Welcome to Somerville Park, a 500 acre sheep farm at Fosterville. There are a variety of beautiful campsites suitable for self-contained guests who have their own toilet/shower facilities and drinking water. Please note, all toilet waste is strictly to be taken off the property. Campfires are permitted in provided fire-pits or your own portable metal fire-pit out of fire restriction times and feel free to bring your furry friends, making sure they're leashed at all times. Some sites also provide chairs and table settings for your convenience. The farm is completely surrounded by the Wellsford state forest which offers bush walking and many tracks for bike riding. Mt Sugarloaf which is situated south of the property provides a great hike. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets create beautiful reflections on the water in the numerous dams on the property. Rainfall can restrict access to some sites on the property. The city of Bendigo is 25mins drive. Epsom is a 15min drive where you will find a shopping centre which includes a petrol station, Woollies, Pizza, Chemist Warehouse, Aldi, Brumbys Bakery, Reject Shop, Fish and Chips and BWS. Lake Eppalock is a 25min drive where you can engage in water sport activities. The Campaspe River is 10mins away. The farm is very quiet and restful with the sounds of abundant native bird life and provides great subjects and scenery for the photographic enthusiast. Loud, party groups with music at high volume are not permitted. Chainsaws and motorbikes are also not permitted.

We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. Brooklyn is a 6 generation working farm. We have plenty of space for fully self-contained parking. We also offer glamping and a tiny house available occasionally (view our other listings). This is a very large area in an open paddock with good access for caravans and large vehicles. You may well be the only people here though there’s is room for 10 vans. There is a view of the Broken Creek which is close to the property & easily accessible by a short walk. We’re are a 10 minute drive to Waaia with an excellent pub and the small town of Nathalia which has a supermarket, hotels, fuel, post office, bakery, gift & clothing stores & other businesses. Whilst there are other facilities on the property, this option is for guests who are self-contained only. Dogs on leash welcome. Lovely safe flat mowed grass area with a central communal shed for shade and some trees. A great place for children. The power was great with extra long leads to borrow so you can take advantage of most areas on the property. Taps for drinking water. Nicely tucked away from the roads and private from the house but very convenient with the shops less than 3 KMs away. So nice to be next to the State park too with a private gate so you can explore the old gold mining area very easily. The shower and toilet were clean and a definite bonus. The many friendly dogs, cats and birds would delight children. A lovely spot. Recommended.

Great camp site easily accessible for caravans/camper trailers. We camped down on the flat area near the dam and loved it. No one in site, good views, not too far from the closest town. Definitely recommend, would come back.

We had a great time camping here. The communication with Bec was fantastic - very prompt and accomodating. The site was large and spaced well away from others. We were warned of some noise as the mines shift swap occurred but we didn’t notice it at all. Good distance away from the dam for having little ones with you but close enough to walk down to and enjoy! Thanks for a great stay Bec and Cheryl.

Top of the Hill is an excellent location. Spacious, private, and has lots to explore. Perfect for a couple of families to come stay, spread out, and enjoy sitting around a camp fire together. I highly recommend coming and staying on Chris’ property and hope to come back again in the future!
