Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Barmah National Park. This forest, together with the adjoining Millewa forest, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our property is just 500 meters from the Murray River. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up. NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here. We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers. The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep. Campers must take out what you bring in. Mobile phone service and internet is usually reliable, though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear! Completely. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up. NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here. We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers. The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep. Campers must take out what you bring in. Such a great spot for camping in Kyabram. Within walking distance to fauna park. Great amenities with toilets and showers and each camp spot has its own free-standing shelter. There is plenty of room for the kids to run around and play. It was lovely waking up to all the bird noises in the morning. Carmel was such a great host, very thoughtful and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We will definitely be back.

Peaceful setting.. loved the big old trees, kookaburras and watching the squawking cockatoos with a cuppa by the campfire. We were the only ones there but there is enough space between campsites - I don’t think you’d hear or see them anyway if you’re looking for seclusion. Shower and toilet were great. Short 8 min drive into Moama if you need to pick up drinks/supplies, swim at Moama beach or go to the pub! Moama has a market on every second Sunday - worth a look if you’ve timed it well. Cheers

We loved this campsite as it was a perfect getaway for our dogs. The clearing was mowed and clean. While cooking dinner in the fire pit, the evening sun was shaded by the trees. Our dogs were able to roam free within the spacious site so we didn’t have to worry (too much). They enjoyed swimming in the little pond as well to cool off from the afternoon sun.

Best spot for the kids and doggo to run around without interrupting others. Felt very private . Little bit of road noise and noise from the quarry but doesn’t take away from the beautiful bird life or secluded setting. Bec was very welcoming and accomodating. We will be returning.

**Please be aware that for the month of November and December we will not be allowing camp fires due to risk to the crop. If no camp fire would be a disappointment (and we wouldn't blame you for being disappointed given the camp fire is the main activity!), you are best to book for outside this period. Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Barmah National Park. This forest, together with the adjoining Millewa forest, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our property is just 500 meters from the Murray River. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up. NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here. We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers. The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep. Campers must take out what you bring in. Mobile phone service and internet is usually reliable, though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear! Completely. We suggest downloading (before leaving home) your Spotify faves and Maps for this area then you can't go wrong. *Please feel free to book anyone in your possie that is under 18 as a child.

Tom’s Run is located on the Cobb Highway, 8 kilometres from the town of Deniliquin. The land has been managed through organic farming practices over more than 20 years. We run alpaca and dorper sheep. The farmland dries off in October, over long, hot summers, and greens up with autumn rain and/or irrigation from April each year. Hot summer days and nights. Winter mornings can begin with a frost. Deniliquin has many tourist destinations and the Edward River is popular for fishing, swimming and water sports in summer.
