Our empty and unused dairy has space available out the front for up to 3, fully self contained vans (no tents) Located on the edge of the picturesque town of Buln Buln postcode 3821 (not Moe) take in views of rolling green hills and heritage listed oak trees while the gentle cattle and sheep graze nearby paddocks. We have access to power and river water on all three sites (not suitable for drinking) but no toilet so your vehicle must be fully self contained. One site is a drive through concrete slab, the other two are grassed sites. The grassed sites are next to each other and the slab site is on the opposite site of the driveway. There is a free public dump point available at Neerim South (a 10 minute drive north) 10 minutes drive to the larger township of Warragul. Firewood and eggs from our happy free range hens can be provided for an additional fee. Please only use the provided fire pits and no fires are allowed on total fire ban days. There is no access to the main house or paddocks unless accompanied by the property host. There is some traffic noise during the day but the nights are peaceful. Dogs are welcome but please ensure that they remain on leads at all times. Each site is limited to one vehicle and van or single campervan. Tranquility at its finest! Spent the weekend at Clear Horizons with the family. Shelly and Craig are outstanding hosts, super friendly and helpful. Walked around the property and visited the horses and Angus cows. Lucky enough to see a family of kookaburras paying us a visit in the evening. Weekend Trip to Tiny Castle at Tynecastle Park

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The tiny home is set on stunning landscape, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The views are incredible, and the sunsets were a real highlight. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The tiny home itself is very well equipped, with everything you need. One of the highlights of the property is the walk through the property. It’s absolutely amazing, and I highly encourage everyone to take the time to explore it. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough and would happily return.

1 night at Cannavale Farm Stay

The camping space is attractive with views north and west; good sunsets. There was afternoon shade available next to a gum tree. Both Shelly and Craig were warm hosts, friendly and supportive. It is close to the Princes Highway that it is easy to access. The camping block has a gentle slope and the grass is cut. We would recommend this to any campers and would gladly return. Thanks Shelly and Craig.

1 night at Cannavale Farm Stay

We had a fantastic overnight stay at Cannavale Farm Stay and couldn’t fault it. The site itself was spacious, grassy and easy to access, with plenty of room to get set up comfortably. It felt nicely spread out and private, with beautiful open views across the surrounding farmland. Super peaceful and quiet, especially in the evening. The farm setting is lovely. Waking up to the sounds of cattle and the countryside was a real highlight and exactly what we were looking for in a farm stay. It’s close enough to town to be convenient, but once you’re there it really feels like a proper escape. Hosts were welcoming and the property is well maintained. If you’re self-contained and after a relaxed, no-fuss farm stay with space, views and a calm rural vibe, this place is a great option. We’d happily stay again and recommend it to others.

Damiens’ Hipcamp stay was nothing short of magical! The location is great—peaceful, beautiful, and just a short distance from the beach, making it easy to enjoy ocean breezes and stunning sunsets. One of the highlights was definitely the miniature horses and goats—they are incredibly sweet and added such a unique, joyful touch to the experience. The host truly made the stay exceptional. They were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. From helpful local tips to thoughtful check-ins, their hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Loved the privacy and seclusion of the bottom paddock. Lots of room for our caravan and for our dog to run around in. Ally and Damian were the perfect hosts! And only a 5 min walk to the beach too… just perfect!

Rob has an amazing property surrounded by natural bushland. Making it feel remote whilst still only being 10km's from the freeway. The infrastructure already available at Creek Camp was so thoughtfully laid out such as the lighting in the trees, the deck overhanging the forest, festoons draped beautifully and the outdoor cover of the wonder little shed. Rob and family were a delight to meet and be around, very thoughtful offerings and care managing the land and that your group will have the best time possible.

Where to go

Summerlands

On the southwestern tip of Phillip Island, Summerlands is home to the island’s main attraction, the Penguin Parade. The natural spectacle of tens of thousands of penguins emerging from the ocean and waddling toward their nests takes place just after sunset every evening. Nearby you’ll find Nobbies Centre, outside of which you can see fur seals and birds, then learn about them through interactive displays. As Summerlands is a protected area, you’ll need to set up camp a little farther away. Nevertheless, you’ll find camping areas within a 10-minute drive.

Ventnor

In the small town of Ventnor, just a five-minute drive from the Penguin Parade, camping options include upscale glamping near Berry’s Beach and rural settings near Ventnor Beach.

Cowes

As the island’s main township, Cowes is home to several accommodation options, including camping areas. Your choices include family-friendly holiday parks with access to both the beach and nearby shops and restaurants.

Newhaven

In the southeast of the island, minutes from San Remo, Newhaven is home to caravan parks set upon sand dunes. Some parks feature powered caravan sites and non-powered camping grounds, plus comforts such as wifi and family playgrounds.
