The downstairs living zone is spacious and an absolutely fantastic area for the kids to play or for those wanting some peace and quiet, complete with a large smart TV Adjoining this room is a kitchenette with a microwave, small fridge, crockery, utensils, kettle, toaster, and coffee pod machine. This is perfect for a couple of families or couples sharing the house providing a fully self-contained area allowing the ultimate in privacy. It also has a laundry with a washing machine, clothes dryer, iron, and ironing board. This property is truly unique, offering ocean views from the front of the property and then you step out the back into a tranquil bush setting. French Island is Victoria’s best kept secret. Most of the island is national park. There are lots of koalas, echidnas, birds, wildflowers, and a general store. Our cottage offers sustainable luxury, with two comfy queen-bed rooms, each has a private bathroom, plus a lounge/kitchen with a cosy fire.  There's space for four more camping nearby, sharing the facilities.This is off-the-grid living; electricity and water come from the sky, heat from burning home grown timber. Take a short walk to 5 kms of deserted beach and the national park, hang out round the fire-pit, enjoy our DVD and games library, order a meal… or a cocktail… or do nothing much at all. Our property is 75 acres of diverse wooded heath land, which we are enthusiastically rejuvenating to capture carbon. There’s a lot to see and like.

Sea Paradise at St Andrews Beach

Bookings are open to all families and small groups over 30 years old. Strictly no 'Schoolies' or party groups. Sea Paradise is a spacious and beautifully designed home with spectacular ever-changing ocean views. A 10-minute stroll to the very private St Andrews beach with its rock pools and roaring ocean waves makes this a perfect Sea Paradise escape. On the top level is the Master bedroom which has access to a balcony with spectacular ocean views, watch the sunrise over the ocean from your warm king-size bed with a lumber control mattress, fitted with an electric blanket, warm Doona, and comfortable pillows. The main room has a walk-through wardrobe with built-in large wardrobes and a small office nook to complete unfinished business. The ensuite has a shower as well as a corner spa bath, a vanity unit, and a separate toilet area. The upstairs open-plan living area is spectacular offering amazing ocean views throughout. Complete with a dining room setting for 8 guests, with four more bench chairs for extra persons. Relax on the 3 seater lounge and watch the Large LCD TV, sound system, DVD and Netflix. Another two lounges to curl up on and enjoy the Ocean view of Bass straight. The ultimate place to unwind and relax with a drink, read a book or merely sit back taking in the views. Perfect for those who like to entertain and cook up a storm. The beautifully appointed modern kitchen has absolutely everything one could possibly ask for, including a 4 burner electric stove and oven, a microwave, a large fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, and a coffee machine. Also available is a coffee percolator and espresso jug for coffee enthusiasts. One of the major features of this property is the adjoining outdoor entertaining deck complete with an outdoor dining table, commercial grade Christie BBQ, and million-dollar views! another 3 bedrooms! Bedroom one (1) has a double bed, Bedroom two(2) consists of 2 bunk beds a single bunk as well as a king single bunk, all bunks have full slumber mattresses and are strong enough for adults to gently sleep on and in case of extra guests we have provided two (2) foam mattresses under each bunk. Bedroom three (3) has a Queen bed with lumber support sleep-easy mattresses, ocean views can be seen from the lower level but not as well as upstairs. All Bedrooms have built-in wardrobes with extra blankets and pillows for comfort for our guests. Also a centrally located bathroom with shower and toilet. The downstairs living zone is spacious and an absolutely fantastic area for the kids to play or for those wanting some peace and quiet, complete with a large smart TV Adjoining this room is a kitchenette with a microwave, small fridge, crockery, utensils, kettle, toaster, and coffee pod machine. This is perfect for a couple of families or couples sharing the house providing a fully self-contained area allowing the ultimate in privacy. It also has a laundry with a washing machine, clothes dryer, iron, and ironing board. This property is truly unique, offering ocean views from the front of the property and then you step out the back into a tranquil bush setting. Hidden among the trees is an outside table entertainment area with a stunning swimming pool. Sea Paradise also offers reverse-cycle air conditioning/heating throughout. Plenty of parking with enough room in the driveway to park a boat and a number of cars. The double lock-up garage has been transformed into another entertainment area complete with a large pool table and table and chairs...Great area for the kids particularly those teenagers who love to have their own little space! But wait there is more.... A sauna is located in the garage to warm yourself up before jumping into to pool. Enjoy the colder months snuggled up in the warmth of the house soaking in the ever-changing moods of the ocean, watching for dolphins and whales. Soak in the spa bath and crawl into a warm bed. The only thing that changes in the colder months is our reduced prices. St Andrews Beach is a lovely quiet suburb with the convenience of having a superb cafe a 10 minute walk down Paradise drive along with a yoga and meditation retreat. Other close must visit places are a 5-minute drive to St Andrew's Brewery, and 10 minutes to Rye Hot Springs. 5 min walk you will also find access to the breathtaking ocean beach.

Great location, close enough to cycle to local wineries. Easy access and level site. Nice facilities although we didn’t use them (kitchen, pool etc), great to sit by the campfire under the stars. Power, water and clean indoor WC. We stayed for 2 nights, Marc was friendly & helpful and Murray the Staffy was very sweet.

Damiens’ Hipcamp stay was nothing short of magical! The location is great—peaceful, beautiful, and just a short distance from the beach, making it easy to enjoy ocean breezes and stunning sunsets. One of the highlights was definitely the miniature horses and goats—they are incredibly sweet and added such a unique, joyful touch to the experience. The host truly made the stay exceptional. They were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. I very much enjoyed staying at Shack’s Bottom Padock - decided last minute to come here due to the total fire ban issues at the Grampians where I had originally booked. Damian was a great host - thank you for the fire pit and watering can, and also for checking in on me when it got a bit stormy.

My wife and I had a great stay in our 7.5m motorhome, and the camp site was very quiet and private. The potable water (accessible near house shed) is a bonus as well as the fire pit, log stools, and games box. Brooke is very proactive and responded quickly to any queries we had. Will definitely look forward to returning in the future.
