We’re are a 10 minute drive to Waaia with an excellent pub and the small town of Nathalia which has a supermarket, hotels, fuel, post office, bakery, gift & clothing stores & other businesses.

From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up.
NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here.
We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage.

For fishing and watersport enthusiasts there is access to a boat ramp. From camp there is sloping bank access to the water, steeper in some parts.
Guests will have access to a toilet, fire drums and cut your own firewood is available.

We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage.

For fishing and watersport enthusiasts there is access to a boat ramp. From camp there is sloping bank access to the water, steeper in some parts.

No. 3 was very lovely, set in a quiet corner of Kerry and Ben's property. The creek was dry when we visited (mid Feb) but we cycled down the creek bed to the Murray for a swim. Great as a base camp with Echuca-Moama and Barmah park nearby.
The shower was an absolute delight to have! There were many small touches that made the site feel comfortable without taking away from the natural beauty.
Have you ever been able to see the milky way while sitting on a flush toilet? This is your chance!

Privacy, security and the cleanliness of the entire place outlined how much time and care Kerry and Ben put into this place.

We arrived on a 45 degree day, out of a car with no AC and windows up, thinking we'd be spending the day swimming in their creek and camping in the hot shade.
The creek is 30 cm deep and full of sticks and leaches - swims were not to be. But everything else far exceeded expectations. They were so generous and kind, welcoming us into their home and air conditioning, sitting with us for chats and painting watercolours in the garden, showing us their projects and animals. The farm is a delight. So picturesque.
They are artistic souls who seem to host out of a passion for connection, community and generosity in sharing their beautiful haven, rather than to make some cash.
We could have been happy their for days.

We had a great long weekend staying at Campsite 6. There were a few options at Campsite 6 of where to set up and plenty of space for our group to set up 3 camping trailers. Depending on where you to decide to camp the walk to the river is only about 1-3 minutes. There is a flat area to set up a marquee by the river if you wish to spend the day down there. You will need to walk down a steepish embankment to get into the water. Someone has cut stairs into the embankment so that made it a bit easier. You can't walk straight into the water, you need to step down into it and it is rather slippery, so probably not a good choice for those less able-bodied. Our group had a great time, spending most of the very hot days in the river. Tim the host was very friendly helpful, he showed us to our campsite when we arrived. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing spot, highly recommend. Matine is super friendly and welcoming when you arrive, giving good tips for where to explore on her massive 500 acre+ farm. The spots are very large and secluded (except for the odd curious cow) and each have their own unique vibe. We went in the middle of a very hot and dry period but there was still plenty of water for a refreshing dip into (hike up the stream a bit from the campsites)
Will definitely be coming back!

We loved our stay! Carole and Peter are so lovely and made us feel very welcome. We were greeted with a tour of the farm, fresh eggs and home grown veges. Peter took us out to see the stars one night too. The river site is picturesque and very relaxing. There were so many different and animals to look at and photograph. We also explored the local region and made trips to Benalla, Wangaratta and Glenrowan. If you want to get away from it all and relax, then this is a great place for you! 😊

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Nillawarre camp site and it was a great experience! This campsite offers a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.
The location is simply perfect! It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The best part is that the campsite is well-maintained, with clean bathrooms and showers through out the day. Ginnie goes above and beyond to make sure the facilities are well maintained ensuring our stay was comfortable. Really appreciate your effort!
Plenty of activities to do as well. Kids loved the animal feeding.
We highly recommend this campsite and It's a perfect spot for families, couples, and solo adventurers alike!
