Whether you’re rolling in with a caravan or pitching a tent, there’s plenty of flat open space for 3-4 caravan setups, making it ideal for couples, friends, or groups, your furry friends are welcome too! Large water tank with tap and sink for washing dishes is provided at campsite. Plenty of dead timber lying around the bushland surrounding the campsite, that you are welcome to forage, just bring an axe or chainsaw to shorten the pieces.. As you will have the site to yourself, your dogs are welcome to stretch and run around off leash. You are welcome to walk around the property, please keep a safe distance and supervise children around livestock. Please leave any gates as you find them. Local attractions; Travel 8 minutes up the road by car, for a soak at the nearby Innot Hot Springs - nature’s own spa, where warm, mineral-rich waters offer the perfect way to relax and recharge. Visit Millstream Falls - reputedly the widest single drop waterfall in Australia, the park is rich in cultural and World War II history - 12 mins away by car. Ravenshoe – Explore Queensland’s highest town, (3,050ft above sea level) - 17 mins drive by car. Visit local cafes, markets, and the historic steam railway.

Millstream River Bush Camping Peaceful, spacious off-grid camping on the Millstream River 🌿🔥 Come and enjoy a quiet slice of the Far North Queensland bush on our 60-acre property, right on the Millstream River. Our camping area is approximately one acre of flat, open bushland with plenty of established trees for shade. Rather than having fixed camping pads, we offer a relaxed bush-camping experience where guests can choose their own spot within the designated camping area. There is room for up to six camping parties, with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the natural surroundings. Whether you're travelling through the Tablelands, exploring the area around Innot Hot Springs and Ravenshoe, or simply looking for somewhere peaceful to stop for a few nights, we'd love to have you. 🌿 Your stay Your booking includes: - One spacious camping area for your group - Up to 2 adults - Children stay free - Choice of where you'd like to set up within the camping area - Flat, level ground suitable for caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes and tents - Natural shade from established trees - Designated fire pits - Firewood available for purchase* - Access to the surrounding 60-acre property - Millstream River frontage This is fully off-grid camping, so guests need to be self-contained and bring everything they need for their stay, including drinking water, power and toilet/shower facilities. 🔥 Campfires There are designated fire pits within the camping area and firewood is available for guests to enjoy. We ask that fires are kept within the designated pits and that all current fire restrictions are followed. Fires may not be permitted during periods of high fire danger. 🌊 Millstream River The Millstream River runs along the property and is a beautiful place to explore and enjoy the surrounding bush. There is access to the river via a short bush track from the camping area. Please be aware that the track is steep in sections and uneven underfoot. River access is entirely at your own risk, and children should be supervised closely. The camping area itself is located on higher, flood-free ground. 🌳 Explore the property You're welcome to explore our 60-acre property during your stay. We simply ask that guests enjoy the property respectfully and leave it as they found it. Please: - Respect all gates and leave them as you find them - Respect our wildlife and natural environment - Keep a safe distance from livestock - Do not enter areas that are signed or marked as private - Supervise children around livestock, water and uneven terrain - Take all rubbish with you when you leave There is plenty to discover, from the bushland and river to the wildlife and peaceful rural surroundings. 📍 A great base for exploring We're conveniently located just off the Kennedy Highway, making us an easy stop while travelling through the Tablelands. Innot Hot Springs — approximately 7 minutes Enjoy a soak in the famous Innot Hot Springs before returning to your campsite for a quiet evening around the fire. Ravenshoe — approximately 20 minutes Ravenshoe is the highest town in Queensland and is handy for supplies, cafes and exploring the surrounding area. Archers Creek Rest Area — approximately 5 minutes The popular free camping area is just down the road. If you're looking for an alternative with more space, access to private land and the ability to enjoy a campfire, our property offers a quieter option. 🌅 Simple bush camping, plenty of space This isn't a caravan park — and that's exactly the point. There are no powered sites, concrete pads or rows of caravans. Just a peaceful piece of country, plenty of room to spread out, a campfire at the end of the day and the Millstream River nearby.
