We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. As such, please drive really slowly here so as not to cause the horses to bolt. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! Dogs welcome (on leash).

Just 1 hour from Perth, Harmony Retreat is a conscious camping space situated on 25 acres at the foothills of the Darling Range Escarpment just 10-15 minutes from Pinjarra and Dwellingup, 7 minutes from the southwest highway, and 3 minutes from Pinjarra-Williams Road. It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilet, hot outdoor shower, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region. There are friendly free-ranging chickens and Guinea fowl, a mischievous mini pig, friendly goats, sheep, and a family dog on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite (this is a working farm). THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY. The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site. CHILDREN - The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. We also asked that older children are supervised, so as not to vandalise property, nature, gardens and fire-pits (this has been a problem in the past). Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times, due to free-ranging chickens, livestock and wildlife on the property. There are no cooking facilities available. Therefore, you will need to be completely self-sufficient including cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire bans. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Anyone found having a fire during FIRE BANS will be reported to authorities and asked to leave the property immediately (we need to use firm words around this, as bushfire destroys homes and endangers lives). Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush. There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property. Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :) Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter. The campsites offer stunning views of the vines, and are set within the trees for a secluded and tranquil experience. At this stage, the road is a little uneven, so we recommend a 4WD for access. Once you’re here, you can kick back, take an afternoon nap under the trees, and enjoy the peaceful charm of this one-of-a-kind escape. For supplies, there’s a convenience store just down the road, and if you’re after a beach day or need more amenities, Falcon is only a 15-minute drive away. Perth is just 1 hour and 20 minutes from the campsite, making this the perfect weekend getaway. Whether you're here for a weekend of relaxation, a brewery visit, or a base to explore the region, Salt & Ember is the original escape—peaceful, scenic, and full of charm. NOTE: A residential property is located at the far end of the acreage. Please respect the privacy of the homeowners by avoiding the area near the shed & house. We stayed at site Opera 2 for a total of 3 nights. This site was amongst trees and felt very secluded- exactly what we were looking for. Other sites have views. In the morning and at dusk we saw a couple of Kangaroos bounce by. Lovely spot and Bea was quick to answer queries. Highly recommend

Opera 2 is a nice quiet area tucked in the woods. There are other sites in the vicinity but you don’t see them. Opera 1 and 3 with views. We saw a number of kangaroos and birdlife - a lovely nature spot and can highly recommend if you want a tranquil rest

The instructions were clear, easy to find, very private and a lovely surprise to find a brand new kitchen shower, toilet and laundry facilities to use. Great also if your self sufficient but if your tenting it the facilities are terrific. If travelling with a dog, beware its snake territory and dont forget your fly net like I did Thank you Lindsay for allowing me to stay at your patch of heaven by the Murray river

The Tampines site at 100 acre wood is awesome. Stunning view from the top of the scarp, north west facing... so you get a pretty good sunset. It is very private... far away enough from the other sites that you feel alone. Surrounded by beautiful bush. The concrete slab was great too, didnt habe to worry about levelling or putting a mat down. Highly recommended

My stay at Maisie in the Valley at Bolinda Vale Farm was absolutely wonderful. The place was spotless, peaceful, and beautifully set up with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The views around the property were stunning and made the experience even more relaxing. Deb was an amazing host—warm, responsive, and genuinely caring. She made sure everything was perfect and her thoughtful touches really stood out. I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend Maisie in the Valley to anyone looking for a quiet, refreshing getaway. I’d definitely love to come back! 🌿✨

I loved caravaning at Hill Tree Farm. It is a beautiful property with (environmentally) friendly hosts, undulating hills, trees and much birdlife. I had the best night's sleep there as it's so quiet and the campsites are far apart. We will definitely return.
