Some sites are more suited to Caravans as the access is better and some are better suited to campers / 4WD but all can be accessed with a regular car. We have NO road frontage so sites are private, quiet and safe and only 3ks off the New England Highway. All campers MUST bring their own Chemical toilet and shower facilities. A small rest room and shower is available in case of emergency only I run a working farm raising Sheep and Lambs, Chickens, Ducks, Horses, Donkeys, Vegies, Preserves and Jams. Farm produce is available on request and availability, eg Free range eggs , farm raised Lamb, locally sourced Bacon for the BBQ , and seasonal vegetables, jams and chutneys. Thanks to the Beautiful rain we have had recently, our large dam is full, providing a wonderful spot for swimming, paddling or just splashing about, the Dam has long sloping access so is great for families and dogs, PLEASE NOTE The Google Maps photo is way out of date, our Dam is full. Lovely grassy spot with great views. Enjoyed our fire watching it get dark and seeing the lights over Toowoomba after dark. There was a fair bit of road noise but this did not bother us or wake us during the night. Easy to find. Would recommend.

What a great find! A beautiful peaceful camp on the green banks of the Bracker Creek on Lake Coolmunda. Birdlife a plenty along with kangaroos and emus. Each site is huge and comes with a fire pit with wood. You’ll need a chainsaw and axe to chop it up. Bonus is the quirky CC’s Cafe. Congratulations to the owners. I’ll certainly be staying here again and also recommend it to my caravanning friends.

Cathy is a super chill and gracious host. 8 spots on the property but you are no where near anyone so privacy is guaranteed. My spot was Top of the Hill. Be sure to bring a marquee or shade of some sort as you get the direct sun and will get hot. Otherwise, everything was spectacular and relaxing only 25 mins to Warwick and 25 min to a winery. Definetly going back.

The camp grounds are very well maintained. Showers were kept very clean. Jane and Luke were very welcoming and helpful and could not do enough to assist their guests. There was a nice amount of space between individual sites allowing for more privacy. There is easy access to the water for fishing or swimming We will definitely return.

Camped at wind break, the owners were very accompanied thank to you Jane. Toilets were clean daily. Caught a big yellow perch in the creek. Swim able creek need to track down a steep hill but had it to ourselves which was nice. The camps are alittle close but neighbours where nice. Will recommend 👍

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jeff & Kay's land. It was quiet and private from the road... a perfectly safe place to leave the van whilst we did activities in nearby Toowoomba, including visiting the carnival of flowers. We were the only ones there and really enjoyed the solitude.

Wow, we had a fantastic time at Carbean Camping & Farmstay. Sandy and Lyle are fabulous hosts. Plenty to do and explore. We went panning in the Macintyre Brook, unfortunately no gold for us so back to work it is for me. We also hiked up road to the site of the old sheep shearing structure and found a few relics left behind. Plenty of fishing in the dam and detecting around the campsite finding all sorts of things. We even had an encounter with a stray lamb separated from the flock and had the privilege of giving it a bottle feed. Now I know the lay of the land we’re extremely keen to get back out there and do more exploring across the property. See you soon folks!! Cheers, Frase and Gib.

A little difficult to find, some signage wouldn’t go astray. Otherwise was a nice place to stay. Bit of road noise (we were in a camper trailer) and sites are not individually signed but fairly easy to determine. Would be difficult in the dark though. Beautiful view and nice mowed green grassy sites. Individual fire pits on some of the sites.

We loved our weekend at Carbean! Baby lambs, creeks with shady trees, zero traffic at the end of a dirt road, only one other family in sight. We saw lots of birds on the dam, at least four kinds of kangaroo/wallaby. Campground is huge and nearly flat, great for kids to play, fishing in the dam is allowed.
