You must be self sufficient as there are no toilets or showers available and please take all rubbish with you.
We are located 8 kilometres off the Princes Highway and we DO recommend 4wd as there is 5 kilometres of rough dirt road with 3 creek crossings that can be flooded in heavy rains.
Dogs are accepted but Must be kept on a leash as we have an abundance of wildlife, wallabies, kangaroos, wombats and birds, as well as our own dogs, horses, pigs, goats and a cat.
Please be aware of wombat holes. As well as snakes.

The site is well grassed and provides abundant shade from the overhead canopy. Best shade is in the morning when you want to sleep in. There is a tranquil creek on the eastern side of the camp and horses and hand reared cattle graze on the western paddock. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. Bring some books, set up a hammock and laze the days away. Beaches on the coast and beautiful Jervis Bay are 20 Minutes away. The Jervis Bay region has much to offer so if you're up for adventure, bring your kayaks and snorkelling gear. We offer direct river access for fishing, swimming, kayaking, SUPs, or canoeing. There is also a spot to launch a small tinny—please let us know if you wish to do so and we can show you the location. You can enjoy a leisurely paddle around Burrill Lake or head toward the Dolphin Point beach area, though there are many spots on the lake much closer for a swim.
Amenities & Supplies
An IGA supermarket, bottle shop, bakery, and fish and chip shop are accessible via the lake at the Burrill Lake bridge.
Fire pits are provided (when no fire restrictions are in place). Please do not cut down any trees on the property; firewood can be purchased.

• Access: Water access is available from each campsite. Please remain in your designated camp area and avoid walking or driving around the rest of the property.
• Privacy: The properties across the river are private and are not to be accessed.
• Pets: This is a working farm. Please contact us prior to booking to discuss if your pet is suitable. Dogs must remain on a leash at all times. Off-leash areas are available in nearby Milton, Mollymook, and Narrawallee.

It is also roughly the same coming via Western Distributor from Kings Highway Once on these roads a vast part of your drive will be on dirt, and may be a little testing in wet weather, however you will discover some much natural beauty when you arrive at your destination
Please also note that there is no reception in this area, the closest place for phone reception is at Pigeon House Mountain. In the event of any emergency the caretaker does have STARLINK to assist with contacting medical authorities or family.

Our primary purpose here is horse agistment, with four horses currently on the farm, along with 12 lovely chickens that free range during the day.
The farm is a beautiful haven to take a stroll and explore, enjoy a peaceful breakfast in the gentle mornings, or sit and enjoy wine and cheese at the end of the day as the sun goes down.
We are located 15 minutes from the local beaches and a little bit further to get to the Huskisson township with the famous Husky pub, 5 Pigs Cafe, and various other restaurants and cafes.

I recently stayed at the "Good Luck" site within the very aptly named Kookaburra and had a fantastic time.
The location is peaceful and feels secluded and natural whilst still not far from the road and access to amenities.
The site is full of life, days filled with birdsong from many species and in the evenings the sounds of activities and calls from nocturnal mammals is all around yoy. There are also some friendly and curious cows and an approachable, though timid horse.
I found the toilet on the site to be clean and well maintained and the option to purchase crates of firewood was both convenient and competitively priced.
The sites are well spaced out and even though I was there on a public holiday weekend with every site in use I never felt impacted by the other campers.
All in all a wonderful time and very accessible to new campers.

We loved our stay at La Estancia. It was peaceful and relaxing and very well equipped. The communal kitchen and lounge area was perfect for cold evenings and the outdoor bath an added treat. We will come back again!

A magical spot, perfect for getting away from it all.
Enough room for everyone with a central communal swimming hole on a beautiful tranquil river.
Definitely a journey in off the highway but all worth it.
We did made it in with our 18ft viscount but took it very slow and weather had been dry.
Toilets were clean, sites were neat and tidy.
Our site (Old Bull Paddock 3) was away from most and a bit more of a scramble down the bank to the river on that side- ok i'd say for older kids. This section is much shallower too but a lovely spot to take in. Site 1+ 2 were closer together while 3 was a little more away and closest to the stunning views. Our site didn't have any shade.
Julie was a fabulous host, even popping in with a surprise that was a definite highlight for our son, thank you Julie!
