At Bayview Camp you get the camping experience but have the creature comforts. Accomodation is school portable which is placed on the top of our property, Bayview Camp is also run as a business called Bayview Camp'n Horse Trails for horse enthusiasts, we have horse riding trails and horses facilities, access behind our stables. Great for hiking enthusiasts, some great trails including Labertouche Caves and Nangara Reserve. Trails can be found on the All Trails App. We have an abundance of Wildlife on our property including kookaburras, Wallabies and wombats just to name a few. Our residents are sheep, cows and horses. Your accomodation is nice and private as our house is down the bottom of our property but only a txt away if you're needing anything or have any questions. The old school portable sleeps 7 people. There is also room for larger groups if people are wanting to setup camp, there's a camp area with crushed rock ground and a firepit with a beautiful view of the forest. We can also accomodate for big groups and the parking area can fit camper vans and caravans with electrical hookups. Enjoy our beautiful sunsets and starry nights. Local townships include Neerim south and Drouin for your necessities. Weekend Trip to Bayview Camp

Brilliant place to stay and it exceeded all of our expectations. The place provides a beautiful sunset over the rolling hills, plus caters for those that want to camp or stay on a bed, with toilets and a shower. I genuinely don't do reviews that often, but this place was terrific.

Weekend Trip to Facta Glamping

Driving into the beautiful property, greeted by gorgeous horses, we knew we were in for a treat! The glamping tent pitched high on the hill overlooking Howes Inlet was just spectacular. Beautifully presented, amazingly comfortable and cozy bed with electric blankets and beautiful linen. A loo with a view! We sat by the fire-pit, eating nibbles and watching the sun go down, we lit the fire tub and soaked under the star lit sky with a glass of red, it was bliss. In the morning we watched a beautiful sunrise up over the hills. Directions to the property were well written and Sam and Jess were easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend facta glamping and would love to stay again!

Weekend Trip to R&R Off-Grid Cabin

Fantastic hosts and beautiful property. We had such a great time building fires, cooking and watching out for the abundant wildlife, which included wombats, goats, kangaroos, sheep and a lovely cow who came down to the fence every morning. Highly recommend!

Healesville

A main Yarra Valley town, Healesville is a hub of food and drink (largely wine!) and a handy base for campers who want to enjoy the restaurants or prepare their own gourmet meals around the campfire. The town is equipped with holiday parks with good facilities and different camping options to suit various budgets. Healesville is a short distance from the Maroondah Reservoir, where there are picnic spots and scenic walks.

Yarra Ranges National Park

The forested Yarra Ranges National Park spreads out around the Yarra Valley towns of Marysville, Healesville, and Warburton. The trees and vegetation here are especially impressive, and are a lovely environment for short walks and hikes. There are campsites throughout this national park but some of these have undergone repairs after storms; if they’re unavailable, there are nearby campsites and holiday parks elsewhere in the Yarra Valley, including Healesville and at other national and regional parks.

Kinglake National Park

A popular spot among hikers, mountain bikers, and campers, the Kinglake National Park is on the slopes of the Great Dividing Range and is easily accessible from the Yarra Valley. Keen and casual bird watchers alike will also enjoy looking out for the colourful bird life in this park, and the tall Masons Falls are especially impressive after rain.
