Also eels in a another couple of dams on property, so it certainly has something for all anglers. 550 acre property which has 3 different seasonal creeks flowing through it. Six excellent hideaway Camping sites to choose from. Some close to the water. Large sites which can handle 40 campers per site. Good areas of bushland and also a working sheep farm. Very private areas for camping. Campfires available but only in months when fire restrictions are not in force. A wide range of birdlife and duck life, wildlife including kangaroos, possums, echidnas. In wet weather you may need a 4 wheel drive vechile to access some of the sites. You will need to bring all your camping gear as these are tent and vechile sites only. We dont have any huts at this stage. 30 minute drive to Ballarat, 45 Min Geelong, 2 minutes drive to the village of Elaine and The Farmgate Shop which is open 7 days a week with a full range of all groceries, bbq needs, drinks, snacks, etc. 5 minutes to dollys creek, 5 minutes to Mt Doran/Lal Lal, 10 minutes to Meredith. Its a hidden gem. We are happy to take your booking. Sorry strictly no dogs allowed.

An absolutely beautiful and well-kept property. Lancefield Lakes offers stunning views in a peaceful, tranquil setting—perfect for switching off and enjoying nature. The facilities are excellent and clearly well maintained, which really enhances the overall experience. Jemillia was a fantastic host—welcoming, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure guests have a great stay. Aaron, who is involved in managing the property, was also excellent to deal with and very responsive whenever assistance was needed. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing escape with great amenities and thoughtful hosts. We’ll definitely be back.

This was our second 🦊 Camp for our end of year celebrations at this spot. Great choicec once again. Secluded, quiet, well set out campsite to be able support a group of young guys have a great time to blow off a little steam at the end of a very busy year. BBQ'ing, swimming in the fantastic billabong, camp fires, beer, whiskey, music, impromptu cricket match and lots of laughs were had by all. This is a great spot for a weekend away from Melbourne with a pooch. It's easy access, plenty of shade, beautiful large clean dam for swimming. There are a few local cars that go by and I have heard a bit of shooting both times I've camped here. Apart from that, private, quiet and very pretty.

We had a fantastic time here. The property is beautifully maintained, with stunning lakes and plenty of space to relax. The campsites are well spaced out, private, and spacious. it never felt crowded. The bathroom facilities were excellent. clean, modern, hot water, and with two separate toilets, which made things so convenient. The hosts were fantastic and really welcoming. Our kids had an amazing time kayaking on the lakes and exploring the bushland — such a great spot for families. We’ll definitely be back!

Gorgeous site right by the lake! Beautiful scenery on a clear sunny day, have some patience with the fishing, they are in there jumping around, we didn't catch any but was great for relaxing during the long Cup weekend. Mark was a great host showing us both sites and giving us the freedom to set up camp wherever we wanted. We had fantastic weather until it rained, then it was a bit treacherous driving and towing out of the muddy paddock (take it slow and steady), best to stay when the weather is forecasted or certain to be dry

Would highly recommend Lancefield Lakes. We were a group of 8 and wanted private space away from other groups and that’s exactly what we got. Eveyone was well spaced out, bathroom and toilets were extremely clean, grounds were immaculate and everything was so well thought of. Jemillia was very responsive and helpful leading up to our stay. Aaron greeted us and made us feel welcomed immediate and checked in on us the next day. We will definitely be back!
