sanctuary is for all to enjoy.

BrickVilla is a 10-acre property located a short walk from the township of Leyburn (approx. 1km). The property is home to a historic cottage built in the late 1800s that is now the residence of a fourth-generation local family. The property has a dam (please note dam levels may vary dependent on rain) suitable for fishing and is teaming with native wildlife including Kangaroos, Fairy Wrens, Finches, Magpies, Kookaburras and Cockatoos. Pitch your tent or set up your van or camper and enjoy seeing native bird life and wildlife right at your doorstep. During the day you can do the local history tour or enjoy lunch at the historic Leyburn Hotel or the Leyburn General Store/Cafe. You may even be interest in walking some local bush walking or hiking tracks. At night you can enjoy toasting marshmallows on the campfire (wood provided) or star gazing. You need to be a fully self-contained with your own camping toilet, shower, and drinking water. We recommend 4WDs to access the property. The property features open, flat grassy areas peppered with trees. Some of the land is level and some is gently sloped and more suitable for tent camping. No pets please.

Great camp sites with almost everything you could need. Bathroom and outdoor shower were great! Firepit with kindling and firewood was perfect and great to not have to bring it all from home. We did a beautiful walk up along the Ridge line. Will be back for sure!

Arrived on a windy day, so definitely Windy Acres! Camped away from the dam, but still very private and not too much road traffic. Great spot for watching the sunset, and nice range of birds to spot. I think the scones are the best I've ever had....!

Good place...Responsible host... Another thing is that some mobile providers don't have network coverage in the area, so make sure you call the host while you have a stable connection, as the front gate might be closed.

Alicia was friendly and welcoming and helpful when a storm came through in the evening. She offered to let us use her undercover area to store the car during this time and checked if we were ok in the morning. Lovely lavender farm close to town and large spaces to enjoy. Dog friendly even better for us!

Weekend Trip to Glenelg Station

Loved that we were the only ones here. What a beautiful well maintained area. We enjoyed choosing one of a number of fire pits to set up our camp ovens. There was a port a loo available for use (which we did not use). We “wallowed” in the little rapids of the McIntyre Brooke to cool down and enjoyed watching the stars and satellites during the evening. What a perfect getaway. We laughed at the way the goats “frolicked “ on the rocks across the creek and enjoyed watching the Roos jumping past. Overall, wow , what a great place. ❣️

Lovely grassy spot with great views. Enjoyed our fire watching it get dark and seeing the lights over Toowoomba after dark. There was a fair bit of road noise but this did not bother us or wake us during the night. Easy to find. Would recommend.

Beautiful place to stay, love the free roaming goats, wallabies, cows, sheep and emus. The river is full of tabbies and little shrimp and fish and lots of safe areas to let your kids go fishing. Water is deep enough to swim in, we even managed to get our kayaks in the water tho got stuck on rock in a few places.

A fantastic camp-site, perfect place to unplug the world in the aussie bush for a perfect time of peace and quiet, free from traffic noise, noisy barking dogs and everything else the city throws at you..and just under half an hour from toowoomba.. The amenities block is a perfect mix of rustic meets 5 star.with the indoor luxury bath and shower and the very rustic outdoor hot shower, the perfect spot to enjoy nature...both short and long walks on offer, each with its own rewarding views..the host was fantastic making sure your privacy is assured....loved my stay and could not recommend this any higher for people wanting privacy and seclusion....
