All three of our private, well-spaced sites include toilet facilities and offer something unique for overnight stays or day visits with a picnic. You can even walk to the sites for a day outing and enjoy the views, the creek, and fresh air, especially at The Hut, perched atop the hills.

The Hut – a rugged hut with three enclosed sides, perfect for sunset drinks or a picnic. Suitable for tents or camper trailers; 4WD and reasonable backing skills required.

Family and Animal Experiences: Pets are welcome (please keep them under control unless discussed with hosts). Families are encouraged to contact us during their stay if they’d like to meet our farm and rescue animals, and we’ll arrange a visit around feeding time. $10 from every booking goes directly toward feeding and caring for our animals, helping keep them happy and healthy.
Notes and Safety: Autumn and winter rains may make hill tracks slippery; bookings may need rescheduling for safety. Fires must be contained within the provided fire pits. During bushfire season, open wood fires are not permitted. Limited phone coverage is available at The Laneway. Please respect all guests: loud music and disruptive behaviour are not tolerated.

Obviously vehicles lengths vary. Vans larger than 18ft will need experienced drivers who have towed in tighter locations and know how the wheels track behind the tow vehicle. Larger vans will need to take care. Under 18ft vans will easily fit, but care also needed.

The property offers the best views of Clarendon via a short walk to the top paddock. There is a limit of 2 private, protected campsites near the creek, each well-maintained and level, with scattered gum trees that provide lovely shade in the morning and afternoon.
Camp Toondilla is set up for self-contained campers who bring their own camp toilet and take all waste with them when they go. Well-behaved pets are welcome.

Tanah Merdeka is a 184 acre cattle farm currently stocked with Black Baldies, Speckle Park, Angus and Hereford.
The creek line paddocks are dedicated to Hipcampers, so you can be assured your campsite won't be interrupted by curious cows during your stay. We can't say the same for the wild kangaroos that call Tanah Merdeka home though.
Please be respectful of the working nature of the property and shut any gates you go through except for the automatic gates. Please respect our privacy and don't venture up the driveway towards the house.
You are welcome to walk through and explore the paddocks containing the creek line. Do not drive across the creek - walking and bicycles only.
Please do not feed the wildlife or the cattle and practice leave no trace camping. For stays longer than one night campers must bring a portable chemical toilet. Use only the firepit provided and comply with current fire danger restrictions. Some firewood may be available next to the firepit but please bring your own firewood if intending to have a fire as this can't be guaranteed.
Dogs are allowed off lead within the fenced camping paddock but be aware of grass seeds.

Family and Animal Experiences: Pets are welcome (please keep them under control unless discussed with hosts). Families are encouraged to contact us during their stay if they’d like to meet our farm and rescue animals, and we’ll arrange a visit around feeding time. $10 from every booking goes directly toward feeding and caring for our animals, helping keep them happy and healthy.
Notes and Safety: Autumn and winter rains may make hill tracks slippery; bookings may need rescheduling for safety. Fires must be contained within the provided fire pits. Camp Toondilla is set up for self-contained campers who bring their own camp toilet and take all waste with them when they go. Well-behaved pets are welcome.

Please be respectful of the working nature of the property and shut any gates you go through except for the automatic gates. Please respect our privacy and don't venture up the driveway towards the house.
You are welcome to walk through and explore the paddocks containing the creek line. Do not drive across the creek - walking and bicycles only.
Please do not feed the wildlife or the cattle and practice leave no trace camping. For stays longer than one night campers must bring a portable chemical toilet. Use only the firepit provided and comply with current fire danger restrictions. Kickback and relax far enough out of town that no one will bother you and also still be closer enough to duck to the shops for milk.
We'd love people to come an enjoy our little farm 6km out the back of Middleton, SA.
There are no facilities, power or access to water available but for anyone self contained you'll love it..
Check in from time from 1.00pm, but touch base if your'e early, we'll stretch for for you.
Super close to some of the best beaches in the state.

Goolwa for fishing 🎣
Port Elliot for swimming 🏊♀️
Rates include you getting to hang out with the horse (Nick) who love a stray carrot or 10 and our beautiful sheep including Kevin (the white sheep of the family, you'll get the joke when you meet him) We do allow dogs on leads as long as they are ok with animals. Campfires permitting (depending on local fire restrictions).

We had a wonderful weekend camping at The Hut with our young family. We felt like we were on top of the world with the incredible view! We were really grateful for the Hut during rainy times and the kids loved feeding the farm animals. The adjacent loo was really nice and clean, very flash camping conditions! Would love to go back when fire season is over to enjoy the beautiful fireplace looking out to the hills.

We had an amazing time! The owners are lovely, kind and helpful. They also care for their animals so much. We had a very special time feeding the animals and learning a bit about farm life. We will definitely be going back again.

I went camping at Sam’s farm last week and it was such a wonderful, relaxing experience 🌿
The environment is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature with fresh, clean air that instantly helps you unwind. The farm is very well maintained—everything was clean and tidy, which made the stay even more comfortable.
During the day, the views are stunning, and at night, the sky is full of stars. The scenery is truly perfect ✨ It’s the kind of place where time seems to slow down.
Highly recommend it if you’re looking to escape the city and enjoy some peace and quiet!

Gorgeous location by the creek, decent facilities. The hill down is steep but was fine in our big rickety 2WD. Steve is lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Steve is super friendly and welcoming. The farm is beautiful and very peaceful which can be perfect choice for everyone; couples, family or group of friends.

The hosts were incredible, gave us a little gift basket upon arrival! They set up a gazebo over our swag because it was raining and we didn't have one. They invited us to feed the animals with them and all around very friendly and accommodating. The stay was quiet with lots of native wildlife around, could spot all kinds of birds. It's also near a lovely winery.
