Pollys paddock is named after a beautiful palomino horse named Polly, who lived here as a loved member of our family into her early 40s. Polly's Paddock is a quiet camping area on the Mornington Peninsula. We are a couples only camping (adults only), no children, for safety reasons with a dam close by. Only 15 minutes from Mount Martha village and Mornington, restaurants, amazing wineries, weekend markets, cafes and golf courses. We are 10 minutes from swimming beaches and 20 minutes from surf beaches. This is a 5.5 acre block, consisting of the host’s residence, garden and parkland. Polly's Paddock is half of the block. We offer 2 flat caravan sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power. There is a site with a glamping tent set in the garden. The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided. It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks. All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet. For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam. Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater. Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times, wild ducks and the properties own poultry wander here. No dogs on the glamping tent site. Tarwin Lower EcoStudio is not far out of town and the Tarwin River (4 kms), for boating, paddling and fishing. Slightly further afield is Andersen Inlet (great fishing, paddling, paddle boarding, boating, and shallow waters for very young children), Venus Bay Surf beaches, and Walkerville South bay beach (with boat ramp). Waratah Bay and Wilsons Promontory less than an hour's drive away. And that's just the water sports. The Great Southern Rail Trail is just up the road, at Koonwarra or Leongatha, and has a range of rides with varying degrees of challenge. The Eco Studio itself is completely off grid, built from reclaimed and recycled materials, as part of our commitment to living lightly. There is an outdoor kitchen, and composting toilet, and our home garden (we live on the property too) is often abundant and the fresh organic produce is for sale for our visitors. Pollys paddock is named after a beautiful palomino horse named Polly, who lived here as a loved member of our family into her early 40s. Only 15 minutes from Mount Martha village and Mornington, restaurants, amazing wineries, weekend markets, cafes and golf courses. We are 10 minutes from swimming beaches and 20 minutes from surf beaches. This is a 5.5 acre block, consisting of the host’s residence, garden and parkland. Polly's Paddock is half of the block. We offer 2 flat caravan sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power. There is a site with a glamping tent set in the garden. The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided. It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks. All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet. For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam. Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater. Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times, wild ducks and the properties own poultry wander here. No dogs on the glamping tent site. Me and my mates enjoyed Camping in the spacious Farm Land. Luke provieded us with a keg and firewood to make a Fire under the Stars at Night, which made this experience extra Special. Luke is a nice Host and his roaster Roger was great company. I recommend this Place to people who enjoy Nature and the simple and quiet Style of Camping. The Camp Site is safe, private and you have the Chance to encounter some wallabies and birds.

Excellent stay. Great location some 15k’s inland from lovely Inverloch. Great views. Easy access to the property and ideal for any 2WD’s. We have a MH and had access to both power and water if required. We didn’t bother. We were met by the engaging host Adrian who kindly showed me around. What a gem of a place. Manicured lawns in a large fully fenced paddock with a new camp kitchen, hot shower and seperate very clean toilet. 4 sites in total. Lovely dam to the rear of the property and walks back on the roadway overlooking the ocean to the distance. Adrian supplied a great fire pit, kindling and wood at a cost of $25 per night. Overall a wonderful stay - well worth a visit - you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed a week in a tent at the scout camp, and are very grateful they're willing to share the place with others. Plenty of gas-fired instant hot water for the showers, potable water, and it felt safe and secure. Although on 80 acres, the allocated Hipcamp area was in the south east corner, near Hearn Rd and Park Rd. There's an urban bus stop in Hearn Rd ~250m from the camp entrance.

We had the most relaxing, enjoyable weekend tucked away in the cabin. Very private, warm and with the amenities you need: comfy bed, tidy bathroom, cooking supplies. We enjoyed both cool evenings and rain at night - which was pleasant thanks to the cosy wood burner - plus blue sky days which made for great exploring and spotting wildlife, also close to the inlet and Venus bay. We were welcomed with freshly harvested strawberries from Jo which was a delight!

In the middle of the bush, in the middle of suburbia! Close to the beach and shops for supplies if needed. Plenty of space, but flat ground is limited. Heaps of ground wood to keep you warm and big fire drums to burn it in. Hot water was patchy, but grateful for toilets and showers that were there. Comms were great and were made to feel welcome, thankyou.

Tiny Castle is a custom built tiny house that overlooks farmland, bushland and the glorious Stzelecki Ranges including Mount Worth. With a large covered deck connected to the front of the tiny house, you don't have to go anywhere to witness Wedge-tailed Eagles, Black Cockatoos, King Parrots, Rosellas and Kookaburra to name a few. Or wombats scurrying into their warren in the embankment just below the tiny house. Or the wallabies that hang out in the front paddock. If you're a fit walker, you can hike up to the back of the property that borders an old pine plantation now full of regrowth where herds of deer call it home. At the right time of day, you're likely to see all kinds of water fowl in the damns around the property. And if you're lucky, our 3 alpaca will let you photograph them as they stare you down, but no cuddles for these guys -- they're there to keep the foxes away. Night time is magical. With no light pollution, it's a stargazers paradise and on a still evening you'll hear boobooks, possums and frogs. The popular tourist village of Yarragon is 16km down a winding unsealed road one way, while the larger town of Mirboo North is about the same distance going the other way. Mount Worth State Park is 13km from our property and Lyrebird Forest Walk Regional Park is 26km just outside Mirboo North. While there's a lot to do around these parts, my guess is you won't want to leave the property.

Both powered forelf contained campers only that have their own toilet/shower/power cables of 50 mtrs to the extra large site. 10 - 20 mtr cables to the smaller site. Up the driveway is for the glampers private space. There are two cabins and a yurt that share a unique dining/kitchen area paired with shared private toilet, outdoor shower and hot and cold bath under the stars for a very relaxing memorable time in nature. The cabins are converted shipping containers. Cabin 1 has a king bed, Cabin 2 has 2 double beds (bunk style) and a yurt (1 - 4 people). Shared facilities. Please do note the yurt does not have direct electricity and supplied are portable flood lights to hang in trees and inside. Charging station in the toilet shed or kitchen. The yurt is approx 150 meters from the cabins and very private. It has one super comfortable king and two single matresses. It's warm and so peaceful you will never want to leave. Mains water tap nearby. Pet fee $40 per stay. Please clean up after them. Capacity 1 - 10 people in the cabins/yurt.
