Please read the full description before you book. Ta. The land is about 650 metres. It is in a residential street (houses each side). It is a gentle slope down from the street where you park to where the level camp site BUT I do not recommend driving down to the level camping area. Even in a 4 wheel drive cars have been stuck and if it's been wet or even if it's dry, you will be stuck and I have no way of helping you. It's about 20 steps from the street to the camping area. Easy walk. If you have a car/truck with the camping arrangement on your roof, this site is not for you. Sorry. Level area for camping is about 220m with water and power plus a 8m x 2.5m cabin for hanging out in the day, storage in wet weather. The cabin is about 25 steps further down from the camping. It is a gentle slope to get to. The outlook is lovely. The land is just 500 steps from Smiths Lake. The photo of the lake is the spot. It doesn't look that good every afternoon. That was one of those super magic sunsets; but it's often amazing. Town water is on and power is also on. Toilets are a short 3 minutes drive to the Frothy Coffee lake side with BBQ and toilet amenities

It is a hilly property so you need adequate power and 4WD to access the higher sites, particularly if towing and after extended wet periods. Message if you are unsure.. 4WD are most suitable for this property. Dogs are welcome and are fine to be off-lead provided they don't chase horses and are friendly. You can watch the fish jump and the bird songs are so beautiful. There are no other camping sites near this space. We are just over an hour from Newcastle and Port Macquarie. Grab a kayak and enjoy being right on the river. Great fishing!! You will catch Bream, Flathead and Mud Crabs! You may also see the dolphins go past. We are 30 mins from Forster and Taree. The Nabiac Hotel is 10kms down the road and the village of Nabiac has all the essentials. We love our animals and along with our horses, we breed Therapy dogs. Your dogs are most welcome! Our property is at the end of a 2km gravel driveway. You can camp right on the river bank in privacy. The kids are welcome to help feed the animals. The area is quite shady, and there is a decent down to the site on the river, so a 4WD is recommended. You will need to swing wide to get into the entrance of the driveway and Van's over 18ft and with low clearance aren't recommended, due to the slope down to the river and the turn around area.

We loved camping at The Riverside Farm Escape! Richard was so accommodating on our late arrival, nothing was too much trouble. He even delivered fire wood to us. The kids loved the kayaks and fishing in the dam. The amenities were immaculate as was the entire farmstay. Very professionally signed throughout the farm. Will definitely stay again. Best Hipcamp we’ve been to!

Weekend Trip to Minimbah Fishing Lodge River Camp

The directions were clear and easy to follow, making the property straightforward to locate. Getting to the property you do drive along a dirt road for roughly around 4kms. The campsite is flat and situated close to the water, offering beautiful scenery and plenty of space for fishing. The campground isn’t super large so those seeking complete privacy may find it less suitable. However, there is an option to book the entire site for exclusive use. We really enjoyed camping here.

We camped but the river on a huge site with fire pit supplied and had the best 4 days emerged in nature, the birdlife was amazing! It was great to watch the fish jumping constantly up and down the river. We were self contained but we saw that the amenities were excellent. Would love to come back with family and grandkids. Richard was lovely and very responsive. Thanks for a great stay!

Weekend Trip to Luckystars Sanctuary

Met Clint upon arrival he is a great guy easy to talk to and very freindly. The site was amazing great view on top of a hill. Clint provided some fire wood however we also brought good slabs of fire wood and the fire lasted us all night. Unfortunately we didnt get to feed the animals as we arrived after feeding and it was raining in the morning but look forward to next time. Access is very easy and Clint has put down road base so no worries about wet weather access. Overall very good
