Very relaxing stay in a beautiful rural setting. We had the whole paddock to ourselves and Anneke's hosting was lovely. We got introductions to all the animals and were loaned a couple of kites which made my boys day! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and we shall be returning.

This was our second time staying at Earth Edge, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The setting is absolutely beautiful ,peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect place to switch off and recharge.
The animals on the property are very friendly, and it’s such a dog-friendly space. Our two dogs absolutely loved it, and we felt completely at ease knowing the area is secure with no worry about them getting out, which made the stay even more relaxing.
The site is well maintained, thoughtfully set up, and very welcoming. The hosts checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and were just lovely warm, attentive, and respectful of our space.
Coming back for a second stay really says it all. We would happily return again and highly recommend Earth Edge to anyone looking for a calm, pet-friendly, nature-based getaway

Great place for a big group. There is an oval for kids and adults to play. There is a kitchen, a room, ladies and men's bathrooms and a big hall with cooling and heating. We have been here twice and likely will comeback.

We had a fantastic stay at Riverside Camp Site at Moorabool Ridge Vineyard. The location is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by nature, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind.
Amy and her husband were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome, which made us feel comfortable straight away. Communication was easy, and they were genuinely kind and helpful throughout our stay.
The campsite was clean, well maintained, and spacious. The washroom was fresh and clean, and perfectly maintained, which made our stay very comfortable.
A special mention to Gracie, the Golden Retriever — she is incredibly friendly and made our stay even more memorable and enjoyable. We absolutely fell in love with her, and she truly added a special charm to the experience.
We highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming, and memorable camping stay. Thank you, Amy — we would happily stay again!

The 2WD-accessible camping spot facing the dam is easy to reach. With only one campsite available, it's nice knowing you won’t have other groups right next to you. We didn’t get to use the canoe, but it’s there for guests to enjoy.
You’ll definitely experience some wildlife during your stay. We had a very busy but respectful kookaburra keeping us company the whole time, and plenty of happy wallabies and kangaroos hopping around. In warmer weather, if you go for a bushwalk, be mindful of snakes, and you may also see flying termites arriving at sunset.
Karen and David were very welcoming. Lalgambook Retreat is the perfect spot to enjoy a true camping experience while still having easy access to a hot shower and a clean flushable toilet just a short walk away.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hall and reserve. The place is peaceful, clean and surrounded by beautiful nature. The hall had everything we needed, and our group felt very comfortable throughout the stay. The playground, open space, and quiet environment were perfect for a relaxing getaway from the city.
The hosts were very helpful, friendly, and clear with their communication. We truly appreciate their support and care for the property.
Highly recommend this place, and we would love to come back again.

Karen and David's home at Lalgambook Retreat is magical. Nestled in a valley adjoining old gold mining settlements and the Dry Diggings section of the Great Dividing Trail it's a haven for anyone that loves nature, walking or just relaxing in a peaceful and tranquil environment where flora and fauna abound. Directions were perfect and access to the property easy with a little care. The final section of the descent into the valley is a reasonably steep but well formed drive and we managed it easily with our 8m 3.2t caravan and Landcruiser. The waterside site is easy to reverse into, is treed but with plenty of sun for solar power, and overlooks a large dam with a swimming platform. Karen and David have provided everything to make a stay more comfortable - bathroom with warm showers, bore water at the site for washing and a fire pit. We loved our 2 night stay here and could have stayed longer to take in more of the local walking. We walked to the nearby Chocolate Mill for coffee and visited the Daylesford Market and a local winery for lunch. A perfect weekend.

Great spot, nice big dam right in front of the campsite, plenty of room to set up (provided no other campers on the property) and very welcoming hosts.
We particularly loved seeing the kangaroos and resident kookaburras.

Weekend Trip to Macedon Ranges Glamping
We had a fantastic time here! Jonathan and Jennifer were so lovely and welcoming, and do a mean vegan breakfast! The bell tent had everything we needed including board games, a coffee machine, and a mini fridge. There's also a table and chairs outside of the tent so we relaxed out there with a bottle of wine. We loved seeing the local wildlife that they care for too. Will be back again!

It's an amazing place to stay for large groups.
A big bonus having the hall for the rainy days.
