This property runs cattle and two horses, we also seem to accommodate neighbours goats when they escape their own property. We have an abundance of birdlife, a few hares and the occasional mob of kangaroos like to thunder through the property at dawn and dusk.
Free firewood can be collected around the property and firepits are available. Campfires are subject to authority fire bans.
Day visitors for fossicking/prospecting must book through Hipcamp for insurance reasons.
No motorbikes allowed however bicycles are allowed on the tracks.
Dogs are permitted but must be on a leash at all times for their safety and the safety of the other residents on the property both human and animal.
Gold prospecting/fossicking is subject to rules that will be sent once you book your fossicking experience. The property is home to a historic cottage built in the late 1800s that is now the residence of a fourth-generation local family. Once again, this campsite was perfect. First time around with girlfriends, this time with my partner. As a seasoned camper, I am happy with rough conditions, but this campsite is luxury all the way. Catherine has thought of everything to make it a smooth experience regardless of camping background or gear. No doubt I will be back again.

Such a relaxing and peaceful place. We loved sitting by the firepit at night under the starry sky and waking up to birds in the morning. Rose was quick to respond and made us feel very welcome. Our family had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely retun next

Lovely big barn set up for weddings but could be used for any celebrations.
The farm fresh eggs great extra treat very yummy.
Lovely outlook at the Knob with accommodation and the shower / bath hut was very nice would enjoy an amazing bubble bath for two.
Gave Nick and idea for an open outdoor shower to take advantage of the view.
Great selection of farm yard animals great toy kids too.

A fantastic camp-site, perfect place to unplug the world in the aussie bush for a perfect time of peace and quiet, free from traffic noise, noisy barking dogs and everything else the city throws at you..and just under half an hour from toowoomba..
The amenities block is a perfect mix of rustic meets 5 star.with the indoor luxury bath and shower and the very rustic outdoor hot shower, the perfect spot to enjoy nature...both short and long walks on offer, each with its own rewarding views..the host was fantastic making sure your privacy is assured....loved my stay and could not recommend this any higher for people wanting privacy and seclusion....

A stunning private campsite with amazing walks and views. The care taken to put in the bathrooms and maintain the site is evident with everything well laid out. We had a single night away and loved every second.
If visiting be mindful the driveway is stepp with some rough patches. We tried to use our sedan but couldn't get thorugh so hiked our equipmet in. It just added tou our adventure! AWD or 4WD suggested.
