We are easy to find just off the Hume FWY and are located nearby to many wineries, the Goulburn River, the Great Victorian Rail Trail and the townships of Seymour, Trawool and Broadford. Come along to unwind and relax from the big smoke and feel free to bring your beloved fur babies, paddle board, kayak or bike. For those with horses - we have a secure paddock with a dam and 20m round yard for horses to be secured overnight. Currently home to our family, the property is also visited by many native Australian birdlife species, many marsupials including kangaroos, echidna, possums and even a koala. With close proximity to coffee shops and local stores of Romsey and Lancefield Providore, you have only a few minutes to drive to stock up on local produce. Walking the trials around Hanging Rock is a 10 minute drive and Mt Macedon lookout 15min. Trickle Hill Cottage

Trickle Hill is a lovely cottage tucked away at the edge of our bush. You have your own little patio, and can go for adventurous walks straight from your living room ! We are close to Dandenong ranges, Yarra valley, Bunyip state park, and Puffing Billy. We are just behind Avalon castle- so great if you are attending a wedding We welcome couples, solo adventurers and families. We are of course LGBTI+ friendly! Dogs are very welcome. The cottage is a converted shed, with three bedrooms, a lovely living area and a cosy closed woodfire. We have a sheltered outdoor area, where you can have a barbeque, or have a small fire in a firedish. The cottage is in the bush, so you can walk out and try to find our resident breeding pair of Lyrebirds, echidnas, wombats, wallabies and kangaroos or the deer that live in our 'back yard'. Or just roam, which shouldn't be too hard on 67 acres . We are close to massive areas of bush with open trails. Dogs are very welcome- no cats. As we live in the bush, we do our best to keep everything as 'green' as we can- so please don't use harsh chemicals. Living in the bush brings with it that you cannot light a fire in fire danger periods, and, heating on a woodstove, means there is a hot stove in the room. (watch those little fingers...) Our aim is to give you a place of rest and enjoyment. We love to share our space as we love it here so much- and hope you love it too. As life is a project - don't expect 10* linen and luxury, state of the art gardens and clipped lawns, but a friendly welcoming atmosphere where you can be yourself and relax. We love to have visitors, and chat for a bit- or leave you to relax. The cottage is on the edge of the bush, where you are welcome to roam on the tracks or off them- at your own risk :-) We are both artists, and our studio's are close to the cottage, which might make some noise, but we'll try to keep it at a minimum when guests are here. The upside is, you could learn something if interested :-) (contact us for workshops) We have a working hobby farm- with some machinery, animals (pigs, dogs, horses, ducks and chickens). You can interact with the animals if you talk to us about safety first, but the horse paddock is out of bounds. ( they can behave unpredictable, are very large (!) and very valuable) Our dogs are very friendly and will most probably visit you. Our puppy still has lots to learn :-) Our property is stock- fenced, our animals will stay in, but dogs are able to roam if they are not staying with you. There is no secure yard to leave your dog during the day, you are expected to be in control of your dogs at all times. If they are ok with horses, chooks and dogs, and under voice command, they can be off leash. Dogs are not to sleep on the beds. We are a rural property with animals, and there are dams on the property, (not close to the cottage) so please keep an eye on children - we cannot take responsibility for your persons or animals. Living on a farm means that not everything is neat, safe, flat or person-proof. Often there is actual work being done involving machinery. Coming here is entirely at your own risk. (sorry for all the disclaimers...) But- of course- if there is anything we can do to make your visit more pleasurable, we will do our best to do so!

Welcome to Wildcroft Estate, a little piece of heaven nestled in the beautiful valley of Yea hills of Victoria. Where every moment feels like a slice of paradise. Our serene sanctuary offers an opportunity for profound inner rejuvenation, stirring dormant hearts awake. Spread across six hundred acres of pristine natural splendor, guests are invited to immerse themselves in the embrace of nature, camping beneath starlit skies and relishing the serene spectacle of sunrise and sunset. Venture into the wilderness to witness the dance of local wildlife in their native habitat, serenaded by the enchanting melodies of birdsong and the majestic call of stag deer roaring to a doe for mating. Our friendly equine companions are eager to share a carrot treat (under the careful supervision of our staff, of course). Wildcroft Estate is perfect for people who love hiking and anyone just looking for a getaway during the long weekends. You can escape here and catch sight of varied species of wildlife as the sun rises or sets. There are fire/grill pits on the campsites and man/woman toilets and showers. We are building at this moment a grain bin gazebo for our guests as a communal area where you can enjoy a firepit while having a drink and a yarn. Dog-friendly dogs are allowed but on leashes. Visitors who enjoy horseback riding are invited to explore the rolling hills and scenic trails of our property on their horses. yards are available at an extra cost and a nice and early countryman breakfast can be arranged as well. Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, cattle, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you).

Are you looking for a unique bush camping spot conveniently located to Melbourne? Longridge has camping looking out over the Yarra Valley and Kinglake National Park and is 124 acres. The property backs onto the National Park and is 10 minutes to the Toolangi State Forest and Yarra Glen. There is abundant flora and fauna found on the property. You have your own exclusive walking/ Mountain biking trails that go for k's. Guests will have plenty of space and privacy at their site. All guests must be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Can be windy at times on hilltop, with very limited protection. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided, please keep them under control at all times and respect any fire restrictions in place during your stay. Some firewood is available. Firepit. Collection of wood off the ground is allowed. Fires under 1m in size for cooking or warmth. Must be extinguished with water if not attended and on departure. Wineries nearby. Blueberry Farm located next door, 50 minutes to Melbourne, Tullamarine airport. 50 minutes to Kalatha Giant Tree walk, Toolangi State Forest. Well behaved leashed pets are welcome. Driveway is steep in to camping area, 4x4 recommended when towing caravans. Lowered vehicles or sports cars may not be able to access the camping area. Standard height cars will be okay. 4x4 Recommended during wet conditions as campsite is on grassy hill.
