Some firewood is available however please refer to the local RFS guidelines at the time of your stay to ensure you are allowed to have a fire.
The campground is available for one set of campers at a time however if you are part of a group we will accept bookings for up to four vans. Please select the site and just add the extra adults to the booking.

We can provide access to potable water if required.
Hillsdale is for 4WD drivers only and suits campers who want a peaceful and private place to stay within easy access of all that Mudgee has to offer.
We welcome, adventurous campers or wildlife lovers who want to stay off grid in privacy in a pitched tent, roof top, or 4WD caravans. Or for the really adventurous enjoy the stars at night in your swag.
Well behaved pets are permitted and are likely to enjoy a swim in the dam.
Fishing is available off property but close by. For the more serious fisherman go to Windamere Dam less than 15 minutes away.
We only permit 1 booking at a time, so if you are a small group, please contact us and we may be able to accommodate you. We will also be opening up more unique and private sites over the coming months, so check back with us.

The Wollemi Art Farm is a 100 acre block surround by national park - so your only neighbours are trees and animals. We are only 2 kilometres from the stunning Dunns Swamp. We have several camping areas, which range from intimate to spacious, and can host up to 190 people - if you want to book out the whole place (weddings, parties, small festivals)!
Facilities include toilets, water and shelter.
It's called 'The Wollemi Art Farm' because not only do we do arty things there (like quests and Shakespeare nights), in time we shall fill the place with mysterious and beautiful works of art - constructed from the rocks and wood of the landscape itself.
We have our own trails and views (see below).
As mentioned, we run quest adventures (think: clues, a map, exploring, competing against other teams for glory) - get in touch if you would like to know when the next one is, or if you would like your own private quest. I've included some quest material in the photos (more on our Instagram and Youtube). There is an additonal fee for questing.
Walks:
-Look out for the twin cairns on the north side of the public road, about 100m before you get to the main camping area. Follow the trail to the Summit.
-You can also follow the private road up the hill past the main house (turn right off the public road as if you are going to the Spring campsite, then walk past the 'no tresspassing sign' - you are not tresspassing if you are a guest!). Follow this road for a few hundred metres until you see the rocky outcrop towards your right (the 'Souther Heights'). A sign points the way to a cleft that you can ascend. Two cairns mark this spot. Follow the rocky ridge up for several hundred metres. It's a fine adventure.
Runs. I'm a keen distance runner. I have a range of runs mapped out. These include a 10km loop, longer runs up to 20kms, various reps, and more. The WAF is perfect for your running group getaway.

Another fantastic stay at Vans in the Vines! The beauty and tranquility of this camp drew us back, this time enjoying a tasty wood fired pizza and a chilled white Merlot under fairy lights @ the Friday night gathering. Paula is such a friendly and welcoming host who makes you feel at home in their little piece of paradise. A few minutes from town and lots of paths to wander with our two little jack Russell pups. Lovely spot amongst the vineyards in Mudgee. We were very lucky with the weather for the weekend and had a great time. The wine tasting and pizza on Friday night was great. It was fairly busy (Easter weekend), there were about 10 vans on site. However there was enough space for everyone to spread out a bit. Sites are on a bit of a slope so make sure you bring your levelers.

We stayed two nights camping at Adam’s property and absolutely loved it. It’s incredibly quiet, with a beautiful view that makes it easy to relax and switch off.
Waking up surrounded by cows was such a unique and peaceful experience, and the visits from the cute sausage dogs were definitely a highlight.
A perfect spot if you’re looking for calm, nature, and a bit of charm
highly recommend!

What a beautiful place to camp while exploring Mudgee. It’s so peaceful and beautiful it’s tempting to sit there all day and relax. Of an evening, look to the sky for all the stars.

What a beautiful peaceful location. We had the place to ourselves. Views at sunrise and sunset were lovely. Kangaroos, wallabies, rabbits and birdlife. You can position yourself right at the vines, which were full of grapes. One very small let down was that we were only informed on the day of arrival, was that the cellar door was closed for renovations, which were were very looking forward to walking up and having a wine/tasting. Highly recommend this Hipcamp.

Mudgee Holiday Park was a very pleasant experience. Not too big and has everything you need. Amenities very clean and spacious sites. Took 2 small dogs and lots of places to walk them and a great off the leash dog park nearby

We loved our time at Dunollie Ridge. We expected to find that the previous reviews were over-the-top; Nope, they were not! It's proximity to Mudgee and Gulgong are an additional draw-card if that is what you want, though far enough away to absolutely guarantee that feeling of just being away from civilisation!
Given that the whole area is currently experiencing a mini drought this did not reduce our genuine love of this place, thank you Adam.
